China has a lot of ethnicities but the Han ethnicity generally self-segregates from other Chinese ethnicities. Han makes up over 90% of China's population.

Sweden has a relatively high trust society as of 2014, but its neighbors Denmark and Finland are less racially ambiguous than Sweden and are even more trusting.

France is arguably the least trusting society in Europe and the most racially ambiguous at this point.

Just correlations, but correlation can be causation too. And in this case, common sense says that it is the cause of nationwide distrust.

Colombia. A hellhole country where the poor as just one example are treated like dogs.

Pakistan. A hellhole country where minorities are treated like dogs.

China. A country with many minorities, many of which are treated like dirt. A leader, Mao Tsung, MURDERED MILLIONS and yet some respect him like a demi god.

Sweden a country where many cities with larger migrant populations are third world shit holes, where rape statistics have gone through the roof, etc. Where if you speak up against migration you may end up in jail.

France is not racially ambiguous by choice. Migrants are not welcomed by the majority of French population, this is one reason why they're loaded onto boats at the English Channel and shipped across to the UK.

Really you should educate yourself about the cultures and countries beyond use of wikipedia

Go back to the 1300s in France when everybody was supposedly trusting & friendly because there was less "racial ambiguity" as you say. Guess what? People from one town would sell out the people in another town to foreign invaders or bandits for cash and not think anything of it. Most people only cared about whether you grew up in their village or not. There was no such thing as national identity. There were super rich royalty who could order you to fight in wars or have you executed. They could also rape your wife/daughter anytime they wanted to and execute you if you complained. Sounds like fun...

But the most prosperous countries in the world are all ones with ethnically diverse demographics, with the exception of Scandinavia. So the whole ethnostate implications here don't seem to hold water when you think about it for a second and realize isolated populations tend to die out more often than trading, deal-making ones.
