The baby inside the mother isn't alive until 4 weeks (I think O'm not sure exactly) Before it, the baby's heart isn't alive and doesn't beat. I think you can have abortion before it's alive otherwise it's like : don't kill semen they have a life.

@goaded well i live my life according to orthodox theology. thats my moral and knowledge compass in life in these last years. and it proved quite reliable and meaningful till now. i was a secualr person before but now i saw life under a new light.

@katiesmuff good and educated woman, i hear you carefully, but would you go to an opthalmologist if your stomach was in pain? same thing with hard sciences. they are occupied with issues of matter. for matters of the soul there is theology.
@supernerd99 Exactly the soul is found in theology material, not in science. Theology is also the associated teaching of religions and therefore should have ZERO say so in the making of our countries regulations or laws. Theology is a persons right to believe or not and does not belong pushing its beliefs on everyone.
@katiesmuff yeah i guess you are talking about religions. for me theology is a hard science. even "harder" than physical sciences. in the sense that it is perfectly applicable to real life, and it shows exact cause and effect. if you follow what it says you get these results. its even more trustworthy thatn science in that regard. and has an unprecedented insight about the human psyche. cause its revelation, not theories made by humans. i'm talking about orthodox theology. its something you must live to validate or invalidate... .

I started reading this with an open mind then you referred to an unborn child as a "parasite". Your opinion is worthless to me and I assume mine is to you as well.

A human being does not live inside your womb, but rather out of it. Parasite live in or on the host, not outside otherwise it wouldn't be considered a parasite.
If you are able and willing to have and raise a child, do it! As long as you can support yourself and your child without draining the system, go ahead. But if you can't, then don't. And don't let anyone force their beliefs onto you. Because at the end of the day you can scream abortion is murder until you cannot speak and protest all you like but once the child is born, are you going to stick around to help them? Are you donating a quarter of a million? Or will you turn around and say, "How irresponsible!" Or "Why have a child if you can't afford it" and move on when you see a struggling family and help "save a life" of the next woman with an unwanted pregnancy?

Fostering children is something Id like to do when I've finished my formal studies.
Imagine caring for a child you never wanted after being forced to carry him/her to term. Feeding it, bathing it, entertaining it and caring for it for years on end, often with no support. The father is not involved (due to rape, incest or simply disinterest). Your body has permanently changed, your career/education is forever postponed
That logic could be used to say you should be able to kill a child up to the age of 18 or when theyve left home. Like I said; yeah the baby might inconvenience you, but killing it is not the solution.
A fetus exists because it feeds off the mother's body, inside it. A child is its own independent person. I'm pretty sure babies aren't built into women's bodies at birth then show up at the most inconvenient time. But hey, it's not the first time men seem to know everything about women's bodies.
Life isn't defined based on whether its dependent on an external being for its own existence. Someone suffering from polio, in an iron lung, isn't not alive simply because they depend on it to survive.
Also, belittling someones opinion due to their gender is sexist and bigoted. I have a vested interest in these issues as they effect the society that I live in.

Except with the part about parasite, because you can't create parasite by having sex. Most of the parasites are insects and worms, not mammals. Sure, it's women's choice, but not because the embryo is not human (yet), but because it's not conscious/cognitive human being, therefore, it's not alive in sentient sense.
People who are "pro-life" are actually pro-bigotry... most of them are judeo-christian-islamic zealots. Every woman has a right to choose, we live in democracy, not in some religious state or church principate.
