Pers I'd say the death penalty should be automatic for them. they usually reoffend and can't be helped, plus I don't want my taxes going to keeping them alive and they just don't deserve life. Humans have rights, no matter what they do, they are still human so those rights should be respected to the most possible extend.

The following is generic, not for pedo cases only:
When someone acts against other, you need to: compensate the victim and make sure the guilty person doesn't do it again.
To make sure it doesn't happen again you put guilty persons in prison and try to reabilitate them, there are also restraining orders or domiciliary arrest.
To compensate the victim the guilty has to pay a fine or compensation, you pay their hospital fees, offer them therapy and others.

Well, I was quoting human rights because I agree with them, but I can argue a bit more explaining my position.

I'll start with the argument that most times there is option that is fair:
Suppose a guy John with a wife Jane, he kills Bruce's wife, Betty. What does your loosing rights logic leads to? John must be killed? Jane must die? John and Jane must get divorced and never see each other again?
None of those is fair for Jane who did nothing.

Other argument:
Suppose that two guys Rob and Bob, they are twins in every way (have wifes, kids, home). Now, Henry is mentally ill and he kills Rob. Max is "sane" guy and he kills Bob. The damage that Henry and Max have inflicted are the same, so both of them loose their rights and both of them should be killed. The logic of no right leads to an unfair situation of Henry being killed even though he is mentally ill.

So most of the times the logic of "you violate rights, you loose your rights" doesn't lead to fair situation like your goal was.
That's why I don't follow it. I'm sure that what I stand for is not perfect and has problems too, I simply think that they are more acceptable.

Nope. Torture is barbaric, just like capital punishment. And ideally you would not degrade yourself to the 18th century when punishing someone who is stuck in the 18th century. There are plenty efficient ways to deal with pedophiles (jail) that do the job.

Either way, having capital punishment in a civilized state with being able to appeal decisions (and yes, everyone has the right to do that) leads to cases that take decades and really incredibly high costs (some suggest higher than jail for life). Plus, the costs of them going to jail are insignificant on a budget of a government.

We don't have death penalty in UK. Doing a little research (thank you google) it seems in the US it costs more to try cases with a death penalty, so you wouldn't save money, quite the opposite. And the sheer numbers if cases that you would need to try as death penalty cases would flood the system.
Prevention is bettwr than a cure. Investing money up front to support people, prevent them from offending, would sve cost of trying cases, poloce time, cohnsleling and fall out from emotiinally damaged kids growing up to gonon and commit other crimes (many abused kids and up using drink and drugs to mask the pain and turn to crime to fund habits)

girl 3 (raped at 12): ptsd, severe anorexia. substance abuse. can't get over it, she was 24 when I knew her.
boy 1 (abused from ages 8 to 11). severe ptsd. pissed himself, shacked and had meltdowns when it was mentionned. severe depression. obese. substance abuse. borderline.
And the list goes on, can mention more.

@N192K001 I met them in a psychiatric clinic (that specialized in stuff like that also) and others in a therapy camp thing. not a social worker, just was in there with them. and all this in america. Yea I mean it's pretty bad, typically they end up with a variety of scary mental disorders that last a lifetime even with a bunch of therapy. and those are the ones with therapy anyway.
