Why do black women/white men marriages last longer than black men/white women marriages?

i thought that it was culture differences are the reasons that interracial marriages divorced so often but white men and black women marriages have the lowest divorce rate. why?

This has always puzzled me. On average, marriage between a non-white woman and a white male last longer than White Women/White Men marriages along with non-white male and white female marriages.

I believe this is rooted to socioeconomic and education level. Marriage is slowly becoming a thing, that is mostly done in the middle/upper class of society and unsurprisingly the marriages that tend to last the longest are those where the couple are financially well off and highly educated. BW/WM spouses usually have higher education attainment and are comfortably living a middle/upper middle class life.

Meanwhile in BM/WW marriages, both spouses are usually not as educated (no college degrees) and are not as financially stable (most of them are working class at best). This difference between education level and social class in my opinion is the main reason for why nonwhite women/white men marriages tend to do so much better then white women/nonwhite men marriages.

Moral of the story. Marry someone whose highly educated and has a high enough income to where the two of you combine will be middle class.:)

Because if a white man choose a dark women, he probably really likes her. So many dark women love light skin that she basically has what she wants so why would she leave.

White women are highly desired, dark men are desired as well... more chances for divorce

It is kind of culture, out of the black people I know most of their dads dropped the seed and left, it's just very common among black people, it's not just me saying it either the stats are out there. If kids are involved it's less likely the mother will leave, so black women stay in the relationships and their white husbands aren't going anywhere, unlike the black ones.

I have no idea. I imagine white men on average have a higher wage than black men. That's something to look at.

I don't even care. If I want to marry a white woman I will.

Not all the time. Divorce rates are high all across the board, even with within same race couples. My marriage lasted 4 years with an African woman, then we just had too many problems.

@asker Mostly financial and infidelity on her end. She has her good sides, but her bad side is that she uses other people to get what she wants or be comfortable. She can't hold a job, usually because she quits, but she's going to the food drives taking food, and asking church ladies and horny desperate old men for money. One woman from church gave her 400 dollars because her tires weren't safe. Another man gave her 400 in cash, and her current husband wired her 1200 dollars directly into her bank account when we were married. Considering he lived in Michigan, and she moved out there instantly before we were even divorced I'd say she already had something going on with him. She was basically an opportunist and preyed on horny, old, ugly ass men for money. This is the same woman who is an evangelical christian, learned sign language to preach the bible to the deaf, would wake up in the middle of night praying if she had a nightmare, and volunteered to take care of seniors.

She wasn't psycho crazy, but she was crazy in so many ways. She told people I was controlling, when I asked her how I could be controlling when I'm gone for 30 days straight driving a truck, and she owns a car, you know what her response was? I'm controlling because I don't give her money. It's natural for a man to give his wife money according to her. None of this happened until we got to the U. S though, so yeah she's just fake. My friend told me most people from her area of Nigeria are known to be con-men and prostitutes. He says most of the women from their drink and do drugs, but that's definitely not her. She can't even take one sip of beer. She was really sweet and classy though when I met her, but looking back I think she was just trying to be someone she's not.

@asker basically it became a stalemate, I wouldn't give her money, she would whine about it. She withheld sex and all affection because of it. I just filed for divorce, the only way to fix it would basically to have caved in and became her sugar daddy. That's not my style. She want's a very traditional marriage with traditional gender roles. I have a traditional side, but I think women can work and put in 50 percent of the effort. Every bill doesn't have to divided up 50/50, but marriage is supposed to be a team. In my marriage, I was a one man army doing everything. She was more like a spoiled daughter than an actual wife.

Yes, a 56 year old white man. She's in her 30's. She doesn't like Black people in general, and neither does her sister.

They already have a joint bank account, she owns half his house. He adopted her two kids, and he bought her 2 or 3 vehicles already. She just walks all over that guy. Now she's selling insurance and making good money though. She's an opportunist, she flat out told me afterwards she doesn't care what a man looks like, as long as he is a good provider.

I was 23 at the time when I married her. The first 2 years of our marriage was great, but the second 2 is when she changed.

That she is, but hey I guess there is a lid for every pot. She didn't find much gold in this mine lol. I don't tolerate that, I had separate bank accounts and everything. Despite all that I still hear from her, but I know when she is full of shit still lol. Basically her current husband has been single his whole life, and doesn't really care about money at this point. It's a win-win for both of them. Me, I can't deal with that, I'm greedy, and I love my money and I like to control it. Helping someone is one thing, but being their free checking account is another.
