Objectification is wrong if the person being objectified finds it to be wrong and feel personally affected by it.

But I personally find it stupid to get insulted by people who willingly objectify themselves being rightfully objectified.
I'm not them, I wouldn't behave like they do so I don't see why any of it should concern me.

I think the difference is most guy wouldn't mind this at all, even like it, were women don't (so they say). You're right though, it should go both ways. I've never really be objectified by women, but I'd like to be honestly lol. We guys like to feel physically desired to and we often don't get that at all from women.

Women just don't like it when the majority of men do it.

Be hot, or a thug, and objectify them, and they'll fuckin love you for it and want more.

The difference is that men love it and don't bitch and whine about it. If women didn't have such a screwed up view of sex, there wouldn't be all these issues. Most men would love to be objectified and used for sex.

I happen to think women are worse just men are more open and bold about it

Females are definantly more subtle about that. But when it does happen they are a pack of wild wolves lol

Of course men are sexually objectified as well. Humans are sexual creatures. Let's stop pretending we aren't. And let's stop acting like it's wrong.

Sure, there's a bit of a double standard here. But as a white male, I think this is much more the exception than the rule. It's true you're not seeing feminists call this out, but the reality is, if this was 3 sexy women, there would be 100x more sexual comments, and much, much worse content.

It's true. I was looking at the picture of those police officers thinking, "dang they're hot cops." Shame on me. 😂

Of course. Ever been to the strip club? Men try and talk smack about strippers, but their the ones laughing all the way to the bank because men stupidly throw money and get nothing in return. Strippers are not prostitutes.

"Sexually Objectified", it's a pointless term. It means nothing, so what we are all human. We like to see what attracts us. But no one looks at a hot girl (or guy in a girls case) and sees them as just an object. No guy is looking at the playboy cover and thinking "look at that its just a sexual object" lol. Literally no one thinks that. It such a dumb term, and now it has become mainstream.

Women are just as bad as men with this now. And we have just as much pressure to look good. And perform sexually. And make tons of money lalala. She's always a swipe away from a better option. Don't fool yourself

The "make tons of money" comes from men themselves. Not women.
The same as being labelled a slut is an insult mainly women use, not men.

Ah, so the equivalent of a Myki card that's been prepaid for the year. Only students can do that here.(Myki cards are how us in Vic pay for public transport)

I don't see anything wrong with with that, no point wasting money on transport if you can get it cheaper.

Well , as nice and true as this is , it really doesn't matter anylonger. there's some good women left that have morals and values as great women , but not to many. The same could be said about men too. The gender division will never be supplimented with anything else but a great divide between the two. One thing i can contest to as being a man , when a man (Hates something , he takes that hatred to the grave ) .

All I can say is that, in today's society, the first female to report me for sexual harassment will receive the favor of being heard of. Considering that seriously, him asking her out on a date is considered sexual harassment. But her asking (me) "hey wanna fuck me" is considered a way of saying "i like you". Oh how that makes me love females.

sexual objectification of men is not nearly enough addressed than it should be. we are not living, breathing, talking sex machines some women think we are. this actually is sometimes the cause in performance anxiety in men. they believe they should be the sex machines some women sometimes want them to be. we are just humans.

I think as a society we're all too sensitive. Individually speaking, I don't see anything wrong with a little innuendo. On a much larger scale, it becomes an issue. When people in power or corporations objectify women/men, it has far more impact on the sheep out there. I feel that people can talk this way and still respect the opposite gender. But, when someone or something with power and influence speaks this way, it can change perception.

I found their comments to be disappointing, yes, but some were too good to be mad at lmao.

"I wish I were Irma so they could work on me" and "bad enough you could bend me over the hood and frisk me" was amazing

Yep double standards. I don't think it's bad girls made those comments. It's "bad" when one group is perceived as the victim (to pc delusional society).

In fairness it is human nature to be attracted to a certain type of person. A guy will always look at what they find themselves physically and sexually attracted to and women will do the same.

There is no issue in that.

The issue is when the line is crossed and you fuck someone over... that is my view. Looks do not last.

Sexualising and objecting people, that has always been normal.

Maybe in a different way. Women don't have the same visual stimuli as men do. We men have these visual stimuli to check if the woman is healthy and ready to bear a child. For that reason men are way more visual.

I agree both sexes do it. It doesn't matter who does it, it's rude. There are very few who find it flattering.
