Does anyone else ever remember specific things from the past and realize that current adults weren't even born yet and makes you realize you're old?

Like, I remember getting a Nintendo 64 for Christmas 1996. I was ten years old, at the time. An adult nowadays would be -7 when this happened. Or, the time me and my female friend cut class and had a loud fight in the school hallway in the 11th grade. When this happened, a current 18 year old would've barely been born yet because it was 2003, back when we were making George Dubya jokes and watching Crank Yankers on Comedy Central. It just makes one think "DAMN, I'M F*CKING OLD!"

I don't even feel as ancient as thirty-four; honestly, my mental age is like 23 to 25. That's how old I feel like I really am, on the inside. The post-college, young adult. Thirty-four, though? That's like, "your first kid just graduated elementary school and you just paid off your mortgage" age. That's f*ckin' old as balls!

Anyone else feel this way? Like, memories from your childhood now pre-date current adults' births and you feel old knowing that?

Zoomers (born 1997 and younger), how do you feel?
