I keep seeing posts stating "housewife means you are slave", "you are much more than just cooking food and doing chores".

Because a woman can do so much more with her life than be a housewife. She should go to university, get a degree, then get a job

  I think the problem is that people are seeing a career as ''so much more''. Who's to say that it's worth more? Why is that better than devoting yourself to your family?
