Trump must love them, because will believe in anything he says
Do all Trump supporters belive in conspiracy theories?
Trump must love them, because will believe in anything he says
Loved this survey. Yes all do. MOST but not all. I don't know. Not exactly a scientific survey. Put me down for "MOST do not, but a few do." The bulk of Mr. Trump's supporters being lower middle class blue collar workers who, ironically, were once the heart and soul of the Democratic party's coalition.
That being until the party began to seethe with contempt for them as it went out in search of the young upper middle class college educated. At that point, it became grand good fun to drip with contempt for the lower middle class, and thus was born, "Deplorables," and "clinging to guns and religion" and, oh yes, questions like this one.
Thus, by the way, did Mrs. Clinton lose an election by all rights she ought to have won. She failing to grasp that you cannot take the votes of those whom you visibly disdain for granted. Sooner or later they begin to notice.
As to conspiracy theories, neither party's supporters is lacking in the believers of said theories. See also the "Russia conspiracy theory." The Democrats were willing to start an impeachment over that one and yet, to this day, the DoJ has yet to bring up charges against anyone, let alone convict, for criminal conspiracy with the Russians. (Those who went to jail went for incidental and unrelated matters that were discovered in the course of the Russian investigation.)
Really, it is well past time that those who oppose Mr. Trump - and believe me, I was NO fan - to put their chew toy away. He is out of office and given his age is not likely to run for re-election. Indeed, even if he does, the odds are against him.
For whatever his accomplishments - and fair minded people would acknowledge that he had some - electoral success was not one of them. His first election was a statistical fluke - basically pure dumb luck - in which he won not a majority of the popular vote, nor even a plurality, but a minority. Two years later, he lost the House GOP majority. Two years after that he lost the Senate, and failed to win re-election - two term Presidents being the historical average - again on a minority of the popular vote.
To this add that in four years of polling, Mr. Trump NEVER managed more than a plurality job approval rating. (His best REALCLEAR average being 50%. Not 51%.) Suffice to say, why the man is seen as a model of electoral success escapes me. One fluke win, born mostly of his opponent's errors in taking her supporters for granted.
Put another way. Keep up questions like this one - biased and seething with contempt - and Mr. Trump may get yet another bight at the apple.
Not all, but most. What proportion of them believe the lie that the election was stolen (including, apparently, Trump)?
Trump's obviously going to continue to run the Republican party into the ground, being at the very least a king-maker, if he doesn't run again. It's his party now, no matter what establishment Republicans want to believe: they had their chance to bring the party to sanity at the end of last year, but decided to allow Trump to indulge his fantasies, far beyond the point they became farcical, which culminated in the attacks on democracy from inside and outside the Capitol on Jan 6th.
Of course, that's because Trump is the culmination of decades of moving more and more away from reality by the Republican party. They chose to make climate change and now pandemics a political battle instead of a matter of science, reality, and public health and safety. Previous, evidence-led legislation led to the banning of CFCs to protect the ozone layer (under Reagan) and the international measures taken against acid rain (Reagan/HW Bush) that was killing forests worldwide. Hell, the EPA was created by Nixon!
Today's Republicans in congress can't denounce Trump, because so many of them voted not to impeach or to acquit in his impeachment trials; they're complicit. Then you've got Republican state legislatures passing laws based on the lie that there was massive fraud in the election. That's the way an election gets stolen, not someone voting in person twice. (Afaik, the only people caught voting illegally have been Trump supporters, who believed the Democrats would be doing it.)
To answer my own question: "about half of Republicans believe the siege was largely a non-violent protest or was the handiwork of left-wing activists “trying to make Trump look bad,”... Six in 10 Republicans also believe the false claim put out by Trump that November’s presidential election “was stolen”"

So, yes, not all, but most.

Liberals are worse.
They believed in ridiculous theories like
-piss gate,
-Russia hacking the elections,
-Specifically Blacks are unfairly killed and targeted by police.
Despite official FBI stats showing Blacks are actually underrepresented in police killings per arrest for a violent crime.
-White supremacy is to blame for the Anti-Asian attacks, despite nearly every instance being a Black on Asian violent attack.
They'll simply believe whatever conspiracy CNN tells them.
They are like trained mind bots.
Do you believe the Capitol siege was largely a non-violent protest or was the handiwork of left-wing activists “trying to make Trump look bad,”? Half of Republicans do.

Christ. If the attackers were just expecting a peaceful protest, how come so many had armed themselves with bear spray and were wearing combat gear? And if they were already allowed in, how come they were breaking down the doors? By the way "ruckus" is a stupid word for beating police half to death and calling for killing them with their own guns. You know, there is video of all this shit, and it was not remotely peaceful.

Most of them weren't carrying guns, because even the most corrupt officials on their side would have had no choice but to allow the National Guard to come in immediately and shoot back, and that would have looked bad, even for Trump. As it was, they were delayed for hours.
You got much bigger problems to worry about than Trump supporters Antifa, and you don't even know it.
Allow me to show you what I believe in.

Notice how many views this video has on a relatively unknown video hosting website. If this was allowed on j00tube that 25k translates to 250k easily. We (Non-Trump supporter) WASP American real Patriots outnumber you Antifa goons. I think we are the only demographic looking forward to the collapse of the JSA Empire.
Oh by the way if you want to skip to the speech in the video it's at 3:50 . We'll be seeing you lefty...
https://www.bitchute.com/video/lVR1hR0Xd1IC/
Here is another one, the main speech begins at 2:50 in this one. Leftists are probably too stupid to understand what Tommy is even saying. Hell Trump supporters too for that matter... I used to be one, I woke up in 2017.
There are literally people in the capital riot with the communist hammer and sickle tattooed on their knuckles. The BLM claim to be trained marxists. I know you’re dumb, but you should be able to figure that one out...
I'm sure if you put enough effort into searching you will eventually find a Trump supporter who does not believe in conspiracy theories.
I do believe that all Trump supporters believe in conspiracy theories. They also deny a lot of social issues happening.
I don't think BLM stormed the Capitol but I do believe that the guy slamming the bike rack through the door was definitely not a Trump supporter..
I was watching a video on the BBC, "I'm ashamed my father was a Capitol Hill rioter", www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-57022923 and there was a video of a guy using a "bike rack" barrier as a battering ram, so I thought I'd look up the source, in case it was the guy you were talking about.
It was credited to Julio Rosas/Townhall (not a good sign, but anyway) so I looked at his posts around Jan 6th, and you couldn't make this up:
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/juliorosas/
Jan 5: "DC Mayor Wants National Guard When Trump Supporters Come to Town, But Not During Summer Riots"
Jan 7: "DC Mayor Refused Any Federal Law Enforcement Help Prior to Protests"
And how, exactly, do you know that? Nobody from the mob seems to be trying to stop him.
By the way, even the Daily Caller says the attempt to blame Antifa for the violence is bullshit. dailycaller.com/.../
So liberals rioted for months across the country , causing over 2 billion dollars worth of damages , plus assaulted and killed innocent people. But y'all are upset about the capitol thing? Maybe Trump supporters learned from you all.
You mean the time the leader of a political party refused to accept the results of a democratic election and had his supporters try to overturn it? Nothing to worry about there. No sir!
You've had race riots before, you've never had someone try to overturn the results of an election before. That's an existential threat to democracy in the US.
@goaded were you in a coma between 2016 -2020
@goaded again have you been in a Coma? It's either you're naive or playing damn stupid.
When was the last time the US Capitol was attacked with the intention of overturning a democratic election, then? When was the last time a race riot threatened US democracy?
Any of these times? No.
1992: Los Angeles riots – April 29 to May 5 – a series of riots, lootings, arsons and civil disturbance that occurred in Los Angeles County, California in 1992, following the acquittal of police officers on trial regarding the assault of Rodney King.
1996: St. Petersburg, Florida riot of 1996, caused by protests against racial profiling and police brutality.
2001: Cincinnati riots – April – in the African-American section of Over-the-Rhine.
2009: Oakland, CA – Riots following the BART Police shooting of Oscar Grant.
2012: Anaheim, California Riot—followed the shooting of two Hispanic males
2014: Ferguson, MO riots – Riots following the Shooting of Michael Brown
2015: Baltimore riots – Riots following the death of Freddie Gray
2015: Ferguson unrest – Riots following the anniversary of the shooting of Michael Brown
2016: Milwaukee riots – Riots following the fatal shooting of 23 year old Sylville Smith.
2016: Charlotte riot, September 20–21 – Riots started in response to the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott by police
I'd say very little do but you don't have thag option.
