I would say the biggest difference here is Caitlyn actually had the surgery to change herself, where as there is no way to have surgery to change your race.

He was feeling like a woman because if his hormones, the female hormones were more. So he has always been a woman inside (chemically as I said) literally, but it was not visible on the outside. So he made it visible with surgery. He has always been a woman due to his hormones and chemicals that are as a woman's and not as a man's. You can't change race, because race because not something visible and it's something you are, it's the culture you received. She didn't receive black culture and grew up in a white family and received white culture. That can't change, culture is an exterior factor that makes us who we are and influences our character and our way of thinking while we grow up. What is race? Not just genes, culture, principles, tradition. All of those were white for her, as she grew up and when you are a child growing up these are the most critical years of character development. That is race. She can admire and like black culture and black people but that's as far as it cango.
