This video pops up on my feed where a guy is talking to two women. He asks them,

Have you ever gotten into a club for free, while some ugly chicks had to pay?

In response to the next few questions, they said, yes, but they don't club often, but it's not their fault this happens, they were silent when he asked why they didn't demand to pay full price for the sake of equality, and they said they didn't care. So the guy interviewing them said something like, so you only care about feminism when it benefits you? Is that fair? Her last response: life is not fair.

Okay, so I'm fairly certain any girl that's done a decent amount of clubbing has at the very least gotten into a club for free or paid a reduced price vs, and I'm quoting here, "ugly chicks," or men. While I can agree that this would be anti-feminist (I'm not a feminist, but I just crush a lot), that's certainly not the end of this story.

Soooooo while we're on the subject of admitting things that we all know to be true, men don't want to go to a club with a bunch of dudes (unless its a gay club) or into a club with, and I'm quoting here, "a bunch of ugly chicks." This is precisely the sexist reason why UC's aren't allowed in for free and neither are men.

You blame the women, but you set up the standard in the first place.

I can all but guarantee the majority of clubs are run by men, and if they want to be fair, then why the hell are they reducing prices, or offering ladies nights, or not letting UC's in if these holier than thou men believe in equality and fairness?!? You cannot for one bloody second tell me that if the tables were turn and there was such a mythical thing as "gentlemen's night" where guys got in for free, they would stop at the door and demand to pay either or feel sympathy for "an ugly male friend" who had to pay full price.

I agree that it's not a great example, but I think we can agree that the girls being asked in that video (club girls) aren't the brightest bulbs on the string and need a simple analogy that they can understand in their inebriated state.

That said, we all know that a lot of women want all the advantages of traditional relationships (chivalry, the guy to pay for everything, etc.) AND all of the advantages of "modern women" (aka Feminism) too, without the responsibilities of either, or providing the man the benefits of either. That's what men object to.

Women need to pick one or the other, and take responsibility for whichever lifestyle they picked. If you want equality, then you give up chivalry and having men pay your way and defend you. You get to take care of yourself. Nothing wrong with that. Divide up all the duties, in and out of the house, and you each do your share.

But you can't ask for equality when it suits you and traditional when it suits you - that's not OK.

Here's the REST of that story: the study in question was funded by 3 feminist organizations, interviewed women in NYC and Boston, and most of the women interviewed were in their 30s. because often women are often overworked not only at their jobs but also at home. Women are the "chefs" , "maids", and the "official parent" of the house. While only men need to work their 8 hour shifts then come home , expecting dinner to be cooked for him while he watches sports on tv. Every time the kids get hurt or have a problem , they always run to mom rather than dad. Its not uncommon to see a woman cleaning after her husband after she gets off her 8 hour shift.

The double standard in clubs is nasty. But hey, if you're the owner, it makes you more guys' business to be known as the club with hot girls. Many of us undercut other people to get money (like by exaggerating the quality of your labor). It's not accurate to paint club owners who discriminate on looks as uniquely illźmotivated.

Where I dissent from feminism is the excessive problemetizing of things, and the marxist solutions to all fiagnosed problems. Examples that are front-of-mind for me:

1. The "wage gap." It's not representative, because on average, men work more hours, crazier jobs, and are more competitive. (How many more female friends do you know that will ditch their social life to get ahead in business? Plus many women opt to be stay-at home moms, and have their husband's make the family income.

2. The "pink tax." Most highlighed products are things that women buy at higher quality than men. Razors are a chief example. A dude's razor just isn't too great for shaving legs. Car insurance, an formal suits are more expensive for guys.

3. Inflated rape statistics. It is not true that 4 in 5 women are raped. That number stems from a definition that includes most forms of sexual harassment. From unwanted flirting to forced rape. The real number is much lower. I've heard 6 in 1000 for universities in particular.

4. Assuming that all guys accused of rape are guilty. Imagine doing this with people accused of theft or murder. Most would agree that such a policy is unreasonable.

5. Generalized problemetizing of men. Rudeness or or disliked behavior of guys is posed as an integral part of men "toxic masculinty," while male virtues are ignored. We won world War 2. We're usually the ones fixing your engine. Now each guy is good or bad on his own, but the good things that many guys are more likely to do are completely untrained, while vices are highlighted

Also, I'm going to refute you on abortion. It's not your body. A baby has unique DNA, and cannot be consciously ontrolled by the mom, like she can do with her hand. Dependency doesn't make tge baby part of mom-s body. Otherwise dependant 4--year olds would also be part of mom's body--and_l/or dad's. The same goes for the elderly in dependant living.

I watched that video you're talking about, a while ago and have come back to it a view times, so I'll put it in a bit of context.

The man was Kevin Samuels and he were debating 3 girls, with Amanda being the most vocal one.

Anyway, right from the start, he asked why fairness is so important to Amanda and he also stated that men don't care about fair because they conquer and then he basically exposed for for being a hypocrite and only complaining about fairness when it doesn't benefit her, giving the nightclub as an example.

He destroyed her and had an answer for everything, which is why she stopped listening when Kevin claimed to be a feminist and then she basically started playing second fiddle when one of the other girl's stated her opinions and just agreeing with her, so if she got an answer again, she wouldn't look as bad.

Ultimately he was talking about dating standards and stated that it's more unfair for men than it is for women and given some of the women he's talked to on his own channel as well as some of the girls one that podcast (Fresh And Fit), he's not wrong with most of the girls who have come on the show.

If anyone wants to watch it, just google 'Kevin Samuels vs Amanda', which is upload by Fresh And Fit or go on Kevin Samuels' own channel, I believe the video is titled 'Modern Women Are Angry That The World Isn't Fair'.

It's the same video and it's about 30 minutes long but worth it, if nothing else for context, he just destroys her, lol.

Yeah, ultimately the world isn't fair, but people only care about it when it benefits them at least some of the feminists, because whenever I've exposed double standards that benefits women, they delete my answer or just refuse to read my answer, because the truth hurts.

- Radical feminists will only get more deranged

- Mainstream women with common sense will continue to distance themselves from the “feminist” label. More will openly criticize it.

Guys (and average girls) have to pay cover, and they buy drinks because it's harder to lure girls to clubs than it is to get male patrons. Tk understand why hot girls get in clubs free, you have to understand the economy of the club environment. Club owners know they ultimately make more money if they dangle hot young women as "bait" to reel in men with disposable income (especially around payday time, hence the big end of month blowout parties many clubs put on). Letting the hottest women in for free is a momentary loss leader that ultimately secures more revenue, knowing that men become more likely to spend big if they think it might lead to sex, whereas the reverse would not really be true if it were the men getting free entry. Its not pretty girls who get in for free. In most of the clubs or bars, they let all girls in for free. this is because desperate men usually flock to bars to get sex. The bar owner needs to make sure there are enough girls , especially attractive women, for these guys to fuck. From my experience, its usually optional for girls to pay or not. If a girl cannot pay, there is a good chance she will be let in any ways.

And lastly, a lot of men on here complain about how women reject them so much or are so cruel to them. I can say these same guys treat ugly girls almost the same way. Its just that ugly women are less likely to complain about such a thing.

@David_Kek The main objective of feminism is to promote equity and fight against gender stereotypes. For instance, workplace inequalities. When a man is chosen over a woman who is equally qualified to take such jobs. Favoring male gender over female in taking leadership positions only because they are female. In some countries, female children are married off at a young age to much older men, is given the responsibility of being an home maker and is denied education. In some countries, women are not allowed to express their political opinion let alone taking active participation. Women who are strong, independent and intellectual are less liked by men for some reason. There are still a lot societal norms that needs to be tackled using feminism. I'm in no way saying that men don't have issues they are also dealing with in the society but I think that rather than tackling feminism with the excuse that men also have troubles, why don't they step up and speak out independently for their own course? To me that's a better solution. And feminism is not a battle between women against men. It is more of stepping up and speaking out about an important issue that specifically affects women and makes them violated and invalidated.

@David_Kek "pretty girls" not getting to pay or paying less in a club so that men will come flooding in the club which most likely owned by men is not gender based inequity because it only involves a small percentage of women. It is not because they are just girls but because they are seen as instrumental in helping the club make money. I think this also accounts for female hair salons where men are given more jobs at because women will flood in. This is not the same as not giving someone a job simply because they are female. Imagine you applied for a job which you are well qualified for and the company hiring says that they can't give you the job because you are a man.

Hopefully you'll notice that I used equity and not equality because I believe that humans beings are not equal, male and females are not equal either but that would be only based on physical aspects generally. In other aspects human beings are not equal which is why I said equity which means fairness or impartiality.

About the child custody rights thing which is a more valid point than the former, I believe every feminist who totally understands what the concept really entails would not stand in the way of allowing a deserving father equal right to his children. Yes, opposing that would be double standards and actually unfair. It'll also be unfair to invalidate the women who are going through severe discrimination because of a minority of women who are just capping. But I'd definitely agree that a lot of people who claim to be feminists do not really understand the concept.

@seestar Well in that case i think you really need to reexamine those beliefs of yours in regards to hiring equally qualified men and women of you believe in equity. Because the overwhelming majority of those workplace inequalities that existed before said qualities laws came in the force to help women, where actually cases of equity business tactics that was in the companies economic interest. You take a male and female job candidate who are both equality qualified on paper, even if the woman is even slightly more qualified, in the overwhelming amount of jobs it's still in the businesses economic interest to select the man over the woman in most cases. The man will give them a better investment, even if you exclude all other factors, the big one trumps all of them, being family. Even if you exclude maternity leave, just the mere fact of average hours worked once they settle getting married and have kids, the women on average work few hours and are more likley to quit their job after a few years, while the reverse is true for men. Just that single fact alone economically justifies that discrimination. Your exact argument to justify a club engaging in such business tactics is no different than a hospital that only hires attractive female secretaries and married male doctors with tons of kids to feed, since in both cases it is economically justifiable to them.

But that's just it though, this minority of women is the majority of feminists boots on the ground activists. They do these things, for near enough the same reason you use to justify said clubs policy a non-issue, because the truth of the matter this is a form of discrimination that is in your benefit as a woman, whereas you being turned down for a job using the exact same reason that the other guy is a better long term economic investment for the company, that is not to your benefit.

the only benefit I saw in feminism was that thanks to it I was able to lose my virginity back in high school without actually getting married or being in a relationship.

but even then I still dont support such nonsense because after all women who do give it up the easiest are the ones who tend to be manipulative liars with ulterior motives.
