I noticed lately based on questions I made here, that there is a constant back and forth war going on because of this "delicate" topic and Ideology. - FEMINISM -
Please read the whole thing before you judge!!!
Disclaimer: I don't support either of the theories, so basically I'm not a Feminist but I'm not an Anti Feminist either.
Why?
Because I don't hate Men in general
...DUH I thank all Gods that they exist, I love cooking for my Man and I don’t need female empowerment, because I’m not weak ... (I just never opened a Jar by myself)
On the other hand , my Man does Cook, while i check our cars engine because it made some weird noise the other day... Then I run up to him to open a Jar for me because I'm too weak to open it ... as always ....
NO THIS IS NOT EQUALITY !! THIS IS COLLABORATION
This is about giving 50/50 in a relationship, this is about NOT EXPECTING but about RESPECTING ...
Gender ROLES should never pay an important role in any relationship
(I HAD TO LEARN THIS LESSON AS WELL)
It's about to share the equal satisfactions, about to give without expecting to receive something in return ... It's about loving to please your Man but also to cook for him, and it's about your Man buying you flowers and to run your bath just for the heck of it, It's about watching a soccer game with him and right after going to the cinema to watch a romantic cry baby movie ..... without looking at WHAT GENDER DID WHAT AND WHY !!
SURE, WOMEN MUST SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES, WE MUST BE INDEPENDENT AND FIGHT FOR THEIR PERSONAL RIGHTS ... Because nobody is allowed to stop them :)
BUT THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BASH MEN JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN NOW !!!
But Men also do have the right to speak up for themselves, because they are being BASHED MORE AND MORE just when they look at a woman they are considered PERVERTS. AND of course they are not allowed to bash Women either ... Hell to the NO !!
Gender Oppression does not only affect WOMEN
Sure, it was way more different in the past, and trust me as a woman, I’d rather live here and now than almost any other point in history.
And I’m not denying the struggles that many girls and women around the world still face, or claiming that mine are equal to theirs, HELL NO!! I would love to help every girl in need that is being oppressed by their father, brother, or husband ...
Because we all experience gender roles and equality differently, keep this in mind. Not all of us are lucky.
WE NEED TO BASH THE RIGHT MAN, THE RIGHT PREDATOR
!!! THE ONE WHO REALLY IS A SEXIST PIG
no no no not only MEN
WOMEN ALSO
What is normal in my Relationship might not be normal in yours. And vice versa.
WE all experience Equality diversely depending on where we live and how we where raised ...
Yes, sometimes when you are surrounded by men for example in a meeting, you as a woman tend to loose your voice, and we automatically think about how this way of sexism hurts us, BUT I’m not whining or making things up.
I don't even care !!
I don’t think of myself as a victim, and I don’t actually enjoy complaining,
NO I hate complaining.
I’m also not saying I’m not glad I have the freedom to vote, to apply for any job I want, and to be viewed as a full legal human. I'm thankful for all those things, but why should i over analyze a harmless situation ?? Bash MEN and calling them SEXIST PIGS when we live in the 21st century and we ALREADY HAVE THE VOICE BUT MOST OF US DON'T REALLY USE IT !! Instead we complain ...
On the other hand, IF YOU THINK you don't have a voice, speak louder, SOME MAN WOULD LOVE TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ... ;)
“Women may have a few obstacles that men don’t, but feminism actually insults women by acting like they’re not able to overcome those obstacles. It encourages women to be sensitive and thin-skinned instead of being tough and going after their goals. Women don’t need feminism. We’re strong enough to succeed on our own.”
Why can't we just be neutral, and accept each others flaws as our own, and try to reflect on our behavior, YES not all MEN ARE AMAZING, but neither are WOMEN ...
We should try and listen to each other carefully, we should understand each other, and try to come to a solution, we need to stop generalizing and judging people, calling them different names just because they like different things than you ...
Can we instead just share opinions, valuable opinions, without calling names, without offending each other..
IT'S FREAKING EASY !!!
Yes, you might attack me with whatever excuse you got, but I stand firm about this Idea, I won't change a thing about this.
Let the wars and debates in the comment section begin ... I'm looking forward to read carefully about your ideas, and your thoughts.
Personally, I am against these things but no chance in hell I will ever want to be with a feminist because in my opinion, they are just... urgh I don't even want to describe them. I'd rather be with someone who is smart and takes appropriate action rather yelling at men for everything on internet. In real life, they do nothing but cry in their basement.
Women are NOT equal to men. Yes, I said it. BECAUSE they are better than us in some areas and vice-versa. Nature didn't create us equally, we are meant to be complementary to each other. But yeah prejudice is wrong. Rights should be equal, but roles? "probably" not.
Ok first I wanna say, I am a male and a mixed race Latino of African and Indigenous ancestry. I also consider myself liberal, and yes I guess a "feminist" if we literally mean just men and women both deserve to be equal.
The problem I have with many on the liberal side is that they went from trying to help women and minorities to bashing men/white people or more specifically white men. I can agree that historically in the USA Men had an advantage over women, just how I can say how white people had an advantage over colored people. But I think it's safe to saw we are far beyond past that, are there still issues we can work on? Sure of coarse, but it goes both ways.
I see racism towards whites from my latin community a lot. Where many Latinos/Blacks talk about not trusting white people, white people are the devil. And I call out my community on their shit when I see the hate from their side. And the same way I see this attitude from women as well towards men.
I think that men and women both have issues they struggle with, and they should both hear each other out. I think it's very easy for women to forget how men also have struggles with dating, domestic abuse, child custody and divorce case settlements, jail sentences etc. But at the same time, as a person of color, I also try to be understanding of white people. I feel bad for white people sometimes because many of them are nice people but they live with this white guilt over there shoulders, or they are afraid to speak their minds about race issues.
Becuase I'm a minority I can get away with saying a lot, but I can see my white friends are scared, if they do the wrong thing, say the wrong thing, they can risk being called a racist forever. And I think white men specifically have it worse in the guilt/getting bashed department. Feminist don't really come after me because I have my mixed race identity protecting me, if I was a white man however I'm sure the backlash would be way worse.
But I ultimately agree with your post. I think we both should understand eachother, male, female, white, black, brown etc. I try to understand women and also white people, because I know that sometimes things can feel a certain way for them. So I have no problem extending a hand of empathy and hearing them out.
You should also write a MyTake about the race issuea id br glad to read more details about it. But feminisim against whites or blacks is irrelevant they are against whatever is male. Thank you for reading i appreciate it 💗
@natured I wound't say it's irrelevent, many on the far left who adopted a radial feminist mindset also have adopted the anti-White male mindset also. Recently on the "day without women" many feminist/women were encouraging women to not show up to work and not to shop at places to show the world that women are needed.
BUT, there were also many feminist/women who were enocuraging other women to not shop but if they wanna shop they can still shop at businesses that are owned by women or men of color
"Organizers are asking women to take off work and to avoid shopping, unless it's at small businesses owned by minorities or women" - NYTimes - By SUSAN CHIRA, RACHEL ABRAMS and KATIE ROGERS MARCH 8, 2017
So in many instances, radial feminism also correlates with Anti-Whiteness or more specifically Anti-White male.
Anyways I'm not saying I don't agree with your post, obviously I do, and it's very well written and thought out, I'm just trying to add on to it because in my real life experience but also on a lot I see online and TV, and coming from left wing media, anti-whiteness does seem to be connected to feminism, but it's typically specifically anti-white male
I believe in feminism in the sense that men and women should be treated as equals and have the same life opportunities, but I think modern feminism is getting a bit asinine. I never understand how free-for-all abortion is automatically a women's rights issue. Also, when you have a baby, there are two people involved. Somehow, these liberal feminists seem to believe that women should be responsible for all the child rearing in the sense that child custody and abortion are women's rights issues, and any male involvement is considered patriarchy.
Beautifully written @natured. I agree with your entire take. I'm so tired of this gender battle we have. I want to work with women, learn from them, and live one awesome life. This gender war is silly. We have so much to offer each other. Its about time we stop with the bashing.
Just on the side, i have a question if you don't mind. I always thought before feminism became prominent, that equality would do wonders for both genders. I always thought that giving both men and women equal rights would work like a charm and society would improve ten fold... BUT one thing puzzles me... that this does not seem to be the case.
I notice online and in real life a growing distance between guys and girls and wonder why that in an equal society men and women seem to be at each others throats... i can't make sense of it. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks natured :)
I thought the same thing and i was actually proud that women will be able to speak up but it totally backfired because some women exaggerated instead of ceeping calm they acted wildly and most of them are lesbians... nothing against them i am pro the whole gay community..
I read the whole thing, and I must say it is convincing that it just takes us to raise the white flag sometimes, but honestly, some women are just self proclaimed feminists they are not changing SHIT they are just trying to act TOUGH but as soon as you meet them in person they back off. You are right about every single word but I think it's difficult that people will understand your point of view and some might even consider it Ambiguous.
Overall this is an AMAZING MyTake just like any other. GREAT JOB NATURED i enjoy reading your stuff mostly because of your GIF's describing the situations lol i love it
you people do remember all that boring begatting in the bible? Irad begat Mehujael . Mehujael begat Methusael . Methusael begat Lamech. so one has to consider that Sexism Begat Feminism . you all know what sexism is . sexism is the act of beating women down and dumb . depriving women of their identity . their education . personal rights . and dozens of other begats of brutality and slavery . so after 6000 years of recorded human history only in the last 100 years feminism came about . today millions of men in all world and religious cultures are damn upset about it . i wouldn't call it Feminism VS. Anti-Feminism . try Feminism Is The Consequence Of Sexism . men thrived on 6000 years of gender persecution . MEN should be ashamed of themselves . but you can't tell THEM that . you guys asked for it . cry babies . Anyway a good myTake attempting to seek some sort of balance .
@Mysterioustruth Using illness as a metaphor for the womens movement and feminism is a disgusting metaphor. Cancer is a disease that kills millions of people around the world. Feminism and women's rights do no such thing, except the times women are abused, beaten or murdered by angry and immature people who oppose feminism and women's freedom. You don't use N word or the R word to describe things you disagree with or hate. So why use the C word. I wrote what in my opinion caused feminism. Religious ideologies that have their roots in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, as well as Asiatic and Asia Minor religions and countries. If you can't respond intelligently to that, then don't answer at all. Calling feminism cancer is arbitrary and cruel. Relligious Mankind and Sexism caused Feminism . Not a disease!
look honey feminism have served it's purpose already. We get that women have been badly treated in the past which isn't true but okay fine. But what do you want now. You want us to cut out dick off.
are we really upset at women getting rights? or are we more upset at the fact that radical feminism has taken its role into some western countries enforcing unfair laws against males such as making it illegal for males to approach women in any kind of interaction or the fact that even in california, a bill has been passed that states if a male has sex with a drunk female, its automatically rape and even if it was the other way around, its not. here's the thing, the same men that you say should be ''ashamed of themselves'' or ''asked for it'' are the same males who gave you your ungrateful rights, and fought along side women for their rights and fought for our freedom in wars because they think people like you are worth defending. Im not ashamed of anything, nor do I owe you anything. YOU are the only one who brings shame here. I find it ironic how you spew some of the most illogical scrabble, then at your last sentence you talk about ''balance''.
@Mysterioustruth there is NOTHING you can do for people like that. They are mentally sick in the head, and they can be classed with the same as racists. They both are rooted from the same places. She literally turns her other cheek and calls us cry babies for being born with a penis. Thats like not feeling bad for white people for some crime that their forefathers committed. People like her should be put in a straight jacket and locked away for life.
@applesandoranges22 In your rambling hysteria YOU FAIL to mention that the California law you refer to, SB 967 applies to all California postsecondary schools, public and private, that receive state money for student financial aid. The California State University and University of California systems did back the legislation after adopting similar consent standards. This is to prevent sexual assaults on college campuses. The so-called "yes means yes" consent law was the first in the nation to make affirmative consent language a central tenant of school sexual assault policies. It changed how campus officials investigate sexual assault allegations, and offers aid and funds to prevent college Campus Authorities not to sweep under the rug rape charges. It is a good law for both male and female students on college campus.
As for the rest of your ramblings . i only have to quote YOUR response to someone else from another topic . "you are so brainwashed and its hilarious"
throughout all of that rambling you did not debunk anything from my stance. First, let me start by saying that 1. one university that was on board with this also stated that “withholding sex and affection” and “ignoring the partner’s feelings” is sexual violence. this alone already proves that they are radicals and that is a poison to society. Second, you claim it is to ''help prevent'' the problem on campus when in fact, all a women has to do is claim she was drunk and the man by law, can be jailed for raped even if he didn't know she was drunk. By the way, false allegations are also a BIG problem on and off campus, but then again we are cry babies and you have no remorse for men as you made that known. how exactly is this helping men? another way to avoid this would make drinking or any other type of drug ILLEGAL to have on campus. That would literally eliminate both problems from women trying to make false allegations and men taking a drunk womens word for it.
and on top of all of this, the majority of the time it was the womens irresponsibility that led her to drinking with a guy that later led to sex. rape against someones will is inexcusable, but a women having a drink with a man later agreeing to have sex with him is NOT a valuable argument nor was it ever. you are basically saying that a man, should be more responsible because if it was the other way around the girl wouldn't even be jailed. You are the only brainwashed one here, and you are clearly not right in the head so I won't drag this any further
and thats the problem. you clearly have no remorse for the sole fact of us being men. In your logic, since you are white I should have no remorse for the crimes that your forefathers committed against mine. Therefor, if I saw a white baby on the street who was in desperate need for my help, I would not feel bad. you should be a decent human being.
but then again, you cannot teach people to have remorse or understand basic morality let alone common sense. People like you are easily convinced when a tyrant makes his way to power and tries to sway you to commit crimes against specific groups. Those who know right from wrong, and have some kind of couscous would never have a stance near yours.
@applesandoranges22 are you now mixing apples and oranges . i have no idea what you are talking about . and relative to what . other than to say . my forefathers were both sexist and racist . i don't have remorse for them . i feel terrible sadness for their victims . as an American i resent and condemn that part of my national birth heritage and history .
you are your own person, defined by your own actions. I dont walk around hating you or anyone else for something your ancestors did. I do not show less remorse to somebody because they are a women or a man. I do not owe somebody for something that my ancestors did. I seen another post of yours that had to do with malcom x which makes this 10000x more baffling. Malcom, like you also had resentment for a group of people. My grandfather knew one of malcoms close friends, and at one point was going to come home from the army in Vietnam to join him with his movement. Anyways, long story short he got killed some time after that. Malcom x was killed after he spoke out against the black muslim movement. He realized that he was spending all this time hating his own people which were whites. the same thing with feminists. men are much more similar than you think and the ones who are really causing this are not us. All these groups pin people together. Ever heard the phrase crabs in a bucket?
@applesandoranges22 omg!!! you're comparing me? . a white teenage girl to Malcolm X? . lol now you're really delusional . he was a verbal master at speaking in illustrations. a complex man with an amazing sense of wit . but he never said he "hated" anyone . so if you think my little simplistic comment "you guys asked for it. cry babies" means to you i hate men . then Malcolm must be having the biggest laff in heaven over you . haha . and yeah that would make Malcolm X and me crabs in a bucket . (Lol what an unexpected honor) . i don't think many would agree with you . in stead they'd be laffing in the bucket with Malcolm and me .
yes I am comparing you. if you knew anything about malcom before his conversion from radical islam to the orthodox religion in his trip to mecca you would clearly see how much hatred he had for people who did not share his skin tone. my grandfather, who was half black had all his books, and was angry at what was going on home when he was at war and his philosophies taught to hate the white man until his conversion. I am comparing you because malcom x post 1964 was poisoned by a disgusting man named elijah Mohammad and you both have the same logic. Whether it be hating whites, or hating entire genders. you definitely are crabs in a bucket, fighting and pointing fingers at the most redundant things. Either you keep pointing fingers at those who are not responsible for what has happened or you can get out of your primitive thinking and look to the people who are behind everything
and your little comment shows no remorse for men, as you have even admitted yourself. Why should you have remorse for me? you dont even know me, what have I done to you to deserve to be treated like that? you dont like the fact that I have a y chromosome and I am somehow responsible for your mental sickness? Malcom was a fool who was mislead by a child rapist and a murderer. THis is why he is not celebrated today. When he realized how badly he had been played in mecca where he shared land with people of all color he had finally understood what he was doing wrong and when he came back preaching the truth he was banned from making any speeches, his car was bugged with a bomb and finally he was assassinated because he got out of the mentality that they wanted him in. If he saw you in 1963 or prior to that he would NOT even consider someone worth conversing with.
Grazie !! Balanced take again !! In Western countries there are a lot of man hating , 3 rd wave feminist indoctrinated women , the " media " also constantly bashes men as stupid , useless , sex crazed worthless excreta.
I have encountered a lot of sexism directed at me , from women. , A self proclaimed feminist snarled at me " Men are a cancer that should be cut out ! " without even knowing me , was kicked by a nasty young woman... for holding a door open for her , & have endured evil looks & snide comments from mothers that assumed I'm a sex predator and /or unfit parent for the " crime " of being male !
I am a single dad that works FT. I used to have a great love of women , but now just cold , indifference. I will never hate or be nasty to women , or anyone , just polite , business like & neutral.

"Why can't we just be neutral, and accept each other's flaws as our own, and try to reflect on our behaviour, YES not all MEN ARE AMAZING, but neither are WOMEN..." Honestly, you are the most logical person on the internet at the moment!!! I'm not even kidding what you're saying here is what I'm constantly trying to tell people OMG I just wish they would listen instead of bringing up "But in the past..."

By the way I do have an issue with modern day feminism. Traditional Feminism seemed about empowering women, nowadays its just telling women that they aren't as good, its not empowering its degrading. Also like you said women aren't the only people with issues in this world, men have societal expectations placed on us too!
Thank you so much sweetheart. That is my point and I wish people would understand exactly what you just said. The past is something we cannot control or change so it's useless bringing it up. My mom also suffered a lot from my dad and to be honest i hate him as a man. But this does not mean that everyone is bad and that i blame all male creatures for this.. thank you i appreciate your thought.
Only ignorant people describe feminism in only one sentence. But can you find any similarity between post-colonial feminism, Marxist feminism and Libertarian feminism? Furthermore, can you say that feminism of USA and feminism of Iran are same? Can you say feminism is useless in Uganda? Even in developed countries, like Japan, women are treated unfairly. They are often raped, killed, fired when they get pregnant, and have to take care of her husband's parents. Hahah, the world is not as equal as you think. I hope someday Feminism becomes totally useless, but not today.
Sure, you are very right, I want to quote something from this Take that you maybe have not read or skipped all together,
"Sure, it was way more different in the past, and trust me as a woman, I’d rather live here and now than almost any other point in history.
And I’m not denying the struggles that many girls and women around the world still face, or claiming that mine are equal to theirs, HELL NO!! I would love to help every girl in need that is being oppressed by their father, brother, or husband..."
So basically, I am in knowledge that people suffer differently in every country, It would be not that effective if i Would make a list of different Feminist Ideologies because I know there are different, and each has other views and other goals...
Do you really think feminism is useless in countries like USA? I don't think so. Even I, a woman who was born in an Asian county and living in Asia, think western women are treated well enough they deserve to. Many of them still suffer from sexual crimes and domestic violence. Of course, women in Northern America and Europe are treated better than in Africa and Asia. But I think it is not enough.
lol... Did you even read that I am in knowledge about these issues or are you ignoring my writings? Because I repeat myself, I KNOW everything you say, I also come from a background of oppression and violence, so you think I don't know? Please READ AGAIN ... thank you
I've read, of course. But still, I don't find any reason to read your article seriously. Why only feminism should be treated as an extreme ideology, and be treated like a kind of chauvinism? People call the ideology about gender equality as 'feminism' just because female are treated unfairly, not male. We don't say that the word 'gay rights movement' is inappropriate and have to change it into 'the equality of sexuality movements'. If you support the equality between male and female, you are just a feminist. Why do you think you are not a feminist, and feminists try to discriminate men?
I am none of them :) and obviously you did not read it or else you would understand, but if you have no interest in reading it then I don't think we should discuss any further, even thought I STILL AGREE with you because I look at things from a different angle I accept people's opinions without judging them... It's okay though...
I've read too many articles that argue "Men are treated unfairly too!" "I believe men and women are equal but I am not Feminist.", "Let's just be neutral." and I am now tired of listening to it. Tell me any different points of your article that make me have to read it.
The quote will say everything what I want to say, instead of me. "The hottest place in hell are reserved for those who in the period of morality in crisis maintain their neutrality."
Feminism is a joke why? Because any group with so many definitions is. Women who are feminists are the lowest piece of trash that there is on the planet.
I am still asking myself if you didn't find this interesting why are you still commenting about it? Just let it be and go read something that is more interesting to you... DUH media.giphy.com/media/Mv5F2QkHlxeRa/giphy.gif
Well thought out, and well written. I am an anti feminist my reasons are simply that feminism is not now, nor has it ever been about equality. They then hide behind a dictionary definition that is pure propaganda. Anytime that you point out acts done by large feminist groups that is purely sexist, the standard response is "feminism is equality by definition" trying to shut down the opposition. From its inception feminism has acted as a supremissist group.
"Gender ROLES should never pay an important role in any relationship" Gender roles are probably one of the few things keeping relationships together because people only get into relationships to benefit themselves, why else would they do it. Both men and women want something from a relationship and those things are usually going to differ and when you add all the things most men want and most women want you get gender roles.
In addition many gender roles are really there for the benefit the most vulnerably people in society, children. When we destabilize relationships by making gender roles into "oppression" we are just hurting children and ourselves in the end. I feel like getting out of gender roles is just a way of getting out of an important responsibility we have towards each other and our children.
@t's about to share the equal satisfactions, about to give without expecting to receive something in return... It's about loving to please your Man but also to cook for him, and it's about your Man buying you flowers and to run your bath just for the heck of it, It's about watching a soccer game with him and right after going to the cinema to watch a romantic cry baby movie... without looking at WHAT GENDER DID WHAT AND WHY !!
self refuting... everything said was based on gender roles.
well other things too, but im tired. maybe tomorrow :)
Why do you equate feminism with hating men? I don't hate men. I have nothing against any man until he proves that he's a piece of shit. And that goes for women too. I have a boyfriend, a dad, a brother, several male friends, and I love all of them. Feminism =/= man-hating, in the same way that Christianity =/= the KKK. Me questioning social structures and the power that a lot of men hold =/= hating men.
Yes because you hate the fact that men hold power positions. So what if they do? What does that change in your life. I guess feminism has made women to become very narcissistic and rotten human beens. Get over yourself.
@Mysterioustruth I said that I question it, not that I hate it. It means that there is an uneven representation when it comes to powerful positions (politics etc) and it means that *men* have to make decisions about things that only affect *women*. Which isn't fair. Women should be allowed to decide for themselves, like when it concerns reproductive rights etc. Just like women should not hold the power to make decisions that only affect men greatly, and negatively. An even representation is therefore very much needed. People who are unfit for such positions should not hold that amount of power. Get over yourself, sir. If you are unable to see how certain power structures affect other people's lives, I'd say that you're the one with narcissistic tendencies.
Women shouldn't be allowed to decide for themselves if they aren't qualified to do so. If you want to take decisions go into politics. Questioning the power positions that men hold is in it self very sexist. You shouldn't be worrying about what the gender is but the decision they take.
Okay clown do you realize that men have zero abortion rights? However it's funny how women still want child support. sex ed? get the fuck out outta here with that crap. Easy access to contraceptives? Ever heard of a condom? What are complaining about?
Easy access to sex ed- yes. Easy access to contraceptives- yes. Right to have abortion- they already have this. Moreover, women can get rid of all responsibilities by aborting or giving them for adoption. Men do not have any say in this. If men are given equal reproductive rights, only then can women ask for more.
@Mysterioustruth :OOO maybe because men aren't the ones carrying the fucking baby? Lol. Y'all want to use our biological differences as a way of saying equality will never exist, when it suits you. But god forbid a woman makes a decision that ultimately only concerns her body, and not the man's. Also as a side note, I still think men should have the right to not pay child support if they don't want the kid. So don't make any dumb assumptions. Proper sex ed has shown to reduce the amount of teen pregnancies so no, I will not get the fuck outta here with that crap. Preaching about abstinence in schools is what needs to get the fuck out. Not only are you leaving kids ignorant when it comes to sexual health/sexually transmitted diseases/contraceptives etc, but you're also not doing jack shit to stop them. Abstinence has never worked and never will. Do you even fucking understand what easy access means? That it's a right that shouldn't be taken away. Like planned parenthood offers so many
@Mysterioustruth other services than abortion, but you guys want to defund it anyway because OMF G ABORTIONS!! ! ;( ;( ;( Which means that many women are left without easy access to healthcare, checkups and - you guessed it - contraceptives. Sure you can get it from other places but many women are relying on planned parenthood for a multitude of reasons, not just to get abortions :- ) :- ) so ya know, stuff like that.
@Imhotep99 except that Trump the Fucklord is step by step trying to make it harder for women to get abortions. So there's that. Also read my post above for more fascinating information regarding my stance on certain things.
What i've experienced until now, they expressed deep hatred towards Men who where maybe just holding the door for some girl and jumped to conclusions already that he just wants to get into her panties... by doing one simple gesture, SURE.. I'm not generalizing, because there are different Feminists with different Ideologies as their own...
You said you're not a feminist because you don't hate men in general (and apparently because feminists don't want to ever cook meals for men?) That sounds like quite the generalization to me, unfortunately. Most feminists don't hate men and also don't mind cooking for their man (as long as they're not forced obviously). Feminists aren't inherently opposed to traditional values and roles, the whole point is that everyone should get the freedom to choose whatever path they want, and not feel/be forced into a role they don't want to take. Which includes traditional paths. The core of feminism is freedom of choice. The image of feminism you portrayed in your take is a very narrow-minded and outdated POV of it, that only ignorant people perpetuate simply because they don't understand feminism. And have listened to too many extremists.
I guess I was unlucky because everytime I met a feminist, they where extreme, I hate generalizing, and i tried to find an understanding, and I DO understand that their movement is something we need to fix this world, but until now, I never met a feminist that is actually on a peaceful path, until now, they bashed my "old school" theories, calling me an idiot, introduce me to a Feminist that accepts my Ideas without calling me an Idiot or IGNORANT, and well be fine :)
I'm fine with your views and I'm sorry, but thinking all (or even most) feminists hate men is very ignorant. A lot of feminists *are* even men so it wouldn't make sense to hate men? Maybe if you don't want to be called ignorant, don't go around calling people hateful when they're not.
Great mytake. And its true, i would like to hear what women have to say, men also. We dont need feminism for that, we can just talk to each other. I would understand women better if i listen to them instead of feminism. We should not let feminism cause a divide between us men and women.
Great take... I mean men are no worse than women, and women are no worse than men.. I would say people just need to let go of these extreme ideas about each other.. But until the weird ends.. It most likely won't stop.. Really we need to get rid of labels period... I'm not against feminism, but I'm not for modern day feminism.. Lol..
it was really a well collaboration of thoughts. I feel proud to have such a lovely and intelligent person as my friend. On your side on this take. we need more of these in the world. It is about freedom for individual with the sense of respect for others' freedom.
I do agree with you on the majority of your statements but there are a few items which I think should be pointed out.
1. QUOTE: "Men also do have the right to speak up for themselves, because they are being BASHED MORE AND MORE"
-This is why you SHOULD be against feminism. Feminism is a hate group at its core. It uses the definition which states "equality", but none of its actions ever support that claim. Your freedom to vote, work, and own property, came long before feminism.
2. QUOTE "Women may have a few obstacles that men don’t" Western Women actually have fewer obstacles than men and more help and benefits than men.
But all in all, It's nice to see females who can see through the feminist bullshit. The only part of this that I don't agree with is "disagreeing with anti-feminist" as I believe hate groups should be criticised and ridiculed.

quotes like this ''Women may have a few obstacles that men don’t'' which you have posted is what urks a lot of men. who is that person to say they have more obstacles than me? do they know what I went through or what I go through on a daily basis? men have is SO EASY to people like that. Thats why we take offense to a lot of feminists. Its just the overall undermining and hardships that other people face while saying ''look at me im a victim!'' and on top of all this, they make men who also have obstacles seem like the bad guy which gives us MORE obstacles.

im not saying I disagree with you. But that quote just didn't fit in with what you were saying. ANything else is ok with me
Antifeminism, feminism whatever, the hostility between men and women needs to stop, if we all just take a breath and listen to try understand each other, I think things would be better for everyone.
Side-note: I wish you would say giving 100/100 instead of 50/50 :- P
Haha one thing I know about woman is that they tend to be talkative :D And you write lots of (very nice) my takes so you're "a real woman"! That is absolutely meant as a compliment :D :D
