My boss is a registered sex offender?

I am a CNA at a locally owned assisted living facility. My manager is seriously one of the worst people I have ever met. One day... she decided to disclose to me that she has 9 felonies and is a registered sex offender. I realize that employers can't hold your record against you, unless it is related to the job. While most of her felonies are against sending nude photos to young boys, which may not relate to the job, she does have a felony theft charge, which would relate to our job. When certain narcotic medications magically started "missing" she quickly pushed them off as "computer errors" and did not look any further into them. At that point, I went to the owner and told him what my manager had told me because I would be the next "suspect" as I am a full time med passer there and I did not want them or her to be able to push the blame on me. My owner, manager, and I had a meeting and it obviously did not go well. The owner just sort of brushed off everything that was said because "he's too busy" to do anything about it. Well ever since that day, my manager has treated me very poorly and unfairly. She writes me up for everything she can find reason to and is constantly trying to turn my co-workers against me. I am obviously in the process of looking for a new job, but I love love love my job otherwise and if I lose the one thing I love, there's no reason that she should be able to keep it. I have tried being the bigger person, but her acting like she is better then everyone else, when she likes to touch little boys and steal pills... makes me want to vomit. Does anyone know where I could go to report her if my owner is not an option? Is there anyone/anywhere?

Is there a way to get a copy of her record? It obviously exists out there somewhere. What if you did some research on her name and see if anyone has reported on her in the press? Find out where she worked before and talk to those people and ask them for anything they have that you can use.

The problem always happens when you are in a junior position to the person you accuse and upper management hates dealing with this type of thing. I will bet anything he took her into his office, had a private meeting with her and she denied everything. Now she is out for revenge because you are a threat. She won't stop until you quit, she has no morals and may even try to ruin your reputation in the industry.

If you can get the dirt on her and proof of her convictions, quit your job, pass the info the someone way up in the company (owner, GM, whomever) and get her fired, then you could probably ask for your old job back. If they won't give you the job back you can sue them for the suffering you went through at the hands of this woman (but you will have to record everything she does to make your life miserable from here on out).

It sucks that people who are criminals can keep getting away with it while making your life miserable. What are the limitations on putting a drop camera device in the meds area and just catch her stealing?

The owner is your option. But your word is useless without proof.

Can you work on recording her conversations somehow? Or getting proof, and witnesses?

Oh my... No.. I guess you should quit and forget all about this terrible job? Instead of working for someone like this.. who is so horrible and all..

Bring it up with human resources, sounds like a case of harassment.
