I go topless when ever, but on some beaches even if allowed I don't, cold makes my nipples stand out to much even for my comfort,

They don't know better. The last time I was on the Riviera a few months ago, there were women without tops. They weren't the one's you wish were without tops and in all cased, they would look better in a burka.
That's what a lot people don't think about when they are deciding if public nudity should be legal. At some point those topless women aren't going to want to wear bikini bottoms at the beach either. Those women aren't going to look like the cast of Baywatch. They are probably going to look like the old women on The Golden Girls. It will be a beach full of old fat, flabby women with saggy breasts. They ruined that beach for most people.

I personally think women should be all for it... It would help reduce the sexual nature of the female body. If women were to see other female bodies as well, it would help them accept their own body. :)

Depends. An American resort town I went to as a surfer was understood to have mostly family friendly beaches but the last few numbers were not patrolled or regulated. There was topless there after sunset and sex in the dunes. Appropriately, I surfed at 69th St beach.
I wouldn't go topless but I think it's personal choice. Don't see anything wrong with it the same as I don't see anything wrong with a mom that breastfeed in public.

@zagor as I said, some places. In the US , places that have a large international community it’s more commonplace than places here in the US that are not as diverse. In many parts of the Us, people, mostly boys would be less than accomodating and some might be downright rude, offensive or aggressive. Many women knowing this would also take issue with open breast’s all about. This doesn’t make sense to you?

I think that SOME beaches should allow toplessness -- and no one under 18 unless they're with their parent (s). There are strip clubs that are all nude and there are nude beaches. There are strip clubs that are just topless and there should be beaches that are topless.
