During a storm the other day, the world's largest American flag was ripped in half & the Washington Monument was struck by lightning. Thoughts?

The world's largest American flag was ripped in half. The Washington Monument was struck by lightning, and so were two national guardsmen.

I found this interesting, given the turmoil that the US has been enduring in 2020. Do you believe it has any supernatural significance?

I believe it was a sign from God, or other supernatural forces. (What does the sign mean? Explain in the comments)

I believe it happened because of the witches casting hexes on the US government

The following is from a THIRD GRADE science text.

"When lightning strikes the ground it seeks out the shortest route to something with a positive charge, this might be a tree, a tall building or if they’re very unlucky, a person. ...

Now, since God made the universe and, as such, created physical laws to manage the universe, He established the framework within which these events could happen. But a DIRECT WILLFUL cause on HIs part?

I'm not sure I have any thoughts per say but I did say that people using graffiti in the Washington memorials, while disrespectful, was a sign that things are at an unrest in our country aka the us and something needs to change in terms of how we have our current system. I don't know because I’ve heard it’s pretty common for that area to be struck by lighting. But with recent events happening maybe it was a sign from god and power from the witches lol. Who knows I’ve been seeing a lot of them on social media lately.

The flag was old so was weakened to the weather and lightning hits the earth thousands of times a day. I say cut the flag into little pieces and sell them to help pay off the National Debt. With a big flag like that it would make a $Trillion.

It was just a coincidence but it is representative of some of the issues some Americans are facing. Thankfully a vast majority of people aren't extreme, but the people on the farther ends of the spectrum are becoming so partisan, biased, confrontational, and hateful. And some of these people, as you can see, some people are so extreme that they'd riot in the streets. It's pitiful and shameful.

So far, the entire year of 2020 has been filled with signs from God. It's sad that people continue to believe in coincidence, and science even when science has been heavily politicized. Lightning is attracted to iron. The pole was probably made out of iron so the lightning was attracted to the pole. I think it was just a coinicadence.
