Why are male virgins ridiculed but female virgins praised?

Because men are supposed to be 'the leader' in that 'act'. If men are dull so that situation would be awkward because the women are virgin too, and it'd be embarrassing when the women are skilled more.

But, I personally praise male virgins as well. I mean, they usually do it for some purpose, to make it more special in their weddings night (because they will choose female virgins as their brides) maybe?

Yes, society is messed up. But maybe not everywhere. Here in my country, especially my region, male virgins are valued as high as female, it's what we call 'respectable gentlemen', who keep their dignities. Besides, now in this century, 'virgin' doesn't mean 'dull' too, right? People can always learn about it without losing their virginity, I think.

It's because it's seen as a manly thing to "score with girls," so theyre shamed for not keeping up with the toxic ideals for a guy. It's mega stupid, and some dudes just dont wanna have sex or dont have high sex drives.

Girls on the other hand aren't really praised for being a virgin, its just expected of them if anything. We infantilize girls as if theyre children who should be pure, but its why dudes, especially older ones, are so attracted to virgin women for the concept of tainting purity. But virgins are also seen as prudes for not putting out.

It's just a weird society thing.

I am a virgin and I get both responses. I get called a prude and princess. I also still get called a slut somehow which makes no sense. It just depends on the kind of people around. Only immature people tease and ridicule based on virginity and only people with outdated beliefs think someone is extra special because they're a virgin.

Because males are pressure and encouraged to spend their time and energy pursuing sex rather than paying attention on how to be actual men, pay attention to societal development and be leaders among themselves rather than beings with the capacity to love and defend what's of real value... and hey they're doing it to women now too and as long as there's a piece of candy in the trap, we will continue to fall easily for it. :)

Male virgins are most ridiculed by other males. Female virgins are most sought after by other males. Women don't tend to give too much of a shit if another woman is a virgin or not. They might get somewhat bitchy if she has slept with 200 men but they don't care whether she has slept with one or none.

As for males being virgins, they don't get too much ridicule from females unless they are asking for it.

Because men are more biologically capable of promiscuity than women. It is easy to stick your dick wherever, not so much to carry a child for 9 months and endure horrible pain and risk of death to pop it out. In other mammal species, it is common for males to mate with vast numbers of females. I suppose the same carries through into our modern culture and expectations.
