On a school trip four strangers who were guys claimed they liked me, I go to an all girls school so that was a biggie. However the girls said it was because I was dressed like a slut basically. I was wearing a long sleeved dress with tights... Yeah I think it's jealousy too

@Sophiaaaaaa girls are the worst for it. You're all taught to outdo each other looks wise so your in competition for approval and attention. Just like a bunch of guys tricking out cars to race. They feel jealous and spiteful towards the guy who has the fastest and best looking motor. Losers gang together in failure to bolster each other and bring down the winner. Human nature. You hate what you can't beat and pity what you can. If people hate you for no reason you know your doing something right

Actually I am skinny and I am not that good looking. Never had a boyfriend and I have been called ugly lots before. I am not underweight by any means. I have a fat percentage lf 22% and I am in shape and try to keep it that way... But unfortunatly I have no curves. Hopefully I am one of those women that sprouts out in their 20s. I have heard stories. Maybe thatll be me. But for now, no dating for me. Its too much negativity that i dont need in my life because boys just care about tits and ass

@Grungenoreos Not everyone prizes tits and ass that much. Sure fellow 17yo's probably do more. Historically if my partner had a bush I so couldn't care less about the lack of an ass or tits. That's just one of the things that does it for me. And as far as ugly if you are skinny at least you have something to work with. Hair and makeup on a skinny girl goes a long way. Hair and makeup on a fat girl not so much (the result is sometimes like gold-plating a turd).

@fuqthegovt I choose not to wear makeup because it feels fake to me. To each their own. Makeup isn't wrong. But if its not who I really look like I will feel hella fake with makeup and I don't like that. I may be insecure but I prefer to show the world the REAL me at all times.

@fuqthegovt actually its a scientific fact that the waist to hip ratio and waist to breast ratio that is as close to.7 as possible is most attractive to the eyes of man. I won't go into detail about the details of the research but yeah hourglass is not the ideal body type for no reason

Wow wow wow! I am completely speechless for the first time in my life. This campaign was banned in NYC last year. And costed the agency million of dollars to put it up and pull it down. Healthy doesn't mean skinny by the way. Please try to illustrate your thoughts next time you write an intake, and make a research so you can learn better about the images you add. Damn girl. Smh.

And I'd like to add the campaign was not banned based on skinny shaming. It was banned because it was an add for a protein product, putting a girl's picture in her bikini. For feminist causes. And the slogan.. Beach body next to skinny girl is not fair to many others shapes. It's not about being skinny or not, it's about the media and the advertisement that uses this figure only to sell more. 💵💵💵

You're not talking about healthy, you're talking about skinny, and skinny doesn't always equal healthy. And the message about respecting an individual's choices really gets lost in the arrogance of this.

Thin is definitely not viewed as ideal, at least not in today's society. Now it's all about being slim thick and curvy, and if you're skinny in the slightest you're labeled as "anorexic" or "too skinny". And that being flat/having no boobs or butt is ugly. Women with big butts and tiny waists with BMIs of around 20-24 are constantly being praised and idealized. Don't even get me started. Runway models are viewed as bad too and most people in general just prefer ass and tits on a woman.

Lol i haven't gotten a date because the boys love curvy girls. Apparently I am too skinny and have no hips or ass. But I have a healthy bmi and fat percentage and am in the middle of my weight zone for my height. Its just my shape. i dont go in and out like I should and have nothing. Zilch curves!! Nada. I look like a 12 year old boy with some little titties going on. I been consuming more calories and exercising better to change this (squating, lifting, sprinting, ect) but its just sculpting me. Not chamging my horrible body shape. A shape I am not afraid to say I hate

I actually do want to be sexy. Skinny is pretty but the women who actual own sex appeal are curvy women. Sure, everyone has different taste but generally curvy is whats sexy. Most guys would pick a curvy girl over a skinny chick. Science backs it up on all the reasons why men are attracted to lithe curves : wide hips in comparison to waist, bum, boobs, etc. I have nothing and so fuck my life. I make sure my 5'2 self gets to consume at least 2,000 calories a day (i have an app that tracks products and their nutrition by scanning it), am super healthy, haven't gotten sick in ages, and am improving greatly in fitness. But nahh my squats, lunges, sprinting and all my other booty and hips exercises are doing nothing but lifting and sculpting my body. Nothing is getting bigger

@DivaMonae everybody gets put down. It's human nature to have bullies. As adults we just have to develop thicker skin and get used to it. People complain too much now and they think it's okay to make a big deal out of everything that bothers them.
