Why Men and Women Should Band Together and Tell the Media to Shove It!

I have been on G@G for about a week and a half now. It has made me realize something that was already obvious, but hadn't quite clicked in my head yet. We are being played. Both genders are being played by the media to expect things from each other that are ridiculous. Let's take a look...

I googled "women" and this was image #4. This is not a woman. This is the shape of a woman, if I may, that has been most likely photoshopped. Women don't go around sexually licking bananas. You will not go to a grocery store and see a woman in the produce section "testing" out bananas like this. This feels more like a real person to me:

Something really tasty. Guilt on her lips. Thinking about the 0.4584672 pounds she is gaining by eating said tasty morsel. This is sadly probably photoshopped too. My point being though is women and men have differences, but we are both, at the end of the day, doughnut eating, life struck humans wandering the face of this tiny rock we call earth.

It's not just men who are having their expectations way over hyped. Let's take a look at some men. Case and point. First pic on a google search of "Men"

This is not a man. It is the form of a man. This photo is edited to all hell. Even if it wasn't, maybe 5% of guys have a body like this. Most guys don't want to spend 2 hours at the gym every day. We want to sit on a couch and watch a movie or something. Expecially if it's with our woman. Women please for the love of love don't give in to this unrealistic represenation of Men. Same goes to us men and the photo example of a woman.

"Hello my name is Jake. I am a normal dude." This looks more like your average everyday man to me. Even his facial structure is a little too much to expect from 95% of men out there. Can't we have more of this and less "He's not chiseled enough" or "She's not starved enough".

I implore you. Next time you go out, take look around. Really gander for a moment. At all the people passing by and get a good feel for what to expect. Even then you are only getting a sampling of all humanity has to offer.

I think it's about time stopped playing into the media's bullsh*t, and told them to shove it. Who's with me?

Wow, I am extremely impressed.. I don't even have a lot to say to this, because you hit everything pretty much on point. Very well done, and yes, I am with you. You are so right, everything about social media and Hollywood too, it's all a big lie and you wonder why you have so many young girls starving themselves to death (literally) or young teens getting depressed and committing suicide. It's so sad, and it's not right. We should all have a healthy awareness of the fact that magazines, social media, and movies are all Hollywood photo shopped pics of one big lie. I get your point about unrealistic standards, but going too far the other way isn't good either. For example most men aren't going to be shredded like the guy you showed, but most guys can make some effort to become fitter and stronger, it doesn't require 2 hours in the gym every day, and that's better than spending all your spare time on a couch eating junk getting fat watching TV.

Excellent take! The media is in it for the money and the most money is made by catering to the lowest common denominator. We have to find ways to discourage people from aspiring to join the bottom. We need to encourage rather than insult guys who date strong, intelligent and/or loving girls who are less attractive. Likewise for girls who date intelligent, caring guys who are socially awkward. We are all guilty if we reinforce the attitudes of those at the bottom. Thanks for putting this in words!

This is just a tiny part of social engineering by the media. It's the propaganda tool of the modern age. It's most people's only education and they believe it all unreservedly. Young girls think it's fun to be gay, young guys think it's great to wear make up and embrace feminine traits. this world is a joke now. If you old enough you sit back and go wtf happened to this place. Everybody is getting used and abused by the media which is owned by business which in turn only cares about profit not quality. You tell me, do you honestly think, knowing what I just said, that it's going to be a pure form of knowledge? You know it's isn't. The truth doesn't sell.

Yeah really good points. That banana pic is cool. Tbh I have seen one person do this, tho not sure if deliberate or just the way they ate. But tbh, if more people do eat like that, I don't think anyone would complain.

But agreed on the pressure to be like what they show. E. g. body wise etc. be comfortable with who you are.

Outstanding take , I have posted about the " media " warping minds several times on here & other sites , the owners of the " media " ( the Rothschild Cartel ) have a " Divide & Rule " agenda , an unhappy , fearful population is easier to control & manipulate , notice the " news " always uses fear creation tactics. Hence I stopped watching TV many years ago as it's BS propaganda.

Right, but we only get the media we deserve as a population. They cater to what we want to see and what the government wants to spoon feed them. It seems like ratings and subscriptions are better with beautiful people, so, being a profit based industry, the media displays what it's readers, and viewers want.

Advertisers work by a similar code. So what do you suggest we do?
