Yes, I also don't think feminism's purpose to fight for men's rights but I certainly feel that men should fight for their own rights, with their own movement. I love (most) men... just not the alt-right, they don't deserve rights, they deserve prison. :D
There is a movement to fight for mens rights, it is called Men Rights Activism (MRA), and you've never heard of it because feminists are constantly silencing MRAs, apparently feminists think that women are the only ones with any rights to equality. They pull stunts to silence any public meeting, they harass us online, and they hire journalists to slander and silence us. https://youtu.be/GO_X4DkwA_Q https://youtu.be/3WMuzhQXJoY
@devilman666 I'm a feminist and I've been involved with men's movements. If there is a movement that is anti-feminist or sexist that is a different sort of group than one that fights for rights of men. Hope that clears it up for you.
Im sure that some feminists do get involved with men's rights activism, however most just ignore it. "If there is a movement that is sexist that is different from a group that fights for rights" Lol so what about the feminists who are anti-man? Does that mean feminism doesn't fight for rights of women? The thing is, yes, a small portion of MRAs are sexist assholes, but a small portion of feminists are also sexist assholes. It doesn't make either group sexist, it doesn't mean either group should be silenced. Hope that clears it up for you, if you want to claim that MRA is sexist then please prove that every MRA man is sexist.
@Aislin9 bullshit you dont watch youtube videos, you're just trying to be a jackass and not actually listen to what I say. The video is a ex-feminist named Cassie Jay giving a tedx talks, she is explaining how she tried to join the MRA movement as a way to expose them as being sexist, but she realized that they aren't actually sexist, they're fighting for real issues. I think it's a very worthwhile video, helps to clear up a lot of misunderstanding people have about MRAs.
@devilman666 Okay, no need to be hostile. I don't like to watch youtube videos that people send me "devilman666", please respect my rights and do not try to force yourself upon me.
That's good. I'm glad she found something she agrees with. Nothing wrong with men's rights as long as they don't tear down women in the process.
@devilman666 I didn't say that, that is your assumption. Just because I don't want to watch your youtube video, doesn't mean I'm dismissive. You're absolutely hostile to me and I know it's because I'm a woman.
You know it's because you're a woman? That is your assumption.
"Nothing wrong with men's rights as long as they don't tear down women in the process" this is extremely dismissive. Imagine a man saying, "nothing wrong with feminism as long as you dont tear down men in the process.", the problem is that the comment inherently assumes that feminists/MRAs are constantly trying to tear down the other gender.
Men and women already do have equal rights. By equal rights I mean the bill of rights and the constitution which holds men and women as equals. Now there are a lot of problems outside of actually rights but it's not correct to say that equal rights dont exist.
True that, so why is this question about women not having rights to show their breasts? I mean, they can do whatever they want. They can criticize, but there will be nothing wrong with showing bare breasts. We just have to show them our breasts as we walk around, but if this was not illegal (I'm not sure if it is), I'm sure some people might do that.
My 12 year old sister doesn't wear panties to bed and she will show her breasts, giving our one year old sister a bad example.
Believe me I got no problem with women walking around topless and I know men get to do it (in almost all places) and women dont. It should be legal as at least just for breast feeding mothers.
Yes and no. I support equal treatment in terms of things that men and women can do equally, which is most things. However, there are differences between men and women so it is impossible to make EVERYTHING equal. In those instances, go for equivalent treatment.
I support equality of opportunity and equality of responsibility. The conversation must be both about rights AND responsibilities. For it is unfair to expect the same outcome without the same risks and consequences. Unequal effort shouldn't create equal results. People who make poor decisions shouldn't expect the same outcomes of people who make wise decisions.
Certainly I support equality, but I do not believe that some people are more equal than others (George Orwell reference).
Men make up 90.1% of construction workers in the USA. Female construction workers exist, but statistics show that it is very rare. https://www.nawic.org/nawic/Statistics.asp
The fact of the matter is that he is correct, in almost every dangerous field like construction worker, it is almost exclusively men, with over 80% of the workforce being men. Men are also the majority of army deaths and suicide deaths, feminists like to pretend that we just need to "catch women up to men in terms of rights", but there is a lot that needs to be done to help men too. I support equality, I can't wait for the day that the gender suicide gap and gender workplace death gap is made equal.
@devilman666 women birth and raise kids not men !! kids love their mother more then father! and women are more precious by men than men are by women !!
@devilman666 and yes suicide victins are mostly men cause they have weaker mental power than women have so they are flimsy about troubles !! they are victim of suicide by themselves and and according to Bureau Justice Statistics %91 of rape victims are women and offenders are men again and again !!
With that statement you automatically say female's are less intelligent since they have know for a while that more intelligent people tends to have more mental problems. depression. anxiety. suicidal tendency...
If we should get real it isn't gender based on a geneticall level with stronger psychic, history will tell that since more female's was self destructive then males. also towards people around themand males did get the blame. It has to do with society construct religion ideology. with other words mostly external influenced how to be, think value and so on.
Death with delivery is pretty low.
Female's tends to be the most harmful for their children compared to males. even use them as pawns to revenge. inflicting pain and discomfort on their fathers. drag home people to have sex or relationship with just to get some feelings fulfilled before childs safety. Mentally abuse and use father's in front of the child. make drama in front. fight in front. talk shit about the father in front... I could go on. alienate the father on purpose for some revenge, there do we have the part with less fathers involved with the child's upbringing in USA... and some other thing. we could go on.
You should only know how much equal rights you really have and what rights males doesn't have by law and society bios. what I know female's have the same right and opportunity as males plus many more that males doesn't. It's not the 80's.
Just because statistics says it if that are real numbers doesn't mean it really is like that number when the hidden numbers comes to light. An other factor the numbers doesn't say the variables like when where in the world, if it was other kids that are boys, war zones in like Africa... even how many that really is killed and molested. the number since you only state % 😉
An other thing is. that could be a huge number of reckless mother's taking home strange men. in similar fashion as Ted Bundy's girlfriend did with him. (little to comon even here I live. have been witness to it multiple times just like many other males)
Female that molest children have higher rate of getting away with their actions. very well known and ignored since they can't do that much about it😉
Since you begin to throw other thing's with just % numbers it gives little to strong signals of grasping for straws to have right/win no matter what. Therefore do I wish you good luck somewhere else with someone there it works on. Have a nice day.
@Agape93 mgtow stands for men going their own way. I don't think a man who goes his own way cares about anything related to women. So I doubt the ones who voted no were mgtow, and incels are usually sad because they can't have relationships which means they care for women, again doesn't sound like someone who would vote no. I think you lack the necessary knowledge to be talking about those groups.
1. Mgtow in my experience fall into one of two buckets; men who want to live lives how they choose, which is good. Then those that are bitter due to some real or perceived slight by women. So no, i understand and I speak from personal experience.
2. Incels whilst sad are also in one of two buckets; those that just can’t seem to find love or sex but still remain decent people. Then you have those that act out or support violence against men and women because they can’t get laid. This group houses several mass shooters, rapists and overall toxic assholes. So no again, I know full well and speak of what I have personally seen, read or saw in the news.
So whilst I agree mgtow may be unlikely to vote no here minus some individuals that are particularly bitter, incels have often expressed notions that women shouldn’t have rights or at least the right to refuse sexual advances from men.
@Agape93 but how can you be sure those people were truly mgtow or incel? and how can you attribute their bad behavior to their beliefs? I can go out and shoot a bunch of people and then claim that I'm a feminist and that I did that for the feminist cause, just like how the media associates people like Elliot Rodger with incels.
1. If that’s what they say they are, then that is what they are. 2. They flat out say it. When they say that chads should be shot or that Stacy’s shouldn’t be able to refuse a mans advances, how the fuck else can that be interpreted?
I’m sorry hon but Elliot Rogers was an incel, and most of the toxic incels revere him as a supreme gentlemen.
Face it, I know what I’m talking about. I’ve seen this, online and off. People have died because of them. People have been raped because of them. Stop trying to defend abhorrent beliefs.
No because feminism is about equality. But if you’re referring to misandristic beliefs claiming to be feminism, then yes I find them abhorrent and they need to go away.
Ahh you see! I believe that in a perfect society, any individual regardless of gender, race, origin, sexuality, medical condition, etc. should experience a fair and level playing field.

No because it dosent work out when Women Say they want that it just means that they want the same pay an we get stuck with all the work that's why I work for my self so if a Women comes to work for me doing anything she will have to do the same type of work or she don't get paid fuck that shit fair is fair. God Bless
Way back in time when we were hunter gatherers men were hunters certain genetic things happened making them good at it women were the gatherers same thing happened men work one way which works in some situations and bad in others the same for women with out both we would have gotten half as far as we have and half as far as we can
It depends on how we define equality. Sorry to say how hard it became to define terms that have always been easy to understand. Honestly no. Women have privileges and won’t want to give them up. Equality will never exist in the world, if it did you wouldn’t be able to succeed as it goes against equality. Women should be self sufficient but I believe men are superior. We are, no one can deny it. Just accept it!
Your mother has requested an immediate termination of unsuccessful progeny. She deeply regrets it and vouches to never birth another grossly distorted, clearly intellectually delayed specimen.
What the hell is meant by men being 'superior'? I think men and women are not the same and have different strengths and weaknesses, but one isn't superior over the other. Do you honestly think your father is superior to your mother (who probably raised you the most anyway)? And yes I can 100% deny it.
It's guaranteed in the Constitution, even if it was ignored in the past. Equal pay is somewhat problematic. It is documented that men work longer hours and women take more time off. That must be factored in to equal play for equal work.
The fact that 36 mean think women and men don’t deserve equal rights is very disturbing. & 3 girls too? I’m curious for those who voted that way, what is your reasoning?

Correct I did, as I did for mgtows and incels. I recognize and differentiate the differences, as I’ve already stated.
If you hate men, you’re not a feminist. You’re a misandrist, nothing more. So yes she’s abhorrent.
I believe that in a perfect society, any individual regardless of gender, race, origin, sexuality, medical condition, etc. should experience a fair and level playing field.

Not in dress code, meaning women can't just go braless and shirtless; it'll set the wrong examples to children.
It is ok to wear training bras or sports bras without a shirt, as long as our breasts are covered.
It won't give a bad example to anyone, unless you sexualise it in front of them. I know for a fact in Germany, many families with children from all ages go to nudist beaches. It's a pretty popular thing to do in Germany. Coincidentally or not, german teens are less likely to sexualise a random person they see in the street. I agree that the world is pretty fucked up, but what I'm saying is, if our society accepts the human body for what it is, just like other societies, then there will be no need for "men" to be taking pictures, or peeking, because there will be no sexual context to seeing breasts or even a vulva and a penis, because people will have gotten over it. Yes, I support gender equality.

Yes, I support gender equality.

But men and women can not be equal as men and women are different.
Men and women are physically and mentally different.
Do I support it? Of course
Do I actually believe that it will ever exist? Nope
Of course, I support equality of opportunity though not equality of outcome.
The fact that 36 mean think women and men don’t deserve equal rights is very disturbing. & 3 girls too? I’m curious for those who voted that way, what is your reasoning?
