What inspired me to make this mytake is this question:

Why do black people like white people?

I actually see many questions like this on here. Every time I'm just like omg this ridiculous. This person obviously knows nothing about the black community. So I just want to inform you that black men still love their black women and vise versa. Yes, interracial relationship's are more relevant now however, I have to disagree with the person who asked that question. I was the girl who wrote this answer..... "

Ummm... Where you live at? Lbs This is so not true. Being a light skinned complexion black girl I can say that more black guy's would pick a black girl over a white girl with no hesitations and same for black girls. I know A LOT of black guy's and pretty much all of them say they wouldn't date A white girl and the black girls say there not attracted to white guys. They both say I couldn't date a white girl/boy. This is from my personal experience. Sure on here it's different but this is the internet I'm speaking about reality. Most black guy's love there black women and black girls love there black men. Black men really have a thing for light skinned black girls. Ex: Beyonce and Rihannas complexion"

There is nothing wrong with interracial relationship's but, some people on here try to make it seem as if black people think other races are better then there own. Which is most certainly not true.

I agree that the person who says, "Black men like white women," is ignorant the fact that many black men do like black women, but I would also like to point something out: what if that were true? At the end of the day, does it really matter if all the black men in the world went after white women?
What if the opposite were true? What if all the black women went after only white men? Then what?

Would it even matter?
Would it matter that people found happiness regardless of skin color? I think in the larger scope of things, so long as we can find happiness, who cares if someone it white, black, brown, yellow, red or whatever other color you want to call someone/yourself? So long as you are both happy, just go for it.
I know that's not the point of the article, but I have heard enough about the interracial relationships fight for a lifetime. We all are humans, we are all one people who have allowed ourselves to be divided by the frequency and amplitude of light emitted by the pigment molecules in our skin. Who cares about that incredibly tiny shift in pigment and tint?

However there is a problem when people try to belittle the black race as a whole and make it seem like they want a white significant other to feel superior. Lol in my experience the majority of people marry and fuck lol within their race and then a few exceptions marry or date or whatever outside of their race. This stands for all races black, white etc. Unless they grew up in a town with a race predominantly different than their own.
But yeah Im a black girl and not light skinned but quite dark and black guys are attracted to me quite often. Great take. I think this is 100% true. As a white guy, I don't see any black girls interested in white guys despite the internet fad for interracial dating. Black girls want black guys, period. Black guys are more open-minded, but most black guys I've known preferred black girls. Makes sense, too. I think black people have much more successful relationships with other black people.

I mostly agree with this MyTake. In my opinion, black men love black women simply for the fact that it's easier to relate to them. Like, I don't need to explain why I'm apprehensive towards the cops to a black woman.
