From my understanding of "psychopaths", a. k. a "sociopaths", or antisocial/dissocial personality disorder, one of the defining characteristics is inability to experience empathy and compassion.
From this, I assume they must feel a bit like an entirely different species, an outsider while the rest of the species has each other to rely on. I imagine it feels like being an invader or spy, who is in danger if they are ever discovered. So, to that end, it would make sense to have trust issues. If you think that anyone who discovers who you are will tell the rest of their species and have you locked into a box or tortured or killed, then you would probably be very scared and careful.
But I have also heard that some sociopaths see the rest of the human species as prey. So it depends on the individual? Perhaps some see us as equals, others as prey, and others still as the predators they must stay hidden from. Or maybe a combination of all of these things? Even the ones who view us as prey probably understand what a dangerous position they are in if we catch them preying upon us (in terms of murder or other crimes against people).

Psychopaths aren't really known for having trust issues in particular.
Their primary cognitive deficits are in decision making, working memory and language, which typically manifest in impulsiveness and apparent failure to observe rules, norms, boundaries and so on (because the mind of a psychopath doesn't have the full ability to understand long-term consequences of the actions it chooses to make).
A psychopath may not necessarily be "more distrustful", but they may jump to conclusions and seek retribution faster than a regular person would, for example.
Yes, they do. No psychopath trusts anyone. But people can have tendencies without being a full psychopath.

Uneducated opinion incoming. For some people trust is chemical and for others it's physical. Most psychopaths I would think fall in the later category, I understand it. Trusting people is rare, I have to know how they think, what they want, what they desire, things they consider important, I have to know them. Think of it in terms of nuclear deterrence. I don't give people things they can hurt me with. You're an exception, you feel familiar.
Only towards those who are untrustworthy or those they don't know. Not sure why you're asking this. Psychopaths and sociopaths have the ability to be more logical than normal people BUT it does vary. There are "low functioning" socio and psychopaths; all low functioning really means though is they don't know how to use their special mindsets for self gain.

Actual psychopaths or are we using the words on people that have done wring and use the brand as a reason why
I don't think a true psychopath is concerned about trust.
Psychos- rare as they are- do recognize feelings but like inflicting pain, so trust isn’t a variable for them.
No. They just don't understand love and decency. They don't process those feelings. Trust is independent of love and decency.
Yes, and with good reason. With the things they do, there are usually a lot of people very angry at them.
Anyone
No, I don't think so.
