Because, all humans make mistakes or take the wrong choices (sometimes shit happens, because no none can be always wise enough) . The difference is that when a woman makes a wrong decision by getting with some male jerk, then fortunately the said jerk is going to be punished, both by law and society, plus many come to her rescue (even strangers to her). When a man happens to make the same mistake. then no one cares and he has to face it mostly all by himself, on top of that the female jerk equivalent rarely gets punished.
That's why male abuse almost never gets the time of the day.

Thats true, I agree 100%. I just do not get abusive relations either male or female. There are lots of early warning signs, and when help is given, its just someone telling you to end the relationship, but the abused man or woman keeps going back?

Yes, of course me too, I've never been in a situation like that. That's why personality matters. But not all people are the same. Since you are 24 years old you might know already for sure, that some people, males/females are such good actors pretending they are the best characters around that manage to persuade even the most socially people to give them a chance and that's where the "adventure" begins. As you said you've never been in that kind of an abusive relationship and I believe that you try to make good character choices, the same goes for me. But, what I've realized is that it's part good choices from us part a little bit of luck also. Unfortunately some other people might not had that little boost of luck back in the day.
