People are very unforgiving, especially in the court of public opinion; people have down some minor things and have been crucified for it. For example, an Army General did not receive his third star for calling a congressional staffer, "Sweetheart."
For people that actually knew someone that committed suicide, it was extremely offensive. Imagine you had a parent or sibling or friend kill themselves, and then imagine watching that video. From that perspective, I think you’ll understand.
I've attempted suicide myself. I understand it. But read my points. 22-year-olds do very stupid things. He was probably still in shock when editing and lacked proper judgment. A truly terrible ridiculous mistake, for which he has apologized for. He's certainly not a good person but everyone makes huge mistakes, especially in the eye of the camera.
Most people these days would take a picture of someone in an accident and post it on social media before helping the victim. So what he did... I'm sure hundreds of thousands of people would have also done the same. the overreaction to his video has been absolutely ridiculous.
He's just doing what other people do in the media, but because he's popular on YouTube it makes him an easy target to attack. News corporations show 'EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE' of natural disasters, plane crashes etc, all for the purpose of generating views and money for their station. Do you get mass hate campaigns towards them every time they do it? Nope.
The issue is, he has millions of VERY young fans (some younger than 10 years old), and he uploaded that video without considering how seeing something like that would impact them. Or maybe he did consider it but didn’t care. He did it for money. That’s why he should pay consequences. He’s everything wrong with society today.
And by the way, I knew better when I was 22. Most of my friends did too. Hopefully you will also.
this seems like it's getting personal so I'm just going to say that I hate Logan Paul and that i usually write Takes about things i don't believe in because they are controversial and i love arguing with people. Yes, Logan Paul isn't a BAD person but he's not a good one. He's done some really shit things. But shh, I'm here for the debate;)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Logan Paul videos. The humour is extremely subtle & without a solid grasp of metaphysical philosophy most of the jokes will go over a typical viewers head. There's also Logan's provident thinking, which is to prevent people from committing suicide from fear that they would end up in a Logan Paul vlog. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Logan Paul truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Logan Paul's genius wit unfolds itself on their computerscreens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Logan Paul tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
@Volvagia i don't think you need a high IQ to understand the humour. I know some people with very high IQ's would wouldn't understand at all. You just need to not be butthurt, and to not care about political correctness. You need to stop giving a shit about every little thing. Logan is smart and successful and funny. I don't enjoy his videos but I understand why others do. I have massive respect for that guy.

if you go that far to get views, then yes i do think it's fair to say you're a bad person. you can always improve and get better but at the moment he decided to put that video up he was a bad person. no way to argue against that.

I, as a proud Logan Pauler completely agree we Logan's choices. For one, the man was clearly not wearing any merch and therefore was not a true fan of our Lord and Saviour.
