Of course he should be charged with double homicide. No matter what television show he grew up with. He drove all the way from Illinois to find some people to kill and he found them
He lived 20 minutes away. He worked there and was asked to come defend the business. He was cleaning graffiti, he had a med-kit and was going around trying to help people. Your narrative is nonsense.
No, even though you disagree about Jacob Blake, I have to agree Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent. You kind of threw me for loop with this one, you're not trolling are you? If not, I have to give you respect for being more independent than liberal.
He is 17. He can be tried as an adult for murder and can also be convicted of murder. Theoretically he could also be executed although I doubt that would happen.
He shot unarmed people. That at least justifies a charge. If I approach you with a gun and say "Come at me, bro." do you think I am justified in shooting you?
Kyle got hit already and jumped by the mob in a earlier scene. A mob of angry people hitting on you can cause severe injury or death. Kyle was in the right to blast those losers.
@Jackblue I may have been misinformed about events, hence I've anonymized my comment which should probably be treated as apocryphal. Sorry for confusion.
he may have right to defend, or not charged with anything, but 17 yo go to that place with a gun kind of violen to me, who know what kind of rage he will throw out later in life?
You must be referring to the people that were trying to catch him after he shot the very first person correct? They were the attackers they were simply trying to apprehend him.
@msc545 just saying. Thats why those guns are banned here in thd UK and the rest of Europe because a guy who wants to commit mass murder could should 30 people in 10 seconds without fear of being apprehended, then he could be carrying as many as 10 magazines of 30 which means 300 shots. You Americans need to sort yourselves out.
Tell you what. How about if we just go by the objective evidence that is in the video. I certainly do not want to insert a false narrative that causes problems down the line. Social media is infamous for that and because of it a lot of people got hurt.
"The objective evidence is that he shot one person, others chased him because of that, and he shot two more."
As far as we know. A sure way to know for sure it was self-defense on Kyle's part is when the mainstream media (excluding Fox and other conservative media) drop it like a hot potato and act like it never happened.
It's not evidence that is admissible in a court of law within the jurisdiction of the United States Of America and its territories. However, it is evidence in the court of public opinion that the facts of the case reveal that the narrative would not benefit the leftist powers that be so they dropped it altogether. That in itself is worthy of an investigation by a reporter with clean hands.
one guy who was likely part of or at least, supports the militia i also saw that he was wearing cloves to hide his finger prints. guess what? i've heard of some crazy who said they saw some guy who had something that look like a remote control device to make one person kill another. besides, if we wanna look at it this way-can't we say that the person who ''supposedly'' move against the guy with a gun and gloves was either afraid for himself-or, his community-making the other guy the hero? this is enough to convince those who consume nothing but propaganda-but not enough for somebody else.
The pedo and the skaterboard guy are seen taunting and threatening Kyle after he and the others who were protecting businesses had put out a fire in a dumpster which was being pushed into a gas station.
Later, someone tries to take Kyle's gun and he *runs*. The pedo chases him, then someone fires a shot.
Kyle reacts, turns around to see the pedo lunging toward his firearm and fires *4* times. The pedo is later found to supposed have *5* bullet wounds.
Kyle stops and makes a call -- presumably 911. He stands around for a moment then begins to run when he starts realizing that the mob is going to turn on him.
The cops are about 200m away and Kyle gets exhausted halfway there.
People from the crowd start charging in a delivering sucker punches. Kyle falls down, get kicked in the head, skater guy comes over and attacks, Kyle shoots him in the heart.
The guy with a handgun comes over raises his hands when Kyle point the rifle at him. Kyle doesn't initially fire. The guy brings the handgun around to point it at Kyle and only then does Kyle shoot his bicep.
Kyle gets up, the mob leaves him be and he heads over to the police line.
Completely self-defense. TYT is obviously full of shit. Watch all the footage yourself and get a grasp of the timeline, don't listen to those hacks.
... Except for the footage, testimony, and medical reports. So actually it's backed up by plenty of evidence. Did the propagandists tell you that there's no evidence?
@AllThatSweetJazz it's interesting that you bring up the medical reports. how do you explain this: ''autopsy of βKyle Rittenhouseβs first victimβ Joseph Rosenbaum determined Rosenbaum βwas shot in the back multiple timesβ; ergo, βRittenhouse did not act in self-defense.β Milwaukeeβs Medical Examiner in fact determined Rosenbaum was shot once in the back, and sustained several additional wounds. Rittenhouseβs lawyer has telegraphed an intent to claim the teen was acting in self-defense during the incident; the location of the victimsβ wounds was only one of a number of possible elements to a self-defense claim.'' . you expect me to believe that Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum in the back in self-defense?
It's a possibility, you can fall down or spin as you get shot. Also you can literally just watch the video and see the guy going at Kyle when he gets shot. So that part is plainly self-defense. But no, my real point was how did Rosenbaum get 5 wounds if Kyle only shot 4 times?
Dude, the TYT video AND your video despite being used to support opposite narratives are basically the same footage which is not enough. There needs to be WAY more showing of what happened before solid judgements are made. I find it troublesome too that this is all caused by a bunch of 20 somethings or younger. I support the right to protest, but obviously, it's not actually convincing anyone of anything, just solidifying two extreme sides. So I would stop with it or at least be more careful. These militia groups are out there, are paranoid af , and as shown WILL kill if they feel like it. Not worth it. These people on all sides are way to young and divided to be interacting with each other unless just for flat out talking.
@AllThatSweetJazz I don't know but it's likely given what's happen in the past couple years. But "militia" is similar to military, which is meant to defend and kill if necessary. I prefer the video @Hispanic-Cool-Guy posted here much more than the initial one. Seems a bit more balanced. But I am not going to solidify any stance because I was not there on top of the fact that it's very hard to find a solidly balanced telling of these kinds of events. People are too quick to either have a bias or claim the other side does and it takes so much damn energy to be so obsessed with it it''s ridiculous.
@errorgoodnameunfound So actually it hasn't happened as far as I can recall. That's important because it means it's not actually a problem and it would be incorrect to say they've shown that they "WILL kill if they feel like it". Militia can be there all day and night, if they' not killing anyone then they're objectively superior to the rioters. What should be happening is the police need to stomp out the riots so militia don't feel the need to be on the scene -- and if the cops won't take action then maybe militia are necessary.
@AllThatSweetJazz -Militia: A MILITARY force that is raised from the civil population to supplement a regular army in an emergency.
Military defend and kill to do so. Cops do need to do their job. But a militia as in the definition, is supposed to be in emergencies. The whole EVERYONE IS RIOTING shit is over hyped on purpose to divide. Businesses have to defend themselves as yes, robberies and such happen, that is what insurance and security cameras are for.
In the end, nobody won. 2-4 people died and now Kyle is in jail knowing he killed people and that will follow him and his family for life. Doesn't matter if people across the country "support him" his reputation is near burned, whether he is innocent or not. Which "innocent" is a broad term, because EVERYONE was breaking law, being out beyond curfew.
@errorgoodnameunfound It doesn't matter what you think a militia means. It matters what actions they actually take. Anyone can just call themselves a militia.
"The whole EVERYONE IS RIOTING shit is over hyped on purpose to divide." How so? The left downplays it constantly. Everyday it's "peaceful protest" as shit is being burned down. Is rioting a problem? Because if it is then people need to talk about about and deal with it. Over 3 months of ongoing riots is not some small scuffle. I don't see how people being terrorized, attacked, and even killed is something to be divided over unless they're trying to downplay the violence because it makes the left look bad.
Insurance doesn't magically cover everything. Getting 25k worth of rubble removal doesn't fix things when the cleanup bill is 100k. An obviously better outcome is to simply not have your livelihood destroyed on the whims of psychos.
Yes, nobody won. That's the problem with violence. But someone is to blame, and that's BLM as an ideology. If there were no rioters then none of that would have happened.
2 people died. Saying 2-4 acts like there's uncertainty here. We know who got shot.
He won't go to jail, it's obviously bullshit. They threw up a 1st degree murder charge. It's a bogus charge to satiate the mob. When they aim too high they make it harder to convict.
Yes, he'll have to live with that. Even self-defense comes with a cost, no one wants that to stick with them. Now if only we didn't have rioters and riot supporters fermenting this atmosphere which leads to people ending up in Kyle's situation and being forced to do this.
@AllThatSweetJazz Either I got lied to, or Kyle was part of a militia himself. Now, it was a militia apparently trying to give medical aid and such, but still it was an armed militia. Don't downplay that part, because like it or not, it does in fact make militias look bad. Whether the bad rep is deserved or not doesn't matter, people will think as they will.
Kyle could be completely innocent on the shootings, but that doesn't matter because he broke curfew and he is 17 carrying a gun which state law says is illegal. The protestors also were breaking curfew and causing a scene as well.
I don't really trust ANYTHING I have heard about this stuff. Nothing. Way too much info being thrown around on all sides with all sorts of biases. I actually want to be more for the businesses and such that get damaged, but EVERYONE is WAY to pro or anti BLM which for people trying to look at it fair and neutrally is hard af.
Hell, I even made a comment that A LOT of people here defending Kyle also said the George Floyd video wasn't long enough/not enough info. They weren't wrong, but what about this one? The videos presented are so cut up and even lawyers say that it's low quality and hard to hear/see, so going SO far as to solidly be on one side is ridiculous. Being steady and center isn't hard.
@errorgoodnameunfound Kyle was confirmed to not be a part of a militia iirc. What happened to dialogue was rioters. It takes two to have a dialogue, and so it only takes one to ruin that dialogue. BLM ruined it. Sometimes conversations happen, but they will defend the riots -- confirming everything bad about them. Irreconcilable differences can exist unfortunately.
Is there any video to back your claim? I'm in full agreement with you but I want to gather objective evidence that backs Kyle's claim. I have a lot of "what if's" and other subjective factors that may or may not apply but I want to keep it objective. Too often people act on false information and we end up with chaos in the streets. It's time to end that. That is why I want to promote the responsible use of social media when it comes to news stories like these.

I would say no, but let us wait for the investigations to be finished.
Then see if he can get a fair and impartial trial?
Of course he should be charged with double homicide. No matter what television show he grew up with. He drove all the way from Illinois to find some people to kill and he found them

No, I'm not trolling. Can't you see the dude was being attacked by a mob?
+1 ππ
they attacked him, they fired first. its a clear cut example of self defence
Thank God. I saw your title and thought you were going to penis this case up too. Very glad to see you on the right side of the issue
I have a good sense and judgment of justice. Its easy to tell when something is justifiable and when its not.
You just have to be fair and cut everything 100% directly down the middle without a fraction of an inch to the right nor left. Be fair.
He should be given the same rights and consideration that a policeman would in the same circumstances.
He's still a kid, , he cannot be tried , for murder. But I think he will go away for a very long time...
In that state he can be tried as an adult and convicted of murder.
@msc545 juvenile , can still be sent away for a
long time...
He is 17. He can be tried as an adult for murder and can also be convicted of murder. Theoretically he could also be executed although I doubt that would happen.

@Jackblue I may have been misinformed about events, hence I've anonymized my comment which should probably be treated as apocryphal. Sorry for confusion.
It is ok.
Yes. He should be charged as an adult and put away for a long time! Thatβs the law
its not the law at all, he broke no laws and engaged in self defence
If he doesn't I can only imagine how many people will go to a riot infested area just to let off some steam
then we'll arrest and shoot them also
he may have right to defend, or not charged with anything, but 17 yo go to that place with a gun kind of violen to me, who know what kind of rage he will throw out later in life?
Within self-defence. They run at him, seeing that he clearly has a gun. The last dude even has a pistol in his hand as he approaches him.
Nope. He defended himself from attackers.
You must be referring to the people that were trying to catch him after he shot the very first person correct? They were the attackers they were simply trying to apprehend him.
@msc545 he was attacked then. If he was a murderer like you say he wouldn't have needed to run as he's carrying a weapon that has 30 bullets.
@Warrior_Nun This is tiresome. Believe whatever BS you want.
@msc545 just saying. Thats why those guns are banned here in thd UK and the rest of Europe because a guy who wants to commit mass murder could should 30 people in 10 seconds without fear of being apprehended, then he could be carrying as many as 10 magazines of 30 which means 300 shots. @msc545
"The "court of public opinion" is a synonym for a lynch mob. We don't do that here."
Agreed. We don't do that here. I am a believer in the responsible use of social media. No violence outside of self-defense.
He should just claim to be a woman and then she will get off scot free.
No. He should defend. If he used unnecessary force, then yes.
Agreed. We are on the same page for once.
I will see what the court has to say.
he ran from a previous murder.
stop watching the propaganda on fox, here's the REAL story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIVeHOt903I
Pervious to him shooting the 1st guy he was already threatened and physically attacked by the mob.
according to?
Fastward to 5:40 to hear the witness testimony and see the video of what happened to the 1st guy and why Kyle smoked him.

then you are no christian. and these same people will have no issue murdering you.
Man. Whatever. Kyle was clearly running from the 1st dude til he got too close to Kyle being the aggressor then Kyle smoked him as he should.

Self defense against what or whom? The people chasing him where the people that were trying to apprehend him after he murdered the first person
