The Difference in Wages Between Men and Women

This is more of an update to a Mytake I did a few days ago regarding the declining birthrate in the US and came to the conclusion that it was largely in part to Caucasians not having kids as the fertility rate of other races in the US are acceptably high and Caucasians making up 60% of the populations.

The cause of lowered birthrates

As a result many were asking what the cause of this decline could be with many bringing up the theory that the populations is declining due to women getting a higher education which is a WHOLE bucket of fish in and of itself. But recently a new study has come to light that may actually provide a more legit answer.

Goes into details about why the wage gap is so wide between men and women, with the common theory simply being that men are getting paid more cause "Chauvinism"

It's an interesting read and i actually suggest you take the time to read it but basically it concludes that pay gaps between men and women are insignificant and in some cases flat out wrong as in some cases women actually get paid much more then men. But the reality there are 2 reasons why the pay gap is so wide and why it will likely forever remain unequal, and not for the reasons you might think.

Men work way more hours on average and take more risks

Conservative women exist.

Men tend to be more willing to take risks for high reward and work harder for larger payoffs as a result they are more likely to work longer as well as take much more dangerous jobs, while a lot of women will opt for more part time work which gets even common once a woman gets married.


Not to mention that many women who are conservative willingly choose to remain housewives which makes closing the pay gap between men and women basically impossible.

This basically leaves women with 1 of 3 choices

Either

1. Surrender any notion of having a family in exchange for a successful career path

2. Abandon career ambitions in order to raise a family.

3. Somehow convince your husband to give up his career ambitions and be a stay at home dad.(With this basically being the only way the woman can both have a family and a career, which honestly with how thankless things are these days is probably easier then you would think.)


Either way i feel we are seeing this play out in real time, Caucasian women pretty much giving up the idea of having families to peruse careers leading to lower population growth as far as Caucasians are concerned.

The sad truth is, you can't have a functioning family unless someone is willing to stay home and hold down the fort, exactly who does it is irrelevant.
