Given similar things have happened to white people and barely anything is said in media I think the reaction would be minimal. Who's heard of Timothy Coffman or Eric Farah?
I would still feel the same way because his death was more so personal in a sense they used to work in the same nightclub together as security guards and they had personal beef from that nightclub.
I disagree. George Floyd and chauvin had personal issues linked from working together at a night club in the past. He knew who George Floyd was. I am 100% sure chauvin most likely did drugs at one point in his life if he used to work at a night club
Because it is a fact that chauvin and Floyd had personal issues before this even happened. Chauvin had more power in this situation. Had they street fought, I will assure chauvin probably would’ve gotten his shit rocked
There’s people that resist arrest every single day and are still alive. My brother being one of them. He has ran from the cops. There is other ways to handle someone resisting arrest rather than kneeing them on the neck to death and that makes me feel as if chauvin felt a power trip by killing him. He knew who Floyd was.
You are defending a criminal right now. Chauvin had 18 complaints in as a cop and there is proof that he was very rude and discriminatory towards minorities as the club he used to work at. Even the owner of the club said so, but she was too afraid to say anything because she was afraid of him personally. I personally do not support BLM as it has its own issues, but I will stand behind the fact that George Floyd was caught in the moment of someone that was waiting to have power over him
Floyd is only dead because he was in the hands of somebody that had personal beef with him from a long time ago. Floyd is a lot bigger than chauvin. For you to think it wasn’t a power move to chauvin is quite honestly delusional. I do not usually go off on these types of topics, but it’s scary that you are delusional enough to think that his knee was on Floyd’s back! He did have drugs in his system , but as a cop you should be fully trained on how to restrain somebody if they are on drugs which is sure as hell not blocking their airways.
Just because you think he is a scumbag, doesn’t change the personal facts. It sounds like your opinion is supported behind your hate for Floyd and not the actual facts. He was not changing his position between his back and his neck. I’m trying to figure out where you got your info from. There’s a video to support he was laying on his neck.
It doesn’t matter if it’s the back of the neck. Smooshing someone’s neck to the ground causes sophistication. I would only know because my brother used to do this to me as a kid. Seems like you changed your story from his back, to the back of his neck. Stop changing your story because you simply do not like George Floyd.
Wrong! As a bigger person you need more oxygen to travel to your heart. That is scientifically proven, aka the reason why tall people can’t run as fast as short people
I am actually a triplet and my brother was around the same weight as me as a kid. I was a little shorter obviously. It does make sense in comparison. You do not need to weigh more than somebody to sophisticate them via neck.
Yes it does from the back. I have had it done to me personally before when my brother used to practice wwe moves on me. When your face is smooshed to the ground that causes sophistication. Stop justifying everything with his drug usage. Drugs might have played a part because he was not getting proper oxygen needed, but a cop should know better to take different precautions if somebody appears to be on drugs and not use their knee on their neck. Common sense.
Had chauvin not used that technique, Floyd wouldn’t have died from drugs alone. That is buffoonery to direct his drug usage to chauvins use of restraining him even though he appeared to be on drugs
Ahhh so your true colors are showing. You do not like George Floyd so you are putting blame on his death instead of being factual about your opinion. If chauvin street fought him, like I said he would’ve gotten his shit rocked to Mars and back.
Who said I support BLM? I said a few minutes ago I don’t, but you are defending a criminal. I am not saying George Floyd isn’t an idiot, and I am not saying his lifestyle wasn’t a deadly lifestyle, BUT this is a clear case of police brutality and Chauvin using his power of being a cop to dominate someone he could never ever beat up if they street fought in person. It’s not just about race, it’s about a police officer abusing his power, which is what he did here. That has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter
This case is so stupid. It's not police brutality when George didn't listen to police. He was literally just laying there because of his drugged out brain.
Chauvin isn't a criminal. But he is an idiot that shouldn't be a police officer
I know you said you don't. But it's only BLM types who think George was innocent in any capacity
Yes it is about police brutality because there are people that do not listen to the police that are still alive today. I know people that have resisted arrested and are still alive today. Chauvin is a criminal. He is in jail for second degree murder. And I never said George was an innocent soul, I said he was wrongfully put to death.
Dealing with the consequences does not mean you get your neck stepped on. I’m sorry there’s no winning to that. Im not against cops slamming people to the ground, I am not against cops restraining people , where people can still be alive and be able to fight for themselves in court. Explain to me why chauvin is still in jail for his murder and Zimmerman got all his charges dropped. Chauvin is a criminal.
It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with police abusing their power. They stripped my reputation at a young age and I got bullied because of it
The police at my school made up shit about me to my parents to make my parents look bad, and me and my siblings look bad staying at home by ourselves and they ruined my reputation because of what they told my parents which wasn’t even true.
@7771999 IT WAS ON HIS NECK. And multiple doctors have said that the drugs had zero to do with him dying. He died because he was suffocated. Please cut the bullshit.
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace I have read that the drugs he was on could’ve affected his breathing in the first place, but that is still no excuse for a cop to be laying his knee to somebody’s neck as it creates suffocation between the person and the ground.
Well it was the cause of his death. The cause of his death came back to suffocation. I’m sorry you are only arguing your points through facts. You can’t suffocate through drugs by itself , you overdose. His autopsy did not come back as a drug overdose.
Your points through opinions *** excuse me. You are using personal hate for your reasoning. I don’t know why you hate Floyd as much as you do because if this wasn’t a thing, you wouldn’t have known he existed.
It’s extremely boring, but you decided to argue and you are clearly wrong. That’s why it’s so boring to you. You don’t care but this isn’t your comment in the first place. You do care, that’s why you express so much hate on George’s end. In my book you are a racist, and I don’t throw that term out loosely like most people do in this generation, but you are showing clear signs of racism.
Your opinions are rather sick. A criminal should have an opportunity to serve their time and change their life around unless they are actively killing people. George was not actively killing people. He was a drug addict. If you don’t think drug addicts don’t deserve to turn their life around, you have issues. Sick in the head.
Again you are showing clear signs of racism and I do not throw that term out loosely. I don’t even support BLM. But you my sir are a racist. Please take back that follow request you requested me an hour ago.
You have no proof he is a violent criminal. Chauvin has proof that he is a violent criminal up to even before he killed Floyd. If your old nightclub manager is afraid of you, you are definitely not a decent person. 18 complaints made by civilians that chauvin is discriminatory and violent. Yes sir you are a racist. You are using hate to fight against facts which in my book is racism. Now if you came here with facts, you wouldn’t be a racist.
You are honestly the first person I have called racist about this subject. I don’t live around white guilt, I treat every single person with upmost respect unless if they give me a reason to not respect them. I gave you a fair chance to explain your personal opinions without calling you a racist up until now. We have been going at it for a while and I can only determine you have personal hate against George Floyd which in my book is racism since you don’t even personally know him
Seems like you are treating this case quite unfairly , but don’t let the door hit you from behind. Such a boring topic for you but it seems like you took a significant amount of time out of your day for this topic.
And I assure you, you are not you in your profile pic because I know that looks like that would not taint his name the way you are. You are using someone else’s pic to taint their name and that is illegal.
Eh never mind you aren’t that cute. I thought you looked cuter from a distance of not clicking your profile, but here you are still commenting after you said have a good day.
The same as it's been with him being black. Guy was a piece of shit and even if he'd belong in a cell rather than 6 feet under, his death wouldn't faze me in the slightest.
The clip of him being choked to death would have made it into some sick death compilation online that people laugh about definitely wouldn't have burned down a whole country
If he was high, had a history of drug use and was NOT a good father; I would say "It sucks that George died in an altercation with the police, but he made his bed so I guess he will sleep in it."
I wouldn't care. Come to think about it, I don't even care about George Floyd. Upset a cop, play with fire, roll the dice for your existence. Everyone not retarded knows this.
No difference. My outrage has nothing to do with his race. But I do understand why the outrage is more keenly felt by many due to his race and that off the officer who murdered him.

If people would have reacted the same they'd know about Tony Timpa, a white guy who was kneeled on and killed by two cops, not just one. But they don't, because they wouldn't.
There wouldn't be an opinion. American police are too comfortable with using guns in the first place but George Floyd was a criminal and should have been treated as such. Not hailed as a hero after death. But it all comes down to gun reform
You know you could’ve asked the same question without this disrespectful ass picture. There wouldn’t be a reaction like this because his murderers would be in jail.
@NotARobberYet His murder isn’t in jail? Well so isn’t many other men and women of color who were killed and assaulted by the police. Why aren’t you protesting, instead of calling me a “dumbass bitch”?
Because of the hypocrisy of the people who claim to be protesting police brutality. The US wasn't on fire after Daniel Shaver. Tony Timpa was much more comparable to George Floyd and the US wasn't on fire after that either.
They don't make it about problems with police, they make it about race. It's only when non-white people get hurt that the same kind of tribe that latches onto Floyd will activate. That's the problem, and Floyd and most of the other examples of black people they use as examples of police brutality and NOT examples of police brutality.
It's not about justice or anything like that, because the rioting happens INSTANTLY, not when the trial doesn't go their way. Floyd riots where instant, meanwhile Tony Timpa got shrugs by those people. A black guy with a knife charges a cop and dies, and they riot FOR the knife-wielding maniac, meanwhile Shaver got no reaction by those same people. It's purely tribal and is deliberately tied up a lot into race. And it has little to do with police brutality. So Rittenhouse can defend himself from a bunch of white people, but because they're a part of the tribe that claims to align with black people, he's labelled a terrorist.
THAT'S the problem: These people who are out rioting or defending that tribe and claiming to be protesting police brutality and injustice, but will defend criminals, often commit violence themselves, then celebrate when the police inflict brutality and injustice on innocent people who aren't in the tribe or who are being scapegoated for the ideological ends of the tribe. e. g Chauvin, Rittenhouse, etc.
@AllThatSweetJazz ok. Just because white people aren’t protesting when white people are victims of police brutality doesn’t mean we, Black and PoC shouldn’t. Go protest or raid the White House like last time. And 2) they’re not dead because they’re white.
@AllThatSweetJazz and clearly you don’t know what your talking about because it’s about both the police and race/ableism. Yes, race applies because Black and PoC die because of their race/disabilities.
There you go making it about race. It’s not about what white or black people are doing, it’s about what that tribe aligned with BLM is doing. The “protests” shouldn’t be happening firstly, because they’re riots, not protests. Secondly, because they’re not protesting things that are actually police brutality. Like I said before, they’re defending CRIMINALS and attacking INNOCENT people.
“they’re not dead because they’re white.” The only person that was killed at the capitol was a white woman. So… yeah. You need to check yourself before you speak. BLM wish she was black so they could push their narrative. But the reality is that white people are shot more by police relative to police interactions than black people are. So the whole argument is nonsense. It’s just tribalist leftists defending criminals and harming innocents over a fake narrative to seize power.
You defending them and making it all about race is exactly the nonsense I’m highlighting. Thanks for putting it on display.
@AllThatSweetJazz I brought up race because it applies. The police were literally formed from RACISM. Not all people protesting/rioting are a part of BLM. This is how I know you’re racist. Anyways... All cops are bastards (including your friends, dads/uncles, anyone).
“The police were literally formed from RACISM” No, they weren’t. Again, there’s that nonsense tribalism on display.
“Not all people protesting/rioting are a part of BLM.” True. But I’m lumping them together because it’s easier to identify and they’re all cut from the same cloth.
“This is how I know you’re racist.” And why would that be? Racists are rioting over sleights against their tribe and that somehow makes me racist? No.
“All cops are bastards” Putting it all on display again, lovely. See? We could tell you were indoctrinated from the start, you were called out on it and yet lived up to the accusation while trying to defend. Way to go, champ.
@AllThatSweetJazz Look up the history of the police because you don’t know what you’re talking about. Like I said all cops are bastards. And you along other white folks want to be oppressed.
I already know what you're talking about. You've picked one area where historically there were slave catchers and have bought into the nonsense that that's where all police came from. I'm well aware of the junk typical of the ideology you're aligning with. So I'm well informed on this, thanks.
I don't think white people are oppressed, but see how you deflected it to white people? Yeah, that's you being exactly as trash as I said you would be. If you actually were going to speak honestly to be you've acknowledge I was now saying that white people are oppressed. I was saying that black people are not -- and most definitely not in the ways that your tribe believes.
I’d be outraged and demand justice... But since he wasn’t,... Just kidding. Justice for all or justice for none. But the truth is, if he were white, we never would have heard about it.
It wouldn't have gained as much popularity but to me personally I would have still payed attention to it on the news and expected the cop to get the same punishment.
The exact same, he was a pos who home invaded a pregnant woman, but BUT THERE IS A FUCKING BUT, that was some bs and he should not have died in the care of those officers

Aka Chauvin abused his power as a cop.
Tony Timpa
@7771999 He was white. Who cares?
Exactly. They didn't care
In my opinion it has more to do than just race, it has to do with police abusing their power which is exactly what Chauvin did
That's what they did with Tony Timpa too.
But George would be alive if he didn't make himself claustrophobic after taking drugs. So he refused to sit in the car.
How would the police be able to keep him from running away, when he's such a big guy?
I disagree. George Floyd and chauvin had personal issues linked from working together at a night club in the past. He knew who George Floyd was. I am 100% sure chauvin most likely did drugs at one point in his life if he used to work at a night club
How can you disagree with facts?
Ugh, I give up
Because it is a fact that chauvin and Floyd had personal issues before this even happened. Chauvin had more power in this situation. Had they street fought, I will assure chauvin probably would’ve gotten his shit rocked
There’s people that resist arrest every single day and are still alive. My brother being one of them. He has ran from the cops. It wasn't just on the neck. And it was on the back, which doesn't choke people out. It's used on much smaller people
He died as a druggie
If it wasn’t on his neck, he wouldn’t have suffocated. That makes absolutely no sense that he died as a druggie at that very moment. Think about it.
I’m sorry you need to google some pics because it’s clearly on his neck. You sound awfully delusional
If it wasn’t on his neck, he wouldn’t have been charged for second degree murder. Come on now.
On the back of his neck
Let it be. I'm not going to defend criminals
You are defending a criminal right now. Chauvin had 18 complaints in as a cop and there is proof that he was very rude and discriminatory towards minorities as the club he used to work at. Even the owner of the club said so, but she was too afraid to say anything because she was afraid of him personally. I personally do not support BLM as it has its own issues, but I will stand behind the fact that George Floyd was caught in the moment of someone that was waiting to have power over him
Chauvin was an idiot. But I don't see him as a criminal.
Someone was murdered in the hands of chauvin, he is a criminal. He has a background of being confrontational and discriminatory
😑😑😑
Nah fam. Floyd is dead, and you can see what all the other criminals do to avenge him. Burn Loot Murder
He changed between the back, and the back if his neck.
George should've sat his scumbag ass in the police car.
Still. It's back his neck...
He's a big guy too, so it would do even less to him
It doesn’t matter if it’s the back of the neck.
That is scientifically proven, aka the reason why tall people can’t run as fast as short people
I was saying it was the back of his neck at first. Then I added that too
It doesn't cause choking. We know this now
And you saying your larger brother doing it (probably on your jugular) as a kid, makes no sense in comparison.
It probably wouldn't help if Chauvin weighed twice as much as Floyd
I am actually a triplet and my brother was around the same weight as me as a kid. I was a little shorter obviously. It does make sense in comparison. You do not need to weigh more than somebody to sophisticate them via neck.
Smooshing somebody to the ground via neck does cause sophistication.
Not from the back. This technique is used in so many situations. And Floyd us the one of the few who's died. Because he took deadly doses of drugs
Two idiots meet. One dies the way he has lived. Violently
Who knows. He probably would've died anyway
Ahhh so your true colors are showing. You do not like George Floyd so you are putting blame on his death instead of being factual about your opinion. If chauvin street fought him, like I said he would’ve gotten his shit rocked to Mars and back.
I won't defend a criminal. Sorry
Fuck BLM
Who said I support BLM? I said a few minutes ago I don’t, but you are defending a criminal. I am not saying George Floyd isn’t an idiot, and I am not saying his lifestyle wasn’t a deadly lifestyle, BUT this is a clear case of police brutality and Chauvin using his power of being a cop to dominate someone he could never ever beat up if they street fought in person. It’s not just about race, it’s about a police officer abusing his power, which is what he did here. That has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter

If you resist arrest, you'll have to deal with the consequences. This is not a black and white case
Chauvin was put on a witch trial. Illegitimate jury
You have this rare delusion that cops do not abuse their power, I suggest you watch relief movie law abiding citizens. Go watch it.
Chauvin is part of a much larger case. Of which the dead criminal has gained sainthood in the black community from.
I do know some cops do. I'd Dm you to finish this. But I doubt you would accept
As a white person myself, I have been wrongfully done by the police as well. They tried to strip my reputation at a very young age.
Oh. I know the cops are usually harsher on Whites, because there won't be even close to as much uproar
It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with police abusing their power. They stripped my reputation at a young age and I got bullied because of it
I don't even know what that means
The police at my school made up shit about me to my parents to make my parents look bad, and me and my siblings look bad staying at home by ourselves and they ruined my reputation because of what they told my parents which wasn’t even true.
That makes no sense. Wtf
It does make sense. It makes no sense as to why they did it, I’m still so confused on why they said what they said about me
@7771999 IT WAS ON HIS NECK. And multiple doctors have said that the drugs had zero to do with him dying. He died because he was suffocated. Please cut the bullshit.
The back of his neck
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace I have read that the drugs he was on could’ve affected his breathing in the first place, but that is still no excuse for a cop to be laying his knee to somebody’s neck as it creates suffocation between the person and the ground.
It's no excuse for using brutal means. But I don't think that him staying on the back of his big neck is the cause for his death.
Sorry 🤷🏻♂️
Well it was the cause of his death. The cause of his death came back to suffocation. I’m sorry you are only arguing your points through facts. You can’t suffocate through drugs by itself , you overdose. His autopsy did not come back as a drug overdose.
Your points through opinions *** excuse me. You are using personal hate for your reasoning. I don’t know why you hate Floyd as much as you do because if this wasn’t a thing, you wouldn’t have known he existed.
The propped words for his cause of death is mechanical asphyxiation. Autopsies do not lie
Proper* jeez excuse my typos
I'll let you guys be. This case is extremely boring. And I don't care to constantly discuss it
It’s extremely boring, but you decided to argue and you are clearly wrong. That’s why it’s so boring to you. You don’t care but this isn’t your comment in the first place. You do care, that’s why you express so much hate on George’s end. In my book you are a racist, and I don’t throw that term out loosely like most people do in this generation, but you are showing clear signs of racism.
I couldn't care less what you think. George died. And his death is being used for anti White bs.
If a police man does something wrong that leads to a bad criminal's death, he should only be fired.
Drug addict is one thing. But he had been a violent criminal
You're sick in the head for supporting the terrorists who burned several cities last year.
Waycism 💀
You have no proof he is a violent criminal. Chauvin has proof that he is a violent criminal up to even before he killed Floyd. If your old nightclub manager is afraid of you, you are definitely not a decent person. 18 complaints made by civilians that chauvin is discriminatory and violent. Yes sir you are a racist. You are using hate to fight against facts which in my book is racism. Now if you came here with facts, you wouldn’t be a racist.
You use that word so loosely. Like all the other White girl allies of races who don't give a shit about them 🤣
Literally, no one else than White guilted individuals, take that word seriously.
You are honestly the first person I have called racist about this subject. I don’t live around white guilt, I treat every single person with upmost respect unless if they give me a reason to not respect them. I gave you a fair chance to explain your personal opinions without calling you a racist up until now. We have been going at it for a while and I can only determine you have personal hate against George Floyd which in my book is racism since you don’t even personally know him
Yep. Sane logic there 💀
Anyways. In the world of normal people. I don't treat other races disrespectfully for no reason.
Have good day
Seems like you are treating this case quite unfairly , but don’t let the door hit you from behind. Such a boring topic for you but it seems like you took a significant amount of time out of your day for this topic.
You kept commenting 🤷🏻♂️
You wrote much more
Get your anti White ass out of here
It’s rather insane that you are still commenting after you said have a good day. How embarrassing. Man up to the words you say, and roll with them.
Phff 🤣
And here you are still commenting. I didn’t mention this topic was boring, you did. Like I said, don’t let the door hit you from behind
You're so sassy.
Go get some tea
And I assure you, you are not you in your profile pic because I know that looks like that would not taint his name the way you are. You are using someone else’s pic to taint their name and that is illegal.
Damn. That's a first 😂
Eh never mind you aren’t that cute. I thought you looked cuter from a distance of not clicking your profile, but here you are still commenting after you said have a good day.
Awh. You don't think I'm cute? 🥺😥
Eh you’re okay. Whatever. Thought it was a different pic from a distance.
How lovely
Have a good day now 😇
Don’t let the door hit you from behind.
*door hits me in the head*
The news won't report on this because it won't make division and tensions between different races like they want to.
Chauvin abused his power as a police officer, I would feel the same way I do about it now. Hope he rots in prison😊
You should go look at the Daniel Shaver Case.
@Ryfyle I’ve looked into it. Cop should definitely go to prison for that shit. They need reform ASAP
@Lyndsielee666 They get away with far too much shit.

I'd probably never have heard of it. But assuming I had, my thoughts would be the same- that's unfortunate.
There wouldn't be an opinion. American police are too comfortable with using guns in the first place but George Floyd was a criminal and should have been treated as such. Not hailed as a hero after death. But it all comes down to gun reform
The same.
He was a criminal. He complained about breathing difficulties before he touched the ground.
The cop shouldn't have been on his neck. I say it's negligence not homicide and the drugs had more to do with it.
You know you could’ve asked the same question without this disrespectful ass picture. There wouldn’t be a reaction like this because his murderers would be in jail.
His murderer is not in jail, dumbass bitch.
https://youtu.be/MRlSg1Ww_MY
@NotARobberYet Damn. You must really like me because you found me on two post calling me bitches. Anyways...
“they’re not dead because they’re white.”
The only person that was killed at the capitol was a white woman.
“The police were literally formed from RACISM”
No, they weren’t. Again, there’s that nonsense tribalism on display.
“Not all people protesting/rioting are a part of BLM.”
True. But I’m lumping them together because it’s easier to identify and they’re all cut from the same cloth.
“This is how I know you’re racist.”
And why would that be?
Racists are rioting over sleights against their tribe and that somehow makes me racist? No.
“All cops are bastards”
Putting it all on display again, lovely.
@AllThatSweetJazz Are you done?
If you're done being wrong.
Same as if he were black. You don't put your knees on anyone's neck PERIOD.
The weight was actually localized to the upper back and repositioned regularly. If you would have actually followed the trial you would know that.
@DeltaCharlieEcho She is a liberal and does not care about facts.
then nobody would care because you can't virtue signal about white people...
