Yes, a lot of these people are often depressed, have social issues, mentally ill at some point, wicked in general, or lost, not just rebellious. Very few turn to drugs because they had a drug addict parent or grandparent that passed on those genes. It is genetic. Most are dependant on it. Many are passive, and most of those drugs if not all open up doors to demonic forces that enter their body via the drug, and then instead of interacting with the person, your interacting with the demon themselves. If they want to get help, then I am all for getting them clean, have some counseling sessions, speaking with family in the form of therapy etc. But of theu want to drag you down and ruin your life. Mind you, the depression, and examples O gave above are no longer excuses! They really want to screw you up because their screwed up. Theu now became literally demons. And if you tangle with them, your stupid. Closemindedness have 0 to do with wanting to live your life right. Some people want to stay in the dump. Just leave them there.

Well I don't even consider cannabis to even be a drug as it's part of the herb and spice family. I voted C because some drugs are bad and some are good when used correctly. DMT, LSD, psilocybin, mescaline are good phychedelics, two of which I've tried and had many good experiences; Mushrooms and LSD. Where as hard drugs aren't good obviously since their addictive. I've actually never heard someone getting addicted to phychedelics before lol
Two three lines per year aren't a topic but the greed for more comes every time.
A person who smokes 5 cigarettes or drinks 5 cups of coffee isn't comparable with a person who is addicted to heroin or alcohol. Heroin is expensive hence an addicted person will very likely financially abuse their closest ones and alcoholics are depressive-aggressive most of time. This is very toxic for families, children, partners of addicted people. Cannabis isn't so cheap either if someone need 3-5 g weed per day for being "normal".
Being a burden for others because of someone's own inability to self-control is degenerate. It's a self-initiated illness and this is a huge difference to people who are ill because they wouldn't hesitate a second to become healthy again.
Nope. Some would argue the opposite. There have been a number of studies focused on hallucinogens and how the improve mental function in certain groups of people. Opioids are used widely in medicine for pain management. You have pharmaceutical Marinol which is used to treat nausea of cancer patients. These are derivatives of your standard street drugs, but used for a specific purpose in under controlled regimes. Drug addiction can be harmful when it interferes with the normal function of your life and those around you, but drug use itself isn't bad alone.

Overuse is degenerate. in my opinion there's nothing wrong with trying weed literally once a year like I do.
There's no such thing as medical drugs or 'addictive drugs'. All of them are drugs.
Human beings have been trying to alter their consciousness since we figured out what they do. Same with other animals. They are used in MANY religious ceremonies and many think they are a link to the spiritual world.
In addition, there's some who believe that the whole concept of christianity can be traced to psychedelic mushrooms
www.samwoolfe.com/.../...om-and-cross-by-john.htmlIts subjective. Psychology studies have so many grey areas. So for the most part I find it ridiculous when people try and bring science to the table.
So I'm gonna bring some science to the table. Lmao. One thing that all recreational drugs do is decrease the reuptake of dopamine from your receptors. This is why some people may feel more motivated when taking recreational drugs, and may think it helps them be more responsible, creative, etc. The problem is if your dopamine level is too high, or you get in the habit of taking drugs to increase your dopamine level. You start just pleasure seeking and being more irresponsible and lazy.Doing drugs becomes degenerate when your habit/addiction hurts or impacts the others around you, drinking with friends and during parties isn't bad but being an alcoholic is, smoking weed once in a while is fine but becoming a pothead who steals money from a friend to fund their habit isn't, etc
bro some drugs like psilocybin are being used to treat mental illnesses that nothing else would solve. yea it’s a permanently altering substance but often times it is for the better. it has been used to make terminally ill people be unafraid of death, cured depression and anxiety. i personally was suicidal and felt helpless in my life but after doing shrooms i was generally okay with where i was in life and wouldn’t have been able to get there through and other method.
Drugs are like any other tool such as fire, automobile, gun, etc. They are benign, themselves, and can be beneficial or harmful, depending on how they are used. I think most of the problems surrounding illegal drugs, at least socially stems from the fact they are illegal. For instance, I live in a state that just legalized marijuana and the sky didn't fall when it was done. Yet, how many lives were ruined through incarceration, broken families, and stigmatization when it was illegal? I think some laws are often way more immoral and damaging than any drug could ever be.
By the definition of the word "degenerate",...
Definition of degenerate (Entry 1 of 3)

the last degenerate member of a noble family
— W. E. Swinton

… fruit so degenerate that the insects weren't even interested …
— Tamar Perla
especially : having sunk to a lower and usually corrupt and vicious state
a degenerate schemer
a despairing and degenerate world had sunk into servitude beneath him
— W. L. Sullivan
c: DEGRADED sense 2
the functionally degenerate wings of the species
... then yes. That is if we take into consideration addiction and the usual outcomes of it.
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/degenerateWhat happens if a person has had childhood trauma so severe that any type of substance abuse can only be attributed to self-medicated all over the world this is truth. Thursday say did you know have obviously never been in the position of challenge to the point where that became a choice.
I get called gay for being raped and a Drago for my chemotherapy. I'm reminded that I was f***** in the head since 10. My social anxietycripples me and I have 0 understanding of how to make friends and people believe that is the greatest joke of all.I don't know it depends of your behavior while on those drugs. If you're destructive to yourself or others than yes. If you can keep your shit together and enjoy an occasional party drug I personally have nothing against it. I've done my far share of ecstasy and lsd. It was a phase for me but I never let it get out of hand. I was general a happy person too. So I wasn't trying to fill a void. Now I only smoke cannabis for health reasons.
Please take it from me avoid drugs period... euphoria is temporary and over all not worth the damage... do any thing but drugs please is no joke bad shit will happen then brutal. Dirty toxic chemicals.. think what's in it n how it's made.. n by who.. your play with your life...
I see 3 types of drug users : people who use drugs to cope with something, responsible drug users who do it for fun and irresponsible drug users. Only the latter bother me. The first ones need help in my opinion, psychological help as they are only using drugs as an attempt to get away from some problems.
All drugs are degenerate. Because they degenerate your conscious. Its a myth that they "elevate" consciousness. All they do is allow people who are empty to fill themselves for a few hours.
Alcohol is 'hard drugs' and cannabis is 'soft drugs'? Oh my.
The rest of all that bullshit is in a different category. Well, 'cept caffeine.
So, tell us why the rest of all that is of some benefit to anyone that takes them. We're dying to know.It entirely depends on the individual if you have an addictive personality than you more than likely need to stay away from pretty much all drugs even legal drugs such as caffeine nicotine but if you're capable of self-control you can basically try and do whatever you want
if one has to use strong drugs for pain then do it ! if you can use it without becoming high on it or like your so drugged that you can not walk a straight line or talk with out slurring your words
The truth is, that people, who oppose drugs obviously never did some themselves or saw only degenerates, who happen to consume drugs way too much and paint drugs as their favorite scapegoat.
I miss my psychoactive SARI drugs. This is why doctors are very important!
Meh, to me it becomes more crap to use drugs when you compulsively have to use it.
If you can use it and control yourself, I don’t think it matters muchYes using hard drugs ( Heroin , Cocaine , Crack , Meth ) could be degenerate
Recreational drug use is fine as long as it doesn't result in harmful behavior. Do all the coke you want as long as you're still paying your bills and not hurting people or committing crimes to fuel an addiction.
