Why should we be equal? The thing is its not about money or pride. The thing that bugs me out on this topic is woman want equality only when its favourable to them (at least most of the time in my country). Also depends if you are normal person who thinks with their brain or if you are a 3rd wave feminist. So anyway. I rarely hear women advocationg for something like mining in quary or something. I dont hear them at garbage collectors, sewer services. You want to be equal? Yeah then go on and take these jobs too. I 100% agree that payment payed for hour of work lets say in office should be same. But if you are paid for weight transported, cargo loaded or anything it should be payed the same by which i mean by cargo servised. So equality is good but make it fair and dont give advantage... sorry for bad English, not my native language. Have a good one
The problem is feminism just spent the past 6 years putting down everything masculine and tearing men down like dogs. #metoo was literally the last straw for even men who considered themselves feminists. At this point men have had enough. I keep seeing posts like this and it's hilarious. You've all pushed men away and now want us back? Nope, doesn't work like that. You're all strong independent warrior queens. Go fight your own fucking battles.
Here in NYC men aren't flirting much or going to night clubs and feminists were actually complaining that clubs started charging women for drinks and have ended "ladies free" nights. Now feminists are demanding men flirt and date them again? But... but... aren't all men rapists and all flirting is a form of sexual harassment?

Feminism is cancer and is harming women more then helping them today. It used to be great, but right now it just fucks with everyone. It has created an insane inequality against Men.
Men has always been the weaker gender, the disposible ones. The ones who risk our lives for the women. Men have given women EVERYTHING they have today.
Feminsts want equality of outcome which is the opposite of equality. Also most women does NOT identify as feminist as they understand how bad it is for society.

Well, I believe in equal rights for all people, regardless of age, gender, race, etc. And truth be told, here in the USA, we already have that parity - at least on paper. In reality, I support women - I don't support the modern franchise of feminism... It has been hijacked by misandrists and used to push a hateful batch of falsehoods, misrepresented statistics and even outright lies.
I have a grown daughter. I have 4 amazing nieces - 2 of them are adults. We taught our women to take charge of their lives. Own their fails and earn their successes. Modern feminism wants to teach them that they are victims... They disagree.
How about you just cut my blls/dk off? Really what feminists need is to eliminate men and keep a few around for enforcement and sewage cleaning. No we don't need any more emasculated men. Feminists don't care about men's rights anyway, in fact they often downplay them and they protest against men's rights activists who only exist because feminism doesn't help men at all. Men don't tend to see themselves as victims either, or at least they don't like to, so in trying to encourage them to see themselves as victims you're trying to sell them something that they mostly don't want to buy in the first place.
Very few women get it - you hit the nail on the head. What's funny to me is that these women want more male feminists without listening to and trying to understand the way men think.

I am a male feminist and I think that because of extremist feminists the title gets the wrong idea so when someone says feminist, they aren't sure what you mean by it ^_^

Bro, let me tell ya. Years ago, I thought quite similar. Women aren't special. Neither are men. I just want true equality and THAT'S IT. Meaning women can have opportunities equally but insurance rates are SAME for both genders. Men should be able to cook, clean, and take care of kids, while women work and vice versa. And women should be able to do handyman stuff like repairing roofs or toilets. Men should be able to get custody of children if deserved and women should have to sign up for selective service, as well as be able to serve front line combat if they want to/qualify. NOBODY should pay for both in dating. Each should pay their own shit, and LASTLY a MAJOR improvement would be, WOMEN should ask MEN out. WOMEN should ask MEN to marry. And WOMEN should be the one to encourage sex if any. THEY are the ones who most often deal with rape/pregnancy, so let THEM filter people. No more expecting men to do it!

My thing is, if I marry a girl (that's IF I marry at all!), I WANT her to be feminist! But REAL feminist. The reason is simple. Independence. Real feminists are simply going to be more independent and not dependent on you for anything, ready to do anything and everything. While I hate the hypocritical feminists and extremists, they technically aren't even feminists at all. @ENTP_EMO I knew that there would be quite a bit of friction on this subject and it is an awfully difficult thing to talk about <3 I won't make an assumption because I haven't been abroad so I will just stop at the fact there are good feminists and then there are fake "Feminists"
I suppose I'm a feminist, but only because I don't want to take care of anyone. I expect everyone to be as self reliant as I am.
Thing is, though, the minute you all yourself a feminist, 2 groups attack you: Men like some of the commentators down there calling you weak or a cuck or beta and Women who assume you're just lying or like a wolf in sheeps clothing or something.
And THEN there is the issue that even though I think I'm a feminist, it seems like any movement keeps getting more and more extreme and lemme tell you, I will not be riding this thing out to the extreme end. y'all get equality but nothing more. I will become your enemy if I need to.
For me male circumcision high lights how women have greater rights then men in contemporary society. If society doesn't protect baby boys from harm, then you can say society just doesn't care about male rights. How we treat babies and children is the benchmark of how we treat all humans. and to deny this is to being an accomplice to the violations of human rights. This is why I don't want anything to do with feminism, or feminists. Feminists have put themselves as priority over babies boys and that disgusts me. I'm sorry I have such strong words, but never.
I am an egalitarian. Most feminist believe that there is inequality against women in everything. Feminism as an ideology does not acknowledge that there is inequality against men too.
In the end, I want a world where a little girl or little boy who is growing up in any city in the world can say that whatever they envision themselves to become, and whatever they are willing to work for, and whatever they are willing to risk failure for so they can have as equal as an opportunity to obtain as any one else.
My ideology is that women should have as many equal resources as men, such as wage and better portrayal, other than being an object of sex. That said, unfortunately not everything will be equal, especially with gender stereotypes lying around and a decent amount of women still adhering to such stereotypes. Another example is that men cannot necessarily comprehend what women have to go through, such as pregnancy, periods, and being constantly stared by creeps around. I do agree with your statement that following the first and second feminists waves is a good idea. But the third wave feminists, which might as well be misandrists, are really unhealthy for the name of true feminists. Finally, I will do whatever it takes to be a feminist and to support women. After all, I have two little sisters and a lot of my female friends who need my support. Also, this is coming from a hetero Asian American male if that is of any concern.

From how it is meant feminism is nothing about mens rights and we should all know women do also have "privileges" over men and men also have problems in this world it's not only women. I did see that you took up that men struggle to express emotions but expressing emotions is a personal choice to be honest. That's why women should be more egalitarian. I have NEVER thought that women were not at least equals!! What bothers me is the label: Feminism. Too many degrading, judging connotations associated with that, for both men, and women!
I grew up with my grandmother, as the Matriarch of our family, and she was very clear on how a 'gentleman' should respect, honor, and treat a 'Lady'.

Why would any guy be a feminist? Its a moment that tries to rob femininity from girls and then blame guys for there misery if they fail to be like guys. Feminism isn't about women's issues anymore, and its about creating inequality specifically to put men down. There are much better movements to take part in.
