What's the Captain Hook and Wendy thing about?

Anonymous
Sorry that I'm not quoting direct from the film, but the last time I saw it was in 2004. But recently I saw an interview of Jason Isaacs and then on the right hand side were fan videos for Hook and Wendy, suggesting some love thing. So here goes what went through my head after watching a fan video.

Peter Pan (2003/4?), so Jason Isaacs plays Hook and he said things to Peter in that duel in the end of the film which puzzle me. Like about the husband thing with Wendy. Earlier, in seducing Wendy to be a pirate, there's this (yes slightly pedophilic) thing going on between them. I interpreted that Wendy found Hook's proposition appealing, to join his crew and the way he calls her "my beauty," "love," etc. it's strange.

I want to know what you all think about the Captain Hook Wendy thing. It seems that Hook has qualities Peter Pan doesn't. Wendy wishes Peter would love her and be like a boyfriend, hoping he is true love material. So Hook preys on her when she leaves Peter Pan and the lost boys. However I got the sense that maybe Hook was interested in Wendy, like she was a last hope for love. Hook says that Pan would die like him, "unloved" and "alone." Lots of symbolism and ideas going on. So am I right? Is there a Hook and Wendy thing going on? What does all this mean in the movie?
