You may wish to check your battles and war history again. First. The only war America has lost has been Vietnam. We really didn't have any business being there to behind with. (I'm sorry my brothers and sisters who have fallen. Rest easy your tour of duty is done. Thank you for giving all. ) Now most of these wars were not a war that included america. We were asked by Allies to join in the wars. If you start adding up forward progress areas gained lost progression of end point or just simply the holy fucking hell that is the most epic anything ever moment in the war or the point where the tide turned in favor of the eventual victor. You will almost always find it is a point that untill American soldiers hit the ground it was not looking to good for the eventual winners. If you want to really talk about the wars with someone who has actually been on those front lines or packing his rifle other rifle backup to the backup rifle all the ammo his 2 to 4 pistols as well and stared into Charlie's barrel and got lucky enough to watch the bullet eject from said barrel while in the process of dodging said bullet. Well buttercup if you feel you want to ride this horse then I will saddle up for you but remember. It's going to be a long hard ride. I treked the jungles and deserts and mountains and villages with a 80 pound roughsack and my munitions. I hope that fluffy purse had some super high volume of coins in it. Your going to need the strength and stamina.

To give a facetious answer to your facetious question, they couldn't even win the revolutionary war until the French and Spanish joined in...
On a serious note though:
Korea wasn't technically a war (no declaration and it was the first major UN mission) and also, technically, it hasn't ended yet - they just stopped actively shooting each other.
It's been suggested that they got involved in WW1 & WW2 after being asked for help. Technically the USA was a Neutral country at the outbreak of both wars. They joing 1914-1918 after the Germans "invited" them to by targeting American ships, the final straw being the sinking of the Lusitania. The Japanese extended an invitation to join the festivities of WW2, delivered by their navy to the US base in Pearl Harbour...
*looks at the battle of the Brexit*
You know we would have gotten away with winning these battles if it weren't for those pesky war crimes and their dog too!
Honest answer though, there is no winning move with war. We probably should just stick to playing chess.
No one wins at war. I hate politics.

Speaking of can't win a war, take a look at your war with the French Revolution, followed by the War of the Third Coalition. That didn't beat you up badly enough, so then there was the War of the Fourth Coalition. Then there was the British invasion of Río de la Plata, where Britain invaded Uruguay not once but twice, and was beaten both times. And that was not due to the arrival of the Spanish military, but simply the local merchants and rich people organizing a militia which beat the British forces. Now back to the coalitions - Britain was fighting France all this time (and losing) and so there was the War of the Fifth Coalition. Okay, we are just into the 1800's and there are still many more wars for Britain to lose, but lets get to the main one that is important here. How did you fare with the American Revolution? Not well at all. Done talking about not being able to win a war?
Haha. Someone's butthurt "colonials" managed to screw the British Empire and gain independence only to become one of the greatest nations on the face of the planet while influncing the world and making it a better place, all in 200 years.
You guys should stick to football for now and try to bring it "home" 😂 then talk bigger than your mouths 😜I don’t think the US have really ever fought a war on their own.
The closest I guess is the Spanish - American war.
pretty much all other wars it’s needed it’s hand held by European or antipodean allies.
The Americans are also really good at Blue on Blue, just ask any of their allies in previous conflicts.
The Title of the question is wrong, it’s not so much it can’t win a war alone.
it’s that it dare not enter one alone. It's hard to win a war when you're not allowed to. Our politicians treat our Army like a police force, and then tie our hands behind our back. It's not about winning, it's about funneling money into the defence industry.
Imagine Tyson knocking someone around in the first round, damn near putting them down. Then, come next round, he is told all he can do is sit on the opponent. No punching, just sit on them. That was Iraq, Afghanistan, and to a lesser extent Vietnam. You can't count Korea as a loss, more a stalemate. Not to mention it was a U. N. mission.I'd suggest the better path is to avoid fighting unnecessary wars (Korea definitely wasn't unavoidable since Acheson left it outside of the US's defense perimeter, and Vietnam arguably wasn't either).
Vietnam arguably was a strategic success if fighting there kept Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand from going Communist. You mean the U. S. can't be a global empire without help from NATO lackeys like Britain? Why does it need to win wars? Nobody is attacking it.
The U. S. needs to return to being a constitutional republic and follow the guiding principals of the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights that were inspired by the desire to break away from monarchy and become a nation "of the People, by the People and for the People." And it needs to stop fucking with other countries.Korea and Vietnam was, "We gotta stop them, damn Commies"
Somalia and Afghanistan, along with Iraq is, "We gotta stop them damn Muslims"
Notice, we did neither. Not only that but we left most of our military hardware behind.I think the USA does their best when it comes to taking down the enemy but I do believe they allow too many foreigners into the Country and they need to do background checks on them, people... Anyone can have a passport from the UK
going to the USA and that is how terrorists get into Americamaybe Britain should be our puppet since they lost all their power when they decolonized... oh wait they already are.
I'd say none of those were wars, they were more like police action. The USA trying to police other countries, a war is where they invade and annex to make it part of the country invading.
That or, rather than invading just nuke them and move on.This is such a dumb question haha america saved all your butts in ww2 and still saving your dumb butts haha
? Huh? ... "come back to" ? -- Your question seems half-baked & lame.
let's get back to giving blowjobs and forget this war crap!
No, The point of those wars was not to "win" them. The point was (and will be again) to generate income for US defense contractors. The longer the war goes on, the more money is made. Nobody in the US defense conglomerate wants peace or a short war.
Yes, id rather have queen elizabeth to deal with, than the kardashians
Should Britain cede and join the US as a state since Britain can’t win a war alone? The Germans? Japanese? Iranians? Iraqis? Your question is based in bias and ignorance of modern warfare.
Wrong.
First Gulf War in 1991 and Bosnia in 1998 as @NYCQuestions1976 said.Read about the Barbary wars. We won those with no help from the Brits.
And keep in mind that we fought those war because the British were not willing to stand up to the Ottoman Empire.Israel rules America :D America loves oil. fights for oil
