I’m part Asian and I know that most of the hate is coming from leftists.
If it’s not hate it’s just schadenfreude and or a lack of empathy from these hypocrites that supposedly are against racial discrimination.
Of course not. But this forum is full of paranoid schzios. . . who claim the Chinese are trying to take over the "West".
The fact is they are mostly lonely incels who blame all their issues dating on women. So they end up spending all the time online looking for groups who will take them in. Most of those groups are "White" nationalist extremist groups. They blame everything on women and anyone who isn't "White".
They fantasize about a return to the days when "White" males could literally lynch non-"Whites" for walking on the wrong side of the street, when non-"Whites" couldn't vote without permission, and when they could steal, rape, and murder without any regard for the law.
So they dream up all these boogey men and these insane conspiracy theories that explains why in a democratic society every single thing does not go their way. They have to blame someone. Right now, it is convenient to scapegoat Chinese people.
I'm sorry you have to go through this it's not right people with weak Minds no knowledge people who don't think need to stop it has nothing to do with Asian people it has something to do with our American government selling the Chinese covid 19 virus knowing that the Chinese could not contain this virus in their facility now somebody wants to to get angry that's who you get angry at is American government because as far as I'm concerned that is sick that is disgusting and that is fucked up there's a lot of mentally ill people in this world and this gives them a reason to go mental but yes it was our country's sold the virus to the Chinese our government is to blame and they're coming to find out it's not a virus it's a bacterial anyway like the common cold with killing people is blood clots cause for the radiation from 5G it's making our blood thicker should take 100 mg that is the cure killing innocent people are hurting innocent people for something is not even real just pisses me off once again I apologize
Actually if you follow the statistics this hatred predates the virus and goes back further. An increase Violence targeting Asian Americans can be traced to 2008. In America's past hatred was realized during WW2, Korean war, Vietnam, and earlier since the days of the rail roads. These recent hate crimes have been predominantly from African Americans and Middle Eastern Americans. The media tells us these groups are mostly Liberal. Islamic Middle Easterners may attack as claimed revenge for Uighurs. There also is competitive Job Markets for ME and Asian Peoples. The African American could attack for any number of reasons perhaps the same as European Americans, but culturally I cannot say. I've seen news reports that the African American person said they hated Asian people, but they did not say why, obviously there is no justification. There is a contingent on the left that says Asians are white and or privileged. This is preventing some Asian students from getting into colleges as they unfairly must get a higher score based solely off their skin color. I've worked with some Vietnamese, Hmong, and Laotian people before only can say it was humbling as they outworked me, but I can improve. I know some Korean people personally as friends. Every person is different there really aren't group behaviors or races. Culture is real, but it is a choice. I've met all kinds of people and honestly believe God built people in His Image. Hatred is a product of Sin, Jesus commanded we love our neighbors as ourselves. My Neighbors are Asian, African, European, Latin American, and all places in between.

I don’t hate or blame Asians for anything relating to any virus. I’m married to an American-born Chinese guy and whilst I’ve been oblivious (because to me it’s senseless to blame anyone), his family has experienced hate and have been targeted. It’s ridiculous to blame anyone for these sorts of things because different viruses are everywhere; just because some countries (or the people) don’t know it exists, doesn’t mean that countries that have heard of it are responsible for its spread. It annoys and angers me that some ignorant, narrow minded people blame and act out their prejudices. Unfortunately, due to Trump and his personal behavior rendering it acceptable to publicly display hate, many of those said idiots believe that it is acceptable to behave in such a derogatory and hateful manner even when they’re wrong.
About China: It was deplorable non-existent EPA regulations on industrial companies and lackluster hygiene practices that promote the cultivation of the virus. Need proof? A few years ago, (I don't know if it's still that way however) there was so much polution in China the sky wasn't visible in the city, people had to buy humidifiers just to clean the air in their homes. They had to wear masks to walk the streets, and visibility once out of the city was limited to less than 3 miles (god only knows how far you had to go before the air cleared and the sky was blue once more.).
About Chinese people in the states and being unilaterally viewed & attached to a negative global stigma: Congrats. You're an official Minority. Welcome to the club, 💩-heads. Other minorities have been (and still are) persecuted here for a hell of lot less. 😒
s No, I don't. It's sad to hear that many people are blaming all Asians for the spread of the virus. I'm not Asian, but I hate when someone assumes that just because you're from Asia then you're Chinese.
If there's anyone to blame, then I blame the Chinese government for hiding it from the rest of the world.
1) I blame the Chinese Gov't not the people
2) There has been discrimination on Asians for some time previous to Covid. People feel threatened by Asian intelligence. There has been Jewish discrimination since Jesus. That is all because of Jealousy. So , both Asians and Jews are mistreated by the majority of the population. There is a problem there , but not with black people. Black people are way more accepted than Jewish and Asian people. I expect because of sports. No doubt sports bring black and white people together and you have to work together to win. That is one great thing Sports have done in America.
No not at all. Throughout this entire pandemic I haven't changed into a negative view. Makes me think of the Holocaust. People hated them for stupid reasons and killed those poor people. Learning about that and feeling in my core I would never be that way with another human being. I couldn't let myself be so heartless with China. They don't deserve such a thing. Of course there are ugly humans out there but not everyone is so quick to judge

I too listened to Trumps speeches where he said Wu Han China and China Virus but never said the Chinese people caused the problem it was their government not the people that caused the problem. I'm of Asian descent, I've not experienced any of this hate for the Virus. I think this talk about anti Asian anything is nothing more than BS or found in small pockets of stupid tribes.
I don’t. Because if we look at world history white people have spread like a million diseases that have killed other people. Besides its bound to happen again of course. I blame China mainly. The CCP. They did nothing to contain it.
This is mainly the result of Donald supporters who are butthurt about losing the election. They want to blame somebody, so they blame Asians.
Obviously the Chinese Communist Party tried to cover it up. The CCP isn’t all Asian people though, they are only around 6% of China.
