you are clearly not a parent? .. why would anybody give their child to a stranger to hold? ... being old doesn't stop someone from being a stranger nor does it automatically make them a good person... I understand your logical reasoning but it just wouldn't work in general good parents do not just give their babies to strangers to hold.
