Its people bitching about how tough their life supposedly is and how offended they are by something someone said.

So what if you can't get laid or someone doesn't like you. There are people who have it a million times worse than you. You don't get to complain.

Firstly, I do agree with the general message of this take.
Secondly, I never bitch about stuff via self victimizing. I personally bitch more because I’m angry at myself and not someone else or society in general. Like the thing about not getting laid.– I do bitch about it but I blame myself.
Thirdly, although in the context of this take it is true, the idea about "someone has it harder so you shouldn'’t complain”" is rather stupid in and of itself. Yes there are starving Africans or refugees coming into our countries but we should be taking care of our poor FIRST, even if they don’t have it that bad. I don't see anything wrong with people expressing discontent over their life, especially if they've tried things. Not everyone does well with the "tough love" approach. I know I don't and therefore, I maintain tact and empathy myself when speaking to others.

Sensitive people are on average more perceptive, sensual, "sweet", compassionate, and conscientious. They tend to have "bigger hearts", and a lot of people respect them from that.

One of my teachers seems like a pretty sensitive man and students give him massive respect and even though as an opportunity cost, he's putting himself in a position to be taken advantage of with all the flexibility he offers us, most of us don't just because again, we have massive respect for him as a teacher and his understanding and empathetic approach to teaching.

Now there are advantages to the strict and stoic people as well. They also have the potential to receive a lot of respect and often do. I've had massive respect for those teachers as well for other reasons.

I think sensitivity is double-edged. Good and bad.

That's a great take. I agree completely. I'm in one of those moods where I don't want to hear any fussing. I have enough to fuss about myself and here's the kicker--I don't fuss! I have to vent every once in a while but that's it. Then I'm done. I'm surrounded by people (my own mom, especially) that complain about EVERYTHING and act like it's the end of the world if they don't feel good or if something hurts a little bit or if something goes the least bit wrong or whatever else. It's so hard to not say GET OVER IT AND SHUT UP every time I hear it. Same goes for bullying. If someone is called a name, they freak out. I agree to an extent. Sometimes I think people get worked up and offended by really stupid things, and they need to get thicker skin (Tumblr kills me sometimes). I have actually been in the position that is why I am harsh. I know what it's like to be bullied, to think that there's something wrong with you.
