Autistic people of all disabled people suffer the most especially the ones with a high or enough cognitive ability to understand what suffering is.
The average high functioning autistic person/Asperger's is never offered an opportunity for employment or to do anything with their lives other than rotting in their parents basement doing nothing but crying themselves to sleep every day. Because nothing is geared towards them. Autism awareness only serves as labeling campaign to distance the socially inept people from society.
Not to mention how much lonely and sad autistic people feel.. they are 15x more likely to commit suicide than the average person.
All of that contributes to a life of poor quality loneliness misery and a perpetual state of NEETdom and basement dwelling.
