Feminism is now an extreme form of terrorism on the male gender, the word equality does not come into the equation anymore, its a serious issue that is continuing to emotionally damage men. If all men reported the emotional abuse, i can only predict it would be as high as 60% in a population. Feminism's 1st-2nd waves already accomplished its great goals. The 3rd onward is nothing but victim-mentality, misandry, and hypocritically self-serving while ignoring (even amplifying) any serious imbalances harming the other half of the population. How will it help to teach your daughter how to be a victim with no regard for preventative/defensive countermeasures? If you have a son, will it help to teach that he's only an oppressor and doesn't deserve the right to self-defense? To encourage your daughter to academic excellence while your son… meh, he's male. No, teach them BOTH to excel, be good people, be proactive in safety (avoid trouble, never hit to express emotions, to defend proportionally & justly), back each other up, harness soft & hard power. Teaching these is more productive & equal then teaching them feminist ideology.

Most feminists aren't radical, actually. It's just the loudest ones are. Trust me, I've had to deal with those kinds of people. It might seem like they're the majority because they're the ones that tend to pick fights, and thus, you remember. But most women you talk to do want equality between men and women, but aren't radical.
I would say I'm considered a feminist, although I use the label egalitarian, as that hasn't developed the same negative stereotypes that feminist has. Personally, I focus on less developed countries, such as those in the middle east and africa.
