Just felt like writing up some of the reasons I don't identify as a feminist. Just to point out, this does not mean I am anti-equality.

- First off, the first woman suffragates were racist. I'd rather not identify with a group that preferred not to identify with people like me in the first place. I'm not saying feminism is like the KKK, but the KKK claims to not be violent or blood-thirsty even though that certain terrorist organisation was bred from fucking crazy nutjobs who would easily murder people like me in cold blood. They probably are still like that, but you get my point. The feminist heritage is tied with racism, even though many feminists may not be racist any more. That's a personal no-no, for me.
- Secondly, there IS a certain number of people who are feminists and misandrists at the same time. Whether they are a majority or minority, I don't know, which is another reason I prefer to not identify as a feminist. A lot of feminists claim these people are not real feminists, and yet they still identify as such. So, these lot of feminists who claim they are not real feminists, are using a "No True Scotsman Fallacy" (https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/No_True_Scotsman). Similar to how Christians claim the followers of the Westboro Baptist Church are not Christians. But they are.
- Thirdly, a lot of the feminists I've encountered seem to be under the impression that feminism is the only way to believe in gender equality. That is bullshit. These particular feminists seem to have a superiority complex. So, I choose to stay away from that. Look at me, I advocate gender equality and I'm not a feminist. Ooh, I must be a wizard! Ta-da!!
- Fourth, the "tumblr feminists" really piss me off. I know they don't represent feminism in general but they are taking it upon themselves to do so. These fools are the worst. Actively looking to offend while being offended by virtually anything at the same time. Clearly misandrists but claim not to be. Heck, some even claim misandry isn't even a real word. I'm using this word right now and humans have been using it since the late 19th century. Ala-kazam, you hate the man! Also, these dickheads support Hilary Clinton. HILARY CLINTON! The slimiest reptillian humanoid of them all. They seem oblivious to how much of a manipulitive liar she is. Do you know she lied about being shot at by snipers while at a meet and greet in Bosnia. There was VIDEO FOOTAGE of her walking out of the plane, unharmed, un-shot at, calmly walking towards the Bosnians excited to see her. She was even singing at the camps she visited. When caught out on her lie, she hesitated before claiming she was sleep deprived. SLEEP DEPRIVED. The oldest and most used excuse in the book for fucking up. Even the room full of journalists laughed their asses off.
Ah, well that's me and why I don't identify as a feminst but still support gender equality. You can agree or disagree with me if you want, I probably won't respond since most users on this website give me a headache.

"Thirdly, a lot of the feminists I've encountered seem to be under the impression that feminism is the only way to believe in gender equality. That is bullshit."
So true indeed. They just want people to believe they own equality, so they can call anyone who criticizes them as "sexists"
Nice take brother. Spot on! Keeping fighting the good fight against sexism / feminism.
I'm not against feminism, at this point in time. I just don't support them.
Although, I am against sexism against both men and women. So far, feminism hasn't convinced me that it is too. MRMs are openly a single-gender movement. So, I'm stuck in the middle.
MRMs are openly a single-gender movement? Where did you get that idea? Can you show me an official source? I mean, there are some who are but the movement is pro-men, anti-sexism. So I must disagree with you.
I must admit, I haven't done enough research to come to a solid conclusion but it says it in the name, so that's where I got it from.
Feminism too, it says it in the name.
Which is why at this time, I choose to associate with neither.
Could you show me some examples where MRMs have fought for women's rights as well as men's?
I never said they did. Unlike feminism, MRAs are honest and forthright about the fact that they are only about men's rights. MRAs have never claimed to be about women's rights. Feminism, on the other hand, SAYS it is about fairness and equality for everyone (i. e., both men and women), which is an outright lie.
The fact is that MRAs only exist because of that lie and the fact that feminism advocates for women's interests at the expense of men's interests and rights. If feminism WAS about equality, MRAs would never have existed in the first place. If feminism went away as it should (or it actually advocated for both genders, which will never happen), MRAs would disappear overnight.
I know that which is why I was confused when you were surprised I said MRMs are single-gender (by gender, I mean male and female).
If you don't mind me asking, could you elaborate on why you were surprised when I said that? Just curious, I'm not meaning to be antagonistic.
My bad. I misunderstood you.
Oh, you thought I meant MRMs are for men-only.
Lol, no it's cool, I should have worded it better.
I initially took your comment to mean that MRAs are anti-women. When I reread it I realized that's not what you said, which is why I said it was my bad.
I'm not a feminist and I don't support feminism because it just seems like it's a group of girls that hates guys
