I would go with having women simply accepting the words a man says as being what he actually means. Now, admittedly, some women do this. And, some men don’t deserve it. But I’ve known an awful lot of men who experienced no end of frustration because their simple words were interpreted to mean drastically different things than what they actually meant. The flip side of the coin is that in return, women get frustrated with men for not understanding what they (the women) mean when they didn’t actually say it. “Wasn’t it obvious what I meant?” is a phrase I’ve heard more than one woman say to her man — to which the usual reply is, “How am I supposed to know what you mean if you don’t tell me?”The fact is, most men aren’t sophisticated enough communicators to mean much beyond what our words say, nor to pick up on much beyond the words we hear. So it would be nice if women would understand that.

Thousands live like this already, meet them on YT on the channel "exploring alternatives". Of course if you're a consumer-fetishist reliant on the plundering of the Earth's resources robbing future generations of a life in dignity, or someone who is addicted to have their cerebellum entertained by gadgets and distractions, you will find switching to a SUSTAINABLE existence a tad hard.

Human beings have been living on this planet without "fridges and washing machines" for thousands of years. If you were to manufacture one of each of these for every human on the planet you would run out of raw materials. What does that leave to the next generation? I get that it is easier to puch a button on a machine that uses electricity that comes from the burning of fossil fuels that pollute the atmosphere than washing up your dishes by hand. Believe it or not, people washed their clothes long before the washing machine was invented. The air and waters were unpolluted in those days - the air that plants and animals breathe and the water they drink. Today it's all polluted (smog, oil spills, acid rain, etc.) and then people are surprised they develop allergies and grow tumors and die from health issues. I must admit, playing around with fuel-refinement until the exhaust fumes are transparent was a nice trick, it makes you think the billions of cars on the planet ain't polluting the air every day, and who cares about the 1.4 million people that die in road accidents every year? But yeah, buy a car too. Or do you already have one of those too?

I am happy to answer your questions, with the understanding that just because you see others CAN and DO live sustainably will have no effect on you anyway. Yes of course we use electricity, it comes free from the sun. I wash by hand. Yes I do have a laptop from my old days that I still use today. But you can get them free on freecycle websites. And I use the wifi of a neighbor with their permission. I am a non-driver by choice - I do not own a motor vehicle. I distil my own water. I make my own toothpaste from natural healthy substances. I bake my own bread. It's easy, healthy and tasty. But why ask if you won't change your ways even when you see it's possible? It feels like you are trying to find a fault so you can "strike back" instead of taking a critical look at the consequences of your own lifestyle on the life of the people around you and the immediate environment you live in.
1. "Sustainability" cannot be put down to a single perspective. Each context demands its own way of approaching sustainability in relation to the life of the people living under different circumstances or places.
2. "Electricity" is free. Well if you believe this is true, why not implement a small scale system yourself and start running some of your devices at home from it?
To produce electricity 24/7, we need an energy source. Therefore, we need a "conversion device". The source is pressurized water from a dam (hydroelectric), or from the wind, or from sunshine, or natural gas, nuclear energy or coal. All of these are energy sources, but in a form we can’t transport easily to our homes and factories. So we convert the energy to electricity, which is easy to transport.
It is not 'free' for a reason that people shouldn't waste it.
3. Strictly speaking, earth will never run out of resources. Natural resources will not run out — we are not depleting the number of atoms of each element, we are simply redistributing them. Even our so-called garbage dumps will become treasure troves in future as the metals that have been discarded are mined for reuse.
Besides, i do not think you'll live long enough to worry about it. You definitely need more education to be coming up with all that stuff above and that is definitely not how "science" works.

I wish for men to understand that it is not that women doesn't like sports, it just that some women have a lot to take care of than sitting and watching football. Well I’m not sure what you’d think of me... a few years back I had a minor neurological event, a minor stroke. Some of the brain damage was in a very small area of my brain that controls emotions. Ever since then I tear up at the drop of a hat. If I see a puppy chow commercial on tv, I’m balling. When my most fav9rite songs come on, I’m weeping my ass off. I cry at the most inappropriate times, in other words, not when I’m sad. I cry when I’m happy, sad, just any super strong emotions. @AmandaYVR- you can’t “treat” lost brain cells. That’s what happens when any part of the brain is deprived oxygen delivered through blood. Mine was very minor, thank God. It happened in my sleep, in fact I woke up not even knowing it happened. Until I looked down to see my left hand not doing what I thought it was doing, turning on the radio. My hand was temporarily paralyzed, it came back slowly in the following days. I’ve been left handed all my life, but I was never again able o write. I had to learn to write right handed, you know what it’s like to never again have that same signature? The paralysis was temporary, but the muscle memory for writing is gone forever. But I’ve adapted, I had to.

I agree with you. It seems pretty brutal out there. I dated for 10 years, been married for 20 now, and keeping an interested eye on things. There is nothing to fix there are only things to improve I wish there would be more understanding and effort during communication. I would change how courts "protect" women. On the criminal side, their word should not be more or less valued than a man's. If a man has no video or other evidence to back his story in a domestic then he will probably be the one arrested, regardless of who started it. In family court, women win primary/sole custody waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for no other reason than they are the mother. The men get shit on with the visitation rights that do not get enforced. Also, child support as it stands is a death sentence. Point being, if I could change one thing about women, it would be to take away their abilities to unfairly destroy a man's life. Not saying men should not pay child support, but the payments need to be more fair to his lifestyle as much as hers and more accountability of how those funds are used by mothers need to be in place.

I would make it so they understand the female anatomy, especially below the waist and regarding breasts. Most guys don’t seem to be in tune with how women’s bodies work. I think our current culture gives the wrong idea of sex. We pressure ourselves to have as much of it as possible and we live this YOLO lifestyle without thinking about the possible consequences in the future. People (men and women) want to have tons of sex while their young and next thing they know that they have an STD, they have children before their ready, their broke from child support, they can't find someone to settle down with because nobody wants to marry a slut.
Thinking their emotions entitle them to something or give them special rights. Though I obey the rules of harm-avoiding and comforting etiquette when speaking with women experiencing strong emotions - I mean the cases when I have to do too much acting, intentionally being not myself - I hate the existence of the necessity to obey them that is imprinted in the gender interactions in critical moments or just moments being hold for worthy by the opposite gender of applying their special rights.
But I'm conscious that if it'd truly disappear our world wouldn't be the same. So I'd be happy if it happened at least if I consider only what It would bring to my life, but I don't want it to happen because many things in the world probably would get out of order if it did.

Hmmm yes I see. There was a q on here very recently, where a guy is upset his girlfriend is still Facebook friends with her ex from 5ish years ago. He found it disrespectful. I doubt there is anything I could do. The opposite sex is not broken anything I do would only be to change things to my liking. Women are like they are because they evolved that way. Of course I myself am a part of nature. It would be no different than a wind storm or rocks falling down the side of a mountain. Something would definitely change , what the long term result would be I don't know. My inclination is to get rid of sex all together and grant humanity immortality instead. Like the older forms of life had. Without death there is no need to reproduce.
This isn't one thing, but here's some changes I would make.
-Get rid of menstruation and make the female ovulation cycle more efficient, no more pain or periods. -Decrease the fertility window to a week every month. It would be possible to have sex and not get pregnant for the rest of the month. On these fertile periods, women would lose their libido and be able to "feel" when they're fertile due to hormone changes. -Increase their libido, ideally to the same level as ours. -Make half or 1/3rd of women have pseudo-penises or "dicks"
It changes as they get older. At 18ish their hormones are raging. But you'll find into the last 20s and onwards, potentially, their innerworkings and therefore priorities change. You could date a little older, but at your age, not too much older.

I have one Question: Why do women deny sex after marriage? It only takes few minutes or 1hour to get it done. It's not like they don't get pleasure out of it.
Also men are quite happy if they aren't denied for affection. Its way of showing love and lust for partner. Men get even happier if woman is initiating sex making them feel desired.
Then why the hell women think their partner is only after their body? and not love them. Why ruin happy going sex life? If all they wanted was body then they could have gone to brothel or married with sex worker.

@Aaron_Stone there are always counter parts there are women who give there 100% but get reject they dedicate there life in service of men but they don't get anything in return it becomes hard for them human behaviour is way beyond boxing into a certain category its on us whom we choose to be with
that is if those aren't husband-wife/couple. if there is no physical attraction between couple then they become more of best friend or just brother-sister. Those people are very dear to us but it doesn't mean we can marry them. Very purpose of man -women coming together having marriage is sexual attraction and emotional bonding to mate and love each other and reproduce. Otherwise it would have guy-guy best friends together or brothers to live together. That isn't the case with heterosexual majority we see in society.

All animals have biological desire to reproduce in order to continue their species. Humans aren't celestial beings. Humans are animals. Desire for sex completely biological without it you wouldn't be in this world in first place.
I believe you have heard term Survival of fittest. We have animal ancestors. Carnal desires are responsible for finding best genes possible and that requires attraction to be chasing those with best genes. Sexual attraction is just biological mechanism to identify fit genes.

Oh I don't doubt that at all. I can never get a straight answer out of my brother for even some of the stupidest things unless I straight up demand it, and some friends of mine give me the runaround until I pester them enough to get an answer. But I've seen it a lot with women on most subjects, especially romantic feelings. Why can't we all just be okay with saying what we want to say?
I dont like that idea. Women go through the pain of child birth to have a preview of what the next 18 years are gonna be like. I'm sure some women would love this but to me everything has a purpose. Even if its painful

Yess its pretty useful if you're gonna be the main ones raising the kids. They cause lots of pain and stress but its mixed with moments of joy too. I have two kids, one with pain meds and one without and I really preferred going naturally. Definitely taught me how to be more patient and that helps in the long run
@Apple1996 Well, I want to share in the difficulty at least. I can't shoulder any of the pain here so my wish is to take it away. Perhaps there are some pros to surviving the experience in strengthening fortitude but there might be some cons too like it might really make women terrified and averse to having children.
Some women have a fear of childbirth. Personally I think those women shouldn't be moms. If they can't handle childbirth they prob not gonna be able to handle all the other things motherhood brings like breastfeeding, sleep training. Those two things brought me many more tears then giving birth did
@Apple1996 What about splitting the pain as a compromise? Somehow, magically, men will now suffer half the pain of childbirth while women suffer the other half.

I've never dated before or anything, so based on what I've HEARD, guys are expected to approach and women like it when guys do and don't often approach themselves, so assuming that's true, I think it'd be nice if women themselves would approach, if they're interested.
I would make them less susceptible to herd think. Women are so much less likely to be lone wolves or outliers, you'll never see a group of girls who all disagree with eachother having friendly debates
Damn I'd say its 100% not for me I dont want any of that. It always felt like unnecessary arguing back then and never wanted it in my life again. But maybe some women like it. They become lawyers and stuff so they are out there. I think you're definitely onto something. I've noticed in real life among friends and on social media, say Facebook groups, girls will ask about something, say another girl's new boyfriend, and instead of saying, "what do you guys think?", They ask "what do WE think?" I've also noticed if one intially has an opinion that differs from what the others go on to think they'll morph their opinion to match the others'
@Stonernights chill is almost always a facade. Arguing is just bringing to the surface what already exists underneath. Two people that can be comfortable arguing with eachother are truly at peace and they will learn as well. If you shy away from disagreements you'll never learn anything
Nah I'm good. I've always been this way and I love it 😊 I'm more about my own hobbies and having. I wouldn't even know where to fit something like that into my life
I would change that women don't expect men to know what's on their mind or how they're feeling. As I've grown this has become less of an issue but whenever I talk to someone younger it seems that they expect me to be a mind reader.
I wish they'd be more sympathetic to periods/hormones/pregnancy/childbirth. Maybe even have to experience it for like a week to see what we go through. Also not be creeps (not all men are creeps, but a lot of the creeps seem to be men)
I would give all women and insatiable hunger to receive oral all day ever day. It wouldn't make a lot of men happy, but I would be one of the few for sure!!! A big factor to my communication skills and the ability express my emotional state was the fact that growing up in the environment I did I was told by multiple elders (family, teachers, even strangers) that men are supposed to shut up, and suck it up, I have been punished multiple times for expressing myself, like how me stating that I did not enjoy or understand why I was made to do an activity, or how my female family members got to stay inside and watch TV while I hade to pull weeds, cut wood, work on cars. I have gotten yelled at, hit, and even just silenced for expressing myself. And multiple of my friends have experienced the same situations some where beaten, some got silenced by the screaming of multiple women, I got sent to the basement. I have been punched in the face for expressing myself, I wonder why men hide their feelings. 😂😅 It really isn't anything group in particular's fault more of just as a whole it has been normalized and stated that men and women need to act in specific ways and even though the grip of that disgusting perspective fades into nothing but an after thought it's reminance still remains in society. @cryokeep Genuinely thank you and I'm so unbelievably sorry this happened to you, it happened to many men I knew and was really prominent in my family growing up, they believed in really harsh gender roles, I think it's a huge issue that boys are taught this is wrong and society needs to normalise boys having emotions. Grown men also need to realise it's their job to work on their communication skills no matter their upbringing, although if your partner had a particularly tough time expressing themselves growing up you should, of course, be more patient.
