Most of the things you wrote has happened to me but there are things that you did not put in, I was taught to open doors pull out chairs to talk and treat women with respect but now if I open the door for woman she called me sexist and says I can open the door myself the same thing with pulling the chair out, I've been insulted, stabbed, abused, called names, bullied, embarrassed even rapedand when I told someone like Police department for instance they laughed at me, if I was a girl reporting on a guy they would have been arrested, I've had more women for bosses that made so many sexual advances and threats of being fired and I lost my job because I didn't, it's to the point I'm just going to be alone, can't trust anyone men or women, it is a sad time to live in today, they've made dolls look so real maybe that's the answer?

As I read through your magnificent myTake and all of the affirming responses here from most of the men AND women, I heard the lyrics of the Beatles song 'Here Comes The Sun' playing in my head. That's what it feels like lately as I see the majority of people acknowledging all the of bullshit feminism has been perpetrating on all of us, but especially men. It feels like the sun is finally beginning to peek through the clouds after decades of feminist darkness.

It is incredibly heartening to read such an intelligent, honest and accurate assessment of feminism from a woman. THANK you! You give me hope that there are better days ahead.

The first wave of feminism is the only one that have truth in it, back then woman was not allowed to vote and to work outside their father or husband home. Modern day feminist comprised of many misandrists and illusional woman, most of them are forever single, with no surprise where, and their try too hard to justify the need for their movement to exist and go to the history pages there it belong, in western societies sexism exist in the feminist movement more them anywhere else, how ironic.

Well said. Glad to see you're getting feedback too.

    Here is one you missed:
A woman in the military can do anything just as well as man and should not be treated any differently. Women in the military should have easier physical fitness standards than men, or else men will dominate the in rank and number.

Thank you for acknowledging the absurdity of feminism.
If feminists were for equality, they would rally behind injustices done onto men, like absurd rates of suicide and depression, the lack of graduation in higher education of men. How men are forced into drafts for war.

Never has a feminist rallied behind such causes.

Imagine a feminist saying: "We want equality! Equality! Equality!"
Then an officer: "Ok great, we still have some space left to go to [war place]. Your job starts tomorrow"
      Feminist: "FUUUUUUUUUU!!!"

The high rates of suicide of men is mostly because men don't like to talk about their feelings, therefore eventually escalates to suicide because they don't seek help for it, and sadly that's because males thinks it's feminine and weak to talk about "feelings". I am a feminist but I don't ignore men's issues simply because I believe society still have some things to work on when it comes to women's rights and making it an equal society.

and this right here is why i think feminism is bullshit.

Don't get me wrong, feminism has done a lot of great things. but nowadays they're just a perfect example of "give an inch, take a mile".

It's time they step down and let actual equality do the job.

Feminism is nothing more than an extension of the desires of those who use it.

They don't want to feel shame or remorse for their actions, and they want to feel like they earned it themselves.

This is why I don't take feminism seriously. It's bullshit for losers.

MGTOW and Red Pill is turning into that emotional handicapped extreme right now too.

in my opinion the number 1 group that objectifies men, is other men. men are the victims of most crimes, which are mostly committed by men, but no one talks about that.

violent homicide... assaults... being a victim of a crime is the ultimate loss of rights if you ask me. forget all the emotional stuff, why does no one mention this?

and you'll get tons of approval from guys on here for writing this... but the guys can be so naive about everything. all you have to do is write a few paragraphs, and they'll think you're awesome. it's just so easy to convince them of anything. it's ridiculous.

it's like they're all a bunch of toddlers waiting to say "OMG mommy loves me now and she'll take care of me!!!" I hate that so much, because I don't want a childish guy... I mean in real life. so many guys act like toddlers and babies now. I hate it. other women can live with that, but I just can't. I'd rather be single for life than to have to put up with that emotional nonsense.

"why does no one mention this"
Actually feminists do and cannot seem to grasp the idiocy when they mention such in the same breath as "women are scared to walk down the dark alley at night" crap. MRA have talked about it for years whenever feminists bring up the poor wittle victimized women. It's feminists who treat that data as indicative of "all men" (insert some misandry and generalization here) and also talk about women being the "biggest victims of (insert some garbage here that contradicts the earlier misandry).

-And yet it's not men clamoring for safe spaces with crayons and juice boxes.
-It's not men marching and whining that everyone from the Government (see all tax payers) to their employers should be paying for their sexual choices.
-It's not men that immediately cry "but, but what about MEEEEEE" when women's issues are plastered daily across every media platform there is.

I'm really kind of curious when feminism stopped being about equality and turned into whatever all this bullshit is.

I've never personally met a feminist who thought any of that stuff wasn't a problem.

Most of the things you've outlined are directly caused by the patriarchy (societal views on how men and women are expected to act). The goal of feminism is to correct this horseshit, not perpetuate it.

Anyone who doesn't understand that simply isn't a feminist.

Short version: The patriarchy fucks everyone, and grants everyone benefits, often at opposing ends of the spectrum. Feminism aims to correct that, but reverse-sexism is dominating the discussion.

Do you not realize the irony in your statement? All the problems that women face is due to patriarchy (men) and all the problems that men face are due to patriarchy (men). Either way you have made men the scape goat and have placed all blame on them and stated that women are not apart of society nor due they have any influence over ie they are nothing more then things that exist within the society without having any influence on it. Thats sexist towards men and women.

There is no irony in that statement. The patriarchy HAS fucked both men and women. Of course it is the scapegoat, it is the establishment that has had 100% of the power for, oh, the last few thousand years. The biggest opponents of any change to the status quo are those that stand to lose power because of the change. Any attempt to normalize power between other groups will upset those that have have been in the position of privilege. And that has been pretty much the exclusive domain of Western European men for a very, very long time.

The purpose of feminism is to achieve balance. Hijacking the discussion by pointing out individuals that push the balance too far and then claiming that it somehow invalidates the morality of equality is simply a bullshit bait-and-switch. It just happens to be a very effective bait-and-switch.

Except it's never aimed to "correct" that. It's only purpose has been to give women any and all perceived "privileges" that men had with none of the obligations or responsibilities that went with it. You can see it today.

@BearsAnswers The mental gymnastics you people go through is astounding. Do any of you realize that if you spent half the energy you spend making bullshit up to justify more bullshit, that you could actually succeed and achieve in life without having to blame the bogeyman for any failings?
" And that has been pretty much the exclusive domain of Western European men for a very, very long time."
Funny I don't remember any women having the "privilege" to die in the millions for the right to vote or even apply for government anything. Don't remember any women having the "privilege" to work in back breaking, soul crushing labor in mines, railroads, shipyards, etc etc.
Here's a hint: using feminism's bullshit, myopic revisionist history doesn't actually help you.
