I will say: When was a man killed in the name of honour or shamed for giving birth to a daughter? When was a pregnant woman forced to have a abortion just because she was expecting a son? When did a man get arrested for not wearing the hijab?
I still dont get it im just a simple boy trying to go by me days not knowing politics and because of that when i see something like this i dont know if i should take one side or the other or just be neutral because i dont get why we can't all just live
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy. Pakistanis justified Asma Aziz being tortured just because she was a party girl. They troll Pakistani actresses for wearing short clothes. Honour killings, domestic abuse, forced marriages, acid attacks, rapes, harassment are a big problem in Pakistan but the bigger problem is shaming victims. Shaming women is the root cause of honour killings, domestic abuse, rapes and harassment. Islamic extremists think any woman who has her head uncovered or has a white skin, doesn't deserve respect. In Iran, non-Hijabis are attacked in public. Patriarchy gave birth to female infanticide, honour killings, domestic abuse and forced marriages.
Talking about women's issues is fine, those things are definitely fucked up and as a woman you know all about them. It's just women talking about stuff about men and the way men think/feel that's annoying because you don't know.
You don't understand the way men think, how we process feelings differently. Women have this thing where they think that men are just like women with our emotions but that we hold back because of societal pressure, when really we're just very different. For example women like to talk a lot about feelings, that's how they deal with them, by venting. For men usually this feels like a huge waste of time, instead we prefer practical solutions to whatever our problems are.
So for example, I'm a guy who suffered with severe depression, to the point where I was suicidal. Most people would say that I should talk about it. I was given counselling and stuff like that. How much did that help me? It didn't. Talking about it was a waste of time for me, it didn't fix the problem. Instead, I figured out practical solutions: eating the right foods, getting better sleep, exercising more, getting out more, having things to work towards/goals.
Like people often say, when women complain about things they often don't want you to butt in and give solutions, and find it annoying if you do. Instead they just want to talk and emote. Men are the complete opposite. That's why we're not as emotionally expressive as women.
It also all has to do with hormone levels and things like that, hormones don't only change our appearances but also the way we think. As do our very different experiences.
Rape isn't a result of patriarchy. Society is less patriarchal than it was 100 years ago, and rape hasn't decreased. Abolish patriarchy and you still have the same amount of rape. There is no relationship between the two.
When was a man killed in the name of honour or shamed for giving birth to a daughter? When was a pregnant woman forced to have a abortion just because she was expecting a son? When did a man get arrested for not wearing the hijab? Those things happen because of patriarchy.
@Twenty2, I get it BABY BOY, you're a crybaby AND a moron. You act like a BABY BOY, you will be called a BABY BOY. So, stop acting like a baby boy, baby boy.
UK is is shit. There more asshole on any other countries. Society is all about social media in the UK. Every girl that I did met in college all drama queen and mean girls. Boys in college always play with feel. It not better it worst.
You can live in a country where female infanticide and honour killings are still prevalent. If you were in India or China, you would have been aborted without your mother's permission because people prefer sons and daughters. Or you would have been shot or abandoned before the age of 5 because daughters are treated like a burden. You would have been married off before the age of 18 because of parents who treat daughters like a burden. And then you would have had to live with your abusive husband just to have two meals a day and a roof over your head. You would have killed for having a boyfriend, no love marriage, education, job. Even after getting raped, people would have blamed your clothes.
When was a man killed in the name of honour or shamed for giving birth to a daughter? When was a pregnant woman forced to have a abortion just because she was expecting a son? When did a man get arrested for not wearing the hijab?
Patriarchy my fucking ass. Stop your tit-for-tat nonesne. In countries where little girls and female newborns are killed it's WOMEN who push for it just the same. Female genital mutilation is almost always pushed by the mother in Africa and the Middle East because they think it looks "cleaner". In Asia it's WOMEN who love being in families with lots of men because WOMEN believe men bring more wealth to the family and that girls are just deadweight to marry off into another family. Do some research before talking shit. My family comes from a country where when girls are born it's almost always the mom who feels disappointed where fathers in turn LOVE their daughters.
Where my family is from Grand MOTHERS are also another group that jump for joy when they see boy is born but catch and attitude and never have the same energy when grand daughter is born. For you to say female infanticide is because of men shows you're a really young 3rd wave feminist who has NO IDEA what you're talking about.
So when do we get to see a take on toxic femininity? (Answer: never, because men don't pretend to understand women or how they define femininity among themselves.

The fact is when Men are not Masculine they get attacked by Society.
You can say all this about toxic Masculinity, But then all you Girls go straight to the Confident Guy, That is why there is so much toxic Masculinity.
Oh no here we go with toxic masculinity. I need to write an article about how dangerous masculinity is & how I'm the victim to violence 😒
I'd like to see a panel discussion of "toxic masculinity" between Islamists and third wave feminists. Would be interesting.
Would be really interesting indeed. Don't forget the umbrella If you are watching in in the First row.
@bill_towers: No kidding!
and you will grab a popcorn to get entertained. Am I a clown in a circus?

😶i dont fully get it
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.

Agree one hundred percent. Thank you.

this post is toxic femininity
I will speak against female infanticide, honour killings, domestic abuse, forced marriages, acid attacks, rapes and harassment.
I wish people who don't have dicks would stop talking about masculinity and how men think/feel as if they even have a clue.
honour killings and female infanticide.
Men also talk about women's clothes and shame victims.
Talking about women's issues is fine, those things are definitely fucked up and as a woman you know all about them. It's just women talking about stuff about men and the way men think/feel that's annoying because you don't know.
what I don't know about men? Release your feelings.

Well, Feminists brought the whole Patriarchy thing into the public eye in the early 1970's, and the amount of rape dropped significantly.
contemporaryfamilies.org/.../
but it is because of patriarchy that those rape victims are shamed for wearing short clothes.
When was a man killed in the name of honour or shamed for giving birth to a daughter?
When was a pregnant woman forced to have a abortion just because she was expecting a son?
When did a man get arrested for not wearing the hijab? Those things happen because of patriarchy.
The only toxicity that we’re experiencing is a lack of masculinity.
Liberals are even more toxic
liberals don't do honour killings and female infanticide.
However they ostricize anyone who's not in the minority
Also "toxic masculinity" isn't real. It's just a word feminists made up to belittle men.
They kill babies so I wouldn't know about no killings
Killing babies has nothing to do with with masculinity
I was commenting on her comment lol
Liberals don't even let babies come in this world irrespective of gender. Yeah! I get your point that they aren't sexist.
You're one sad little butthurt boy, baby boy.
@Herelbe You are going insane old man if you think a 19 year old is a BABY BOY in any way!
Yeah they support infanticide of everyone not just females its called abortion.
@Twenty2, I get it BABY BOY, you're a crybaby AND a moron. You act like a BABY BOY, you will be called a BABY BOY. So, stop acting like a baby boy, baby boy.
@Twenty2, you all growed up, eh? How CUTE of you to think so.
They do. You just have no idea.

How the fuck is not asking for directions toxic? time wasting maybe but I wouldn't go as far as toxic.
It seems to be an American thing because I can't relate to these things as a European.
And again, somehow, even when we're pointed as victims, it's still our fault and we end up being the villains.
When was a man killed in the name of honour or shamed for giving birth to a daughter?
When was a pregnant woman forced to have a abortion just because she was expecting a son?
When did a man get arrested for not wearing the hijab?
They cry when they lose money
Wish they cried about female infanticide, honour killings, domestic abuse, forced marriages, acid attacks, rapes and harassment.
very good take par mujay jada samj nahi aya😝
Glad to hear you are still alive.
yehi samaj loh ke agar mene likha toh sahi baat he likhi hogi
mujhay bhi samaj main nahi aya ke kiya likha hai, aisa lagta hai ke kisi daru ya chars karke likhi hai? Lekin phir bhi featured ho gaye!
Oh... gee... another long winded bullshit post about men being bad. what a surprise..
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.

Boo hoo, you need to find more productive things in life to dwell on.
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.
So when do we get to see a take on toxic femininity?
(Answer: never, because men don't pretend to understand women or how they define femininity among themselves.
honour killings and female infanticide only happen to women.
You still blame men that’s all you women can do you tried but you couldn’t do it
