"Gang rape victim’s trauma after Heathrow passengers stop attacker’s deportation
A gang rape victim has described the moment holidaymakers on a Heathrow plane stopped her attacker from being deported.
The mother, 27, has grappled with PTSD since she was raped by four men at the age of 16, and is now terrified to go out in public after watching her attacker walk free over a decade later.
One of them, Yaqub Ahmed, a refugee from Somalia, was due to be deported last October, before passengers on a flight to Turkey intervened.
Footage of Ahmed, 29, which was shared widely across social media, showed travellers demanding his release and shouting ‘they’re separating him from his family’.
When four Home Office officials escorted Ahmed off the plane, one said: ‘You’re free man!’
Hannah – not her real name – told the Mail on Sunday her life has been ruined since she was attacked by the men in a north London flat in 2007.
She told the paper: ‘How could you defend a rapist? How could you intervene? He was in handcuffs, he was being taken out of the country… who are you people to interfere with justice?"

That is definitely not right. The legal process of whether said person should be deported has presumably been finished at that point, and people should respect that. The end.

The deportations SHOULD probably take place on non-commercial aircraft, i. e. military, on undisclosed locations, hence my reference to regulations. And what do the actions of these people have to do with "social justice"? Nothing really. Nor are they liberals, they're fringe, just like conservatives can so far right they too become fringe. if this was strictly true it would be alarming but the facts not mentioned are that this was not hiliday makers but an organized protest and it wasn't a normal flight but a chartered flight made up of just deportees many of which had genuine grounds to seek asylum in the uk. also if the guy was a rapist he should have been in court and not on a plane
I assume the people on board were drip fed small amounts of info and didn't really know the full case. He served his time for his crime and was righfully being deported. I'd hope the people on board once given all the info would agree
I am from Turkey I know it. We already have 4 million Syrians that cause us enought problem and in last 1-2 years we started to see tons of Afghans, Africans, North Africans etc. Too in Turkey.
What makes you think it was liberals? Maybe it was led by conservative Muslims who always blame victims for rape. Show the evidence that it was liberals and not conservatives.
I think that it is great that he got deported to Somalia because they have a death sentence for rape. In UK he'd just be a wase of tax payers money, this way he will be in a grave in no time.
