Open Borders? Here Is Why No Country Should Consider It!

As someone who wants to migrate to the US due to my country not having many opportunities as far as what i want to do goes, i would never consider going into "any" country illegally. I would much rather work on getting the requirements needed and passing the whole process to then be granted a Visa. I wouldn't want to be or live in a country knowing that homeland security tracks my ass.

Even i find the idea of having open borders a no brainerπŸ™„. There are consequences that follow when having open borders. I shouldn't even have to explain this. This should be common sense lol

Borders are political boundaries. They separate countries, states, provinces, counties, cities, and towns. A border outlines the area that a particular governing body controls. The government of a region can only create and enforce laws within its borders.

Now let us look at what the intent of the borders (walls/barriers) were meant for, and the consequences or risks that come with not having any borders.

#1 Illegal immigrants crossing the borders. This is a common and obvious one. If there were no borders, you would have people just storming in. The problem with this is that you don't really know what you're letting in, especially if there is no control. I will explain further.

#2 You risk letting in terrorists. just so i don't stereotype, but every country has its OWN terrorists to deal with, if they have any. My country doesn't. We have robbers, speed demons, abusers, but we haven't dealt with anything in the form of actual terrorism, ever.

#3 Sex/Human trafficking. With open borders you will have even more instances of sex and human traffickers coming in and out. That's not to say that there won't be any control at the borders, but this still makes it easy for them to go through and such.

#4 Drug/Weapon trade/trafficking. Again, this is not to say that there won't be any control at the border, but this most definitely makes things easier for the Drug lords (Cartels). They already have and can find ways to trade drugs in and out, now imagine them doing so with there being no borders.

#5 Chaos Erupting. Even with an open border you can expect chaos to erupt. Because you can already imagine the hundreds upon thousands of migrants wanting to come in. You just won't be able to have everything in order. Surely things will go out of hand. Rubber bullets already are bad, now imagine them starting to use real bullets due to things getting so out of hand.

#6 The Infected. If you ever want a zombie apocalypse to happen, have open borders lol. But seriously though, just think about it. The infected can willy nilly come in if there are open borders especially with barely any control. You risk letting in those that might have some virus or whatever decease.

The only thing i can think of that could be done for those desperately wanting to migrate for whatever reason it may be, is to lower the requirements that are needed for Visa approval. Because right now the requirements are a bit high. You get approval on either your level of education, or the type of job that you do. For instance, if you are a plumber, then that type of job isn't enough to satisfy the the consultant. You must also have a decent income. I believe the minimum income you must have. in your savings that is, is $10.000 or $12.000 i'm not sure, but that is still a lot of money. To even come close to that amount i'd have to save up for at least 3 - 4 years straight without even touching a penny πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

So if they lower the requirements, then i believe it will definitely make it easier for lots of people.

But i personally am not in favor of just letting people come in willy nilly, as much as i hate to say it.
