America just went to another side , first it was overly thin models and now its overly fat models. There is no in between or average woman. This is what happens when people are excluded for so long and not shown positive balances but just one extreme after the next.
I think the blue swimsuit chick ain't that bad. Chubby is fine. Even a bit overweight. But obesity is a disease.
I sorta agree with you. I understand they want to make women comfortable - a noble cause i guess, or maybe just so the industry can seem more "inclusive" and then they can make more money. But Tess is just obese. Its not like she can't control her diet. Obesity shouldn't be celebrated, things like this are why Americans have such a high obesity population.
Her face isn't bad, but her obesity and tattoos are disgusting. I'm across the line for obese by doctor's standards, but she's got to be way beyond it. She makes me look skinny (I'm 6'3 1/2" and tend to weigh around 270, which is a good 70-100 pounds too heavy, but I have physical challenges that make exercise abnormally painful (as in beyond the pain of a normal person)).
Thank you finally a woman who sees my point exactly as I been thinking it. Ashley graham is a true plus size model, curves in the right places. The fat woman that wasn’t plus size at all. If anything I feel sad for her because she suffers from a lot of depression and loneliness so she eats to cope with it. Something traumatic must have happened in her life for her to get that way. What she doesn’t realize though is she’s eating herself to her grave

I'd personally be pissed, because a magazine is good wanking material in the office bathrooms. So I wouldn't spend money on that issue.

Body positivity only affects those who have the traditionally unhealthy bodies. Those people who get fit or lose fat as a result of discipline and hard work are shamed by this movement. That's the biggest problem of the Body positivity movement.

AG is not stunning (I’ve met her). She is average. If she was not plus size, she wouldn’t even be a model cuz her face is not that pretty. Her jaw is weird. I personally think it’s her face that keeps her from VS (and well, the fact that she is not their demographic). Even if VS does start getting more diversity in body size, I don’t think it will be her. It would be Robin Lawley.
fitness models and Adriana Lima are some of the ideal types. Negin Mirsalehi (instagrammer) and @hariya (instagrammer) are pretty good too.
I actually think Ashley Graham has the prettiest face out of all of them, (and her body is amazing). She's probably the most attractive cover model right now-possibly of all time.

I just looked up Cara Delevigne, and her face is actually... below average. To be blunt, quite ugly.
The Hadid sisters are somewhat cute, but I don't think their face (or body) is near as good as Ashley Graham.
We just have completely different opinions on what a pretty face looks like.
@EnglishArtsteacher no most population agrees that AG only made it due to plus size “boom”. she looks like a washed out soccer mom. Most plus size models have a fat ugly non-high fashion face. High fashion face is like Cara, Hadid sisters, devon Windsor, Adriana Lima, Candace Swanepoel, Kaia Gerber.
AG’s jaw is fucking ugly, and she is not toned at all. It’s gross.
Maybe most of the population disagrees with me, but that doesn't stop the fact I find Ashley's face exceptionally attractive.
