The Mongols did cut deep into Eastern Europe , turning Russia , Ukraine , Belarus into their subjects , before cutting even deeper into Europe , through Hungary and Poland. I wouldn't be surprised if some soldiers stayed after the war and the rest is history.

Western Europe has been lucky , while most of Eastern Europe was dealing with the Mongols , the West get to sit on their ass , drink wine and talk culture when the East is worrying about the Mongol horde.
Made me kinda proud actually lol , knowing I have part Siberian and Mongol in my bloodline , but DAMN they were brutal those Mongols.

Q in Scandinavia comes from the Huns, while Q in America is of different origin.

You're talking about the Q1a2a group which is seen as the biomarker of mongol lineage , but you have to remember the Q1a2a mongol subclade is also found as a different variation of Q1a2a1b among Native Americans. There is no written history of mongols ever reaching to native america.
It is entirely possible that any sharing of q haplogroup may have occurred far before the establishment of the mongol culture.
It is possible of course for the hunnic genes to have mixed in during the Roman empire but to say "Scandinavians and Mongolians" are brothers it is far fetched.
Especially when we consider the low frequency of q haplogroup in Europe , maxing out at only 5% at Götaland and Gotland in southern Sweden.

i don't necessarily think they look like monogolians but the mongols did conquer pretty far north and west. and many were nomadic so it stands to reason that Asian migrants settled in the nordic countries
