Nightclubs are more fun for women, in general. Op-ed.

If you look around a night club and you're like me, 20's average height, not really interested in hip-hop, or edm, left-libertarian political and moral compass a nightclub is essentially a big 'what the fuck.'

Here's why. It's a bunch of ordinary girls of all types dressed in thin and sparse clothing, often without bras, and a bunch of cocky arrogant looking guys.

I wouldn't be so bothered like this if the guys in nightclubs were essentially spread the same as the girls -- bunch of ordinary guys with sparse clothing and perhaps no underwear, but no.

Instead it's a buncha guys that look like this:

🤷🏻‍♂️

To which my reaction is:

WHERE ARE THE ORDINARY GUYS AT?

So yeah the whole thing seems like bogus to me. Bunch of regular girls just want to put on a skimpy outfit and party with these exclusive guys only. It's, frankly, kinda fucked up.

Including the bouncers screening the door. Letting girls in free, charging guys. Blocking ugly dudes from being allowed in and all that. It's not even fun for the men who make the cut and are in there. Why?

Because 1) they aren't allowed to walk around half naked and dance on people in the same way the girls get to. And 2) they all need to maintain the 'clubbing guy persona' to make sure all the girls have fun. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So there are two problems. The first is lookism. Discrimination of men being allowed in. The second is cultural. The macho machismo of the nightclub expectation prevents guys from being able to cut loose and dress as free-spirited as the girls inside.

So that's all this take is about. What's with the ability for girls to just go out and have tons if venues cater just for them, mostly free, and guys not? What's up with that?
