There needs to be a clean line drawn between an "anti-vaxxer" and scepticism regarding one particular vaccine.

The idea of "anti-vaxxers" has been around for years and refers to people who are flat out against any vaccine due to various conspiracy theories. I now see that any opposition to a Covid19 vaccine is being lumped in to this group, which is misleading.

Traditionally a vaccine can take years before being introduced to the general public, I'm talking up to 20 years in some cases. Due to the nature of Covid 19, they simply didn't have the time, so the vaccine has been put out without undergoing full phased clinical trials. Naturally this will make some people worried.

It's important to be educated about the vaccine and not be scared or pressured into getting one. We already have multiple CV19 vaccines and it is clear that some are better than others, both in terms of efficacy, but also in terms of potential negative side effects. For example, where I live most people would prefer Pfizer over Astra Zeneca, however the government only has a limited supply of Pfizer available. As a result, they're trying to push people into getting Astra Zeneca, yet are making you sign an indemnity form if you get it, which is ridiculous. They say the risks of blood clots with AZ are very very low and the best vaccine is whatever is available, yet not wanting to take responsibility if something does go wrong is completely at odds with that. I had numerous vaccines at school, Hep B, varicella, polio etc etc and never would you be asked to sign an indemnity form.

Anyway, I'm not against CV19 vaccines, people should get one at some point. But they're not all equal and people should understand what they're getting instead of getting one just because they've being coerced into doing it.

LOL No.  And what gets covered up is 1) the true stats on covid mortality. 2) the number of deaths and injuries (many of them permanent) from the jab.  People who want the jab should get it. If it works, they're safe, right? But coercing people, covering up inconveient facts, and lying is against the law and a violation of the Nuremberg Codes.  People are entitled to full disclosure and deserve all the facts so that they can make informed decisions.

The whole vaccine thing has taken on the aspects of worst sort of religious extremism. As each side tries to enforce their wishes, the trenches get dug deeper and the vicious attacks become worse. This seems to be rooted in fear that turned to anger and then hatred. On one side you have the crusaders who believe that all who do not embrace their beliefs must be put to the sword. On the other, you have the hesitant who have doubts and fears about the speed and amount of research that has gone into these new vaccines which has turned to anger as the crusaders try to force their dogma.

At the end of the day, people who want the vaccine should get it with the understanding that it doesn't completely prevent infection or the ability to the virus to spread, but will mitigate symptoms. Those who want to wait for awhile, should wait until they feel comfortable that these drugs are safe. As for the virus, it will do what viruses do. It will mutate into new variants and recur making the term 'vaccinated' into a continually moving target. That is the nature of viruses.

Both sides should put down their extremism and understand that choice is the only thing that we have in life. Making either choice when it comes to these vaccines is a leap of faith because none of us has the complete picture of how this will play out.

I got it after hearing from the front lines and I dont like vaccines. make your best decision. I can tell you covid can be awful as I had it. Delta being worse... I figured time to get vaccine to lessen chance of getting it bad again. I figure, immunity only lasts a year or less.

The FDA issued the emergency use authorization in the first place. Full approval was basically a formality because anything short of tens of thousands of people dying directly because of the jab itself meant it was going to happen anyway. It's weird solely because it is a historical anomaly for the FDA to approve a vaccine less than a year since its first use (it's usually 3 or more).

At the end of the day, nobody actually cares what the FDA has to say. The people who wanted the vaccine got it regardless. The people who don't want it, or don't trust the government weren't going to change their mind because another alphabet agency says so anyway. The current messaging from the "experts" is basically undermining their own argument too, so it's unlikely to sway anyone who's even open to persuasion. The real reason this is happening, is to justify new government mandates and encourage companies to start mandating it for employees.

I say let nature decide with the laws of evolution thrown in ( survival of the fittest ) There have been many viruses before and there will be many many after COVID 19 its the very nature of a virus. People can choose not to have the vaccination it’s they’re right.. the freedom of choice. We don’t have to get worked up about it we just have to respect their choices and make our own. It can be a very divisive subject especially when those close to you are perhaps taking the health and well-being of others into their hands by not getting vaccinated but all we can do is listen to their reasons try and understand their thought process , educate them where and if we can and then deal with they’re decision in the most supportive and constructive way possible.

The one that quotes the bible, you must be very careful when reading it. When the text is read out of context it may appear that way but looking at it in context, Leviticus is simply stating the rules and regulations for certain things and in chapter 13 of Leviticus in the same bible quoted here it is stating the rules and regulations of defiling skin diseases. Nothing more, nothing less. Besides Leviticus is in the old testament which christians today don't follow, we follow the new testament in relation to the old because that is what the bible tells us to do. Also it doesn't mention that we must take a cute or treatment for our illness, it only mentions a covering and isolation, for defiling skin diseases. If you have any questions I am definitely willing to look into them

I never got covid because it never existed and never will but where I live they mandated the vaccine (that's france by the way) so now in order for me to have civil rights I need a QR code so I went and got it (is if I had a choice they tried starving me) and guess what? I got sick.
So the irony is after 2 years of hearing about these numbers never ever seeing someone with more than a common cold being told it's covid and never catching any of it I let it get me just so I can get a certificate that I'm a human who has rights.

I read the science research papers, and waited for the longterm results (came out in July). Though i am resistant (the research papers showed those with O- blood type are highly resistant), I got my first vaccine shot last month. sore shoulder that felt like muscle fatigue that lasted 2 weeks, but that's it for side effects from the shot. I go for my next one once it cools down next week
