The most important issue millennials face is not one of politics, of sensitivity or free speech.
The biggest issue they face is one of education. Too many do not use facts, reason, and common sense. Most of what is posted on youtube or facebook is not factual. And many don't seem to be able to find the resources where they can verify facts.
That is tremendously worrying to me. We are in the new dark ages it seems. Superstition and fantasy seem to be able to supplant science, facts, logic, and reason.
If that does not change and soon, we are all doomed.

The Social Justice Warrior Left has succeeded in creating a grievance culture where everyone is supposed to feel oppressed. Everything under the sun is now seen as racist, sexist, ______-phobic, or otherwise politically incorrect. A big part of this has to do with what is being taught and absorbed by students on college campuses. Attending college/university can be a great thing if you immerse yourself in legitimate areas of study. But things like Gender Studies programs are filled with angry, whiny people who think white "cis-gendered" straight males are devils.
I mean, I told my elderly neighbor I'm glad they finally installed a smoke alarm for her because she needed it and she got offended. So really, it's a tossup.
It's not only millennials it's most everybody these days get offended over almost nothing or anything.

I think you prove that you are just as easily offended by this question. Someone taking offence offends you.
Also interested what poll or pulls you are referring to when you clam 1/3 of millennial woman think compliments are sexual harrasment.
Also FYI, you are technically a millennial since you turned 18 in the new millennium.I think people are more aware of many issues than previous generations now, and understand that certain jokes can reinstate social prejudice or discrimination. However, on the other hand people take offense to certain things because they look to deep into a comment or see it is a social advantage to rip people down to damage ones reputation. Today's success has more to. do with politics than skill or intelligence.
The biggest problem with western millenials is their ignorance and irresponsibility. As a generation, they know nothing about culture, about history, about human behaviour, and they demand to be taken seriously like as they know that to lecture people.
The old will always complaine about the young. Even if it just magically stops becaues you pointed it out you will complane about something else. You got as much complaints about your generation as us it's nothing new. Just history repeating again.
The kind of things I see people getting offended over are generally with getting offended about like sexism and transphobia etc.
Don't know, don't care and I tend not to compliment random women by saying "nice rack you got there" so I'm not exactly worried about what they think.
Yeah, they're offended by people BREATHING these days. They need a damn good kick up the arse to teach them about the real world.
Simples...In my opinion everyone one gets easily over offended.
I don't find it's "millennials" per say, but anyone born 1995 onward generally is a special snowflake who needs the real world to kick its ass.
