We are no longer in the 60s now everyone has the same freedom
This is like the 10th time today this has been asked on GAG.
I 100% support it
We are all humans no matter our race
what kinda question u asking... even doh that's not needed because black people rule over all race... the man to walk th earth was black... even jesus christ, that's th name th system give him was black
Yes of course. All lives cannot matter without Black lives mattering.
I understand it, but I don't support it. Mainly because I'm not a US citizen.
I support the idea that all lives matter.
But I do not support BLM because it is a domestic terrorist organization that is based on the myth that blacks are more likely to be killed by police when arrested than others are. That is not true.
All lives matter, and I knew that long before this movement came along. I support equal opportunity and a reasonable balance of personal liberty with law and order.
... black Americans are overpoliced.
#BlackLivesMatter is about righting that wrong
@Prof_Don the black community is not overpoliced, black people really do commit more crime and they need stronger policing
Policing is supposed to be objective; each situation is separate and must be handled by the book.
Just because a group of the population has negative statistics about them, does NOT allow the cop to prejudice the entire group & constantly using excessive force against that entire group when policing them.
A police officer needs to be free of all prejudice, statistics or not.
Yes, you and I know the black American population has a very high rate of “violent crime”.
So what? Doesn’t matter.
The officer still needs to be objective.
Every police situation should be handled on an individual basis. The officers should NOT unnecessarily initiate using excessive force against a black American citizen, regardless of what the statistical data says about that group.
If said officer is not able to be objective and not have prejudice for any reason (this includes negative statistical data towards any group), that person does not need to be in law enforcement.
Said person does not meet the requirements for the job.
@Prof_Don everything you just described is willful resistance to pattern recognition
black communities do more crime, we put more police in areas that do more crime. bingo bango bongo
its simple. your notions of equality have no place in the real world
More police, yes.
Excessive force in every police situation by default, no.
@Prof_Don there is no evidence police are typically using too much force
@007kingifrit of course there is little to no evidence, crooked cops aren’t going to accurately report their wrongdoings. Duh.
So you have to trust the testimony of the victims (in this case, black Americans), but due to your racism you refuse to believe said testimony.
Talk to more black Americans besides me, and you will be enlightened about the truth about how lawful black American citizens are more likely to be unfairly policed unfairly without due cause.
@Prof_Don well i think you're racist for trusting the perps more than the cops
all the data clearly shows black people do more crime, the data also shows cops are not unfair to black people
statistical data disproves any claim that black people are killed at higher rates, infact once you adjust for violent crime rate among other things they are underrepresented in police use of lethal force scholar.harvard.edu/.../empirical-analysis-racial-differences-police-use-force
for those of you who say that the % of blacks stopped and killed is higher than their % of the population this is not a sign of discrimination. Black men commit 52% of all murders www.channel4.com/.../factcheck-black-americans-commit-crime it is inevitable that they need more policing as they do more crime.
infact studies show police hesitate longer to shoot black people www.researchgate.net/.../290437363_The_Reverse_Racism_Effect_Are_Cops_More_Hesitant_to_Shoot_Black_Than_White_Suspects
you have no valid complaints, everything you believe is fake
Yes but i dont believe the Ahmed Albery or George Floyd incidents were certainly race based, they just happened to be black. If they were white the same occurances still wouldve happened
I do not. It is all based on misinformation and lies.
Not really... All lives matter... Period.. White dudes get their asses handed to them just as much... By cops... Or whatever.. Lol...
much more often, actually. Look at the stats.
No I don’t. All lives matter not just the black Americans
Blm is racist. if white lifes matter is racist so is blm
Why do you keep repeating questions other people have already asked? Can't you just just use search function? I have to say you seem pretty stupid. @UnknownGagsUser
social-relationships/ q4187546-are-you-in-support-of -blacklivesmatter
No I don't. I support "everyone's life matters" movement!
Yes but the point of blm is that it's a given that "everyone's life matters" but that can't be true unless black lives matter too
Are you listening to yourself? Black people are included in the word 'everyone' when you're talking about lives. You're not making sense to try to prove your point. All lives matter includes black life moron. There shouldn't be an 'especially' attached to that.
@Spencer422 like I said, I support "everyone's life matters" the same but I don't support one group of people's life more than others.
No. Their website is trash and what they stand for.
Interesting more white men are likely to not support black people. Who would have guessed🤔
Is it also interesting that they don't support us? 🤔
That is a racist and sexist comment. Just because white man don't especially support black lives it doesn't mean that in general white man don't support black lives and the more I think about it my white man life more important to me than all black lives all together!!!
Who would have guessed other than a sexist racist like yourself and such comments only make me support black lives less!!!
All lives matter. Putting black as a separate just doesn't unite us all.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I don't support Russia.
I really don't feel so too strongly one way or the other about it.
I support their original cause and can recognize and understand why they are so angry.
Yeah I do. Racism is still clearly evident in America
Well yeah. Course. Every life matters but god do we need equality for blacks.
Who cares what the n*ggers and n*gger-LOVERS think!
yes
because white people mistreat them in America
i do not. I don't support any group who thinks violence is the way to be heard. Bottom line.
Then do you support the police force (the brutal ones)? Violence in America at a time like this is needed because corrupt legal systems will only listen to the loudest of cries. Not the sweetest.
@ChatterboxShiv I'm sorry, but attacking people who have nothing to do with whatever your issue is, is NOT the way to be heard. It's the way to start civil war. White woman shot dead for saying all lives matter. Whether you agree or disagree with what she said, defending the murder of her for her opinion that ALL LIVES MATTER is racist and evil. I do not and will not support those people and I applaud anyone who stands up to them. I do not support CRIMINAL actions by police, but I damn sure support them ending violence and murders by massive mobs any way they have to.
Murders are up and violent crime is spiking hard in cities where they're defunding the police. It's no coincidence. Whether you like them or not, they've been effective at keeping people safe. It's hard to argue against that when they moment they're gone, the violence surges up. There are bad people in every group. Every group. You can't get rid of an entire group because a FEW suck. Otherwise all organized groups would be disbanded as well because of their law breaking members. I refuse to cherry pick and say all cops are bad cops because some cops are, when you say we can't judge other groups by the actions of only a few of their members.
Okay so if you don't support police violence in general, but support violence by police who are putting a stop to the "violence" from protesters, where does that put you? Have you seen what they are doing to people? I don't believe in ACAB but the police force is tailored for inevitable violence
I do for protests, but not for looting and riots. And I do think some take anti white hate too far.
The organization? No I don’t. I don’t trust organizations. I do support the black community though.
Yes. I’m black. I’d be really stupid if I didn’t.
I understand your point , but the real point of the extreme cult of black lives matter is racial aggresion and oppression against whoever thinks otherwise. That's racist at its core no matter who adopts the victim card.
@Djaay Who are we oppressing?
Are you BLM?
@Djaay What?
You said "we" Are you BLM?
@Djaay I am an advocate for the black lives matter movement.
I'm an advocate for ; "All lives matter " . As also I'm in buiness of saving "Souls" not skins. Furthermore there's no such thing as someone more special than the other unless your soul and salvation is saved by God. Untill then or not , All people matter as long as they remain moral in they're own ineptitude.
@Djaay We are all aware that black lives matter. It’s just that for centuries black people have been treated as if their lives do not matter, and we are drawing attention to that.
You dont need to tell me that. I'm married to a black girl and I grew up in they're neighborhoods. I feel ya tho. But BLM is not what you think it represents. Take a deep look into its function and principals and you'll then realize others being ostracized , manipulated , and exploited as prejudiced and racist against BLM.
Truthfully , all lives matter...
@Djaay Could you explain more? Like I said, I already know all lives matter. You don’t need to keep repeating yourself.
ALL LIVES MATTER. xxoo
All lifes matter this color race thing is stupid
no i don't, cause it's racist.
Of course you dont support because most Asians view white skin as good and dark as bad
And they say white privilege dont exist
Yes, racism is happening n it needs to stop
I'm rooting for the Murder Hornets.
With frikkin' laser beams...
@FatherJack Are they ill-tempered?
Yeah... Dr Evil controls them... results guaranteed !!
i support restructuring the police system
I think that All Lives Matter, not just black.
🙄🙄🙄 here we go
I am not an asshole, so yes, I do.
let me ask you
why shouldn't you
"It's OK to be White".
... yes it is. What does that have to do with #BlackLivesMatter?
I don’t understand why white Americans feels so threatened by #BLM.
Honestly, I don’t understand.
@Prof_Don Because BLM is a TERRORIST organization, that's why we feel threatened by it.
I support the ALL lives matters
Nope. We are all equally worthless.
I support all lives. All lives matter.
Not really. But I’m not against them
Either
Nope.
No. I support equality, no domestic terrorism.
100% yes.
No I support All Lives Matter
sure, every people are equal
No I honestly don't. All Lifes Matter
All lives can’t matter until black lives matter. Logically speaking that makes sense. I’m not black but I do support the people of the black race that have a non-victim mentality.
if this is the case why Are they not talking about the man who was killed by the guy who ran after him and shot and killed this Black man than called him names over his dead body?
I guess because it wasn't a Police Officer who did it
Yes, police officers kill black men all the time
Yes I do
Yes i think its a good movement
Nope
Elaborate
What's there to elaborate? I don't support it.
Why not
The whole BLM movement to me seems like they are shaming white people. And gives off a cult vibe.
And tbh I don't think me supporting it is actually going to do anything for the black community.
I urge you to do some research. Think of it this way: a story is a two dimensional image of a three dimensional object (that being the bigger picture) in order for you to see the entirety of it requires that you see it from several different perspectives. You can't see the back of your phone if you're so absorbed in looking at the front, but it's still there, it's still part of it.
Research? No thanks.
Well tell me what's the purpose of the BLM movement?
Answers do not come to those not willing to seek
Ok... I mean you asked me why I don't support it I gave you my reason.
I ask you what it's purpose you tell me to do research.
Right now I'm still not convinced that I should support it.
I'm saying that one person cannot give you all the information, if you ask they will give you one perspective. But since you are persistent I will tell you what I think. The blm movement is focused on putting an end to needless brutality inflicted on black people by the police. Were some of these people criminals before? Maybe, however there is a system in place to decide that. The job of the police is to safely detane these people so they may be processed through this system properly. In regards to the black community this job is not being done very well and the backlash we're seeing today is a result of that. There are looters and there are rioters and there are people complaining about things so small as to be called microagressions. these people are overly zealous poopy heads and are simply taking advantage of the chaos to push their own shit out their ass. The real purpose of the movement, as I understand it, is to put an end to the underlying racism that lines the police system and has for a long time. That's why I support blm.
Ok so basically the purpose of BLM is to end police brutality against black people.
Well first off I don't believe that the majority of police is targeting black people and abusing their power. I'm sure it exists, but it's in the minority not the majority.
And secondly BLM wants to end police brutality against black people. Ok what's their solution?
Overrated.. turns out we made a criminal a hero
Yes I do
Of course.
Yes 100%
Yes i do support it
No I don't
Not anymore
