It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

Have you ever found yourself bullied because you don't follow a popular trend or talk to certain people? Are you constantly being attacked because of your racial preferences in dating? Are you discriminated solely because of your religious orientation, and do people attack you for differing general and political beliefs to influence you to change yours?

It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

Ladies and gents, to have an opinion on something makes you different from the rest. It makes you more unique from the others as far as interests in anything goes. However in life, you will meet people who will disagree with your views, because they have a different view of morals and their view on life, depending on their personal experiences and inspirations. However, just as they have their own, you have your own.

Racial Preferences and Partner Images

You may find the popular belief that white men are absolutely obsessed with Asian women, and that white women fetishize black men. However, you may also find yourself in discovery that people will have an image of who they find attractive, and what their race/body image would appear to be, and this shouldn't be anything to be concerned about.

It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

However, problems only arise if you are at risk of offending or disgusting someone based on your views of the opposite sex. Latina women for example may not necessarily appreciate being targeted for race, for their bodies. If you wish to date someone and have it flourish into a relationship, you're going to have to find her personality interesting before then.

Interests

It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

You may not necessarily be interested in what everyone else around you has. The shoes that the popular kids wear, and the games most people play may not be of a concern to you. Do you really need to be spending time and money to be able to attempt to please another group of people?

In life, popularity is of no concern. It does not matter if you have the best looking clothes on, or have the most trending items such as those fidget spinners. Hobbies and music preferences are no different.

Religious Beliefs and Sexual Orientation

You may disagree with this, however I am an atheist, and I have my own set of morals and values, just as all religions do. Before life ends, you are bound to meet someone whose beliefs differs from yours. Please don't attempt to convert them to a certain religion if their beliefs do not match yours!

It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

Personally speaking, I have a brother who is bisexual. Before I knew, he was the same person, and after I found out, he was just the same. Although the religions have different sets of morals according to the holy books and that certain individuals have different attractions to others by gender, it doesn't have an effect on the person you've previously met before or would meet, if he were to be from the religion or sexual orientation that you're attempting to convert them to.

Political and Societal Beliefs

It's Fine to Have Different Beliefs!

Once, I had witnessed a black teenager discuss opinions about president Trump and his favoritism for more conservative views. Unfortunately, he had been bullied for the rest of the school year, and I witnessed another on YouTube with another black man politically arguing with another black teenager, calling him a disgrace to America for being a young black man "supporting a racist". The thing is, they don't necessarily feel the same way about the candidates that they vote for based off of their personal morals to life, and because of that, they aren't going to feel the same emotion that you do against the people/views you are referring to. It does not mean that these views are bad or immoral!

And finally,.. you will find people wanting men to pay for dates or women refusing sex before their comfortable. You will also find people believing that men and women should be equal based off their gender equality, or that all gender roles should always be in play. You may disagree, but you'll have to keep an open mind as to why others have those beliefs if you're going to attempt to hear yours.

Now personally, I live my life as an atheist without any racial preferences in the people I talk to. I have my own set of moral beliefs, just like every other person has theirs.

There is no need for you to change in order for you to impress other people.
