Messed up, isn't it? Here is the funny thing, I know an illegal (who finally went home last week). This dude did not miss a single solitary second of work due to covid. When everybody was shut in going crazy, this dude got up every morning and went to his illegal job and was being paid the whole time, under the table.
He didn't skip a beat. He made all the money he wanted, so he could take it home and live a better life in his home country. I called and wrote my congressmen and senators about this, they did not give one shit.
He and the other illegals he worked with never missed a day of work. That's so messed up.

I know the immigrant community well (both legal and illegal), since I am an immigrant. It is mind boggling to me how dumb people are about they think immigrants want and need. Illegals need to go the fuck home. And the rest of the immigrant community doesn't want handouts, we want people to stay out of our way so we can make our own way.
It is a slap in the face to all the legal immigrants who were required to wait and had to cross all the T's and dot all the i's before they could get in. I hear they had to be sponsored by a relative and guarantee that they would have a job and not be a burden to their community also. I'm assuming it will take another 9/11 incident to change anything. We were united after that and now we are back to letting in all dissidents and criminals, and possibly terrorists too.

It's just plain facts and nobody is paying attention, but it's coming no matter what and save for very few outlets, there is not much covered media wise. I know big shock and all, but yeah, the next 6 months things are fixin' to get ugly and the people most affected, seem to be the most unaware.
Most people live in a state that taxes and spends but New York is a spend and then tax. It is going to get interesting in the next few years when the most people move out of state and there is almost no one to pay taxes then what. when this extra hand out of money happens I will quit my job and put my hand out too.

It's really easy to say that from your perspective, but if you were born in shitty conditions and you saw that people were living in another country without most of your problems, would you not want to live in that country as well for a fresh start at life? You're complaining about money that the government is handling in as much of an ethical manner as they can. If you saw a family that works hard and still can't provide well for their kids or themselves, would you just turn them away and say "Nope, my tax money! You having a better standard of life will ruin mine!" If so then you're just another low life that will stand on the bodies of others to get to higher places in life.
