Sickos will record you whether your feeding or not. It's called invasion of privacy. When my wife was breastfeeding my kids we sat away from everyone else to give her privacy.
Hm. Interesting question for that instance. I'm going to say that, if it's a public space, nothing can stop it. If she's on a park bench, a security camera, at a store across the street, could record it no problem, for instance.

As far as I know it's legal in a public place. However, if they find the video they could get it taken down if you don't have their permission. It also depends if they are just in the background of the video vs being the main subject of the video.

Or candid porn shots all over YouTube and porn sites that women know nothing about.
Privacy rights depend on the state. For example, you can video a crowd event, but there are many exceptions and particulars depending on what you're posting.

Absolutely not. If someone is recording you they must tell you
That is what I would think and hope too.
I have cameras on my house. I had to put up a sign saying "you are being recorded ". Basically, it says "smile, you're on candid camera".
We have a ring doorbell. I don’t know. I have guys on my breastfeeding posts saying sickos will do this. I dunno.

Not sure about US regulations but i think that should be illegal everywhere
I do too!
If you are in public you can be filmed by anyone for virtually any reason.
It's constitutional law, First Amendment.
Yep.

Like covertly being taped?
Depends on state and where they are while being filmed.

Don't know about US laws, but generally, video taping someone without their consent is a violation of privacy.
If the video taping was part of CCTV surveillance, there should be a prior notice.
I hope so! Without consent it should be. I'll have to do some research since I don't really know.
I really thought it would be but someone is telling me it isn’t.
Privacy laws in different places, states and counties vary. But in most places no, it’s not illegal if you are in a public place.
It does vary from state to state, but I know you have to be very careful videotaping cops.
@Subarugirl: State laws don't override the constitution 1st amendment.
Depends on the state and the expectation of privacy in the context.
In public, in most context, if you aren't making any money out of it, then it's not illegal.
Its agaist the law, but the goverment can do it. They dont have laws
Anything you can see in public may be legally video and audio recorded and placed online. Supreme Court ruling.
I imagine anything with nudity would definitely be against the law.
In public, yes. You have no expectation of privacy in public.
I agree. 100%.
Videotaping in public is legal as far as I know, but ask a lawyer.
It is legal.
It is 100% illegal.. In a public place I am not sure.. but it is a human violation
I think that might depend on what state you’re in. If you’re in public it might be legal.
