They can be to an extent... But people can choose to not let any restrictions on "gender roles" affect them.

They can be insulting and demeaning to both men and women, when they insist that all people of that gender are incapable or unskilled of doing something that is completely unrelated to their reproductive system.
Well f**k the roles and how society views you. Do your thing and be happy.

When forced, gender roles for females are misogynous. When forced, gender roles for males are misandrous. When taken as a mere guideline, gender roles (for either gender) can help, but eh, they're pretty hit-or-miss.
I think they make life a bit easier for everyone since tasks are better delegated between a couple. Nothing wrong with switching things up a bit though and adapting to what is needed.
No, gender roles are realistic. They favor statistical norms and they aren't set in stone or enforced by law. Only feminist retards think stupid shit like that.

Some are, and some aren't. It really depends on what it is. Some gender roles are really damaging to men too. So it isn't always about misogyny.
I don't think they are misogynistic, sexist maybe. They do seem to favour the male, but they've come about due to the differences between males and females. Mainly because women bear the children, something that can't be changed

Often they are either misogynistic or misandristic or both.

I hope not.

some are, some aren't. what are the results of the poll?

They are reinforced by biology, so if you think gender roles are misogynistic, then so is nature.

"Misogyny - Hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women."
Now, how do gender roles fit in this definition?
They benefitted both males and females, but they are old world ideologies.
Basically, they are a social construct, but yes, they are misogynistic. I hope that modern society will get rid of them for good.
No of course not. Only a mad feminist would think so
I think the world would be a better place if there were more traditional roles. Unfortunately that seems to be the worst thing ever nowadays
You mean roles like men having to ask women out AND pay the bill? Yeah, really misogynistic..
there is no gender, there are sexy bits and behavior/personality. a vagina exists it is definable, you can jot define : being a woman
Why would biology be misogynistic?
So it's biology that women should have long hair, dresses and makeup?
Yes, they are - and misandristic too.
